Best catfish around. I'm so excited to learn they are in Pomona. You need to try out their menu.

My order didn't come with the oysters or the hushpuppies, and another order at our table was also missing hushpuppies. After I got home, I called about the missing items and was told they were out of oysters. They also said the hushpuppies were forgotten and told me to let them know next time and they would take care of it. The seafood was seasoned well and tasted good overall. The only downside for me was the dark part in the fish (the bloodline), which has a stronger taste and isn't my preference. For sides, I had greens and candied yams. The greens were a little bland and needed more seasoning, and the yams were just okay--not very sweet. Someone with me ordered oxtails, mac and cheese, and collard greens. The oxtails were actually pretty good, but the mac and cheese wasn't for me (I don't usually like mac and cheese). The collard greens were just okay. The wait time was about 25-30 minutes, which they did mention ahead of time. One thing to note is that when we went, it was cash only because the card machine wasn't working. They accepted Zelle, but it would be helpful to have a sign posted. The place is small, but the customer service was great. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and the staff overall seemed on point. Overall, the food was decent, but nothing that would make me come back.

Overall enjoyable, friendly staff, with good food…read more Service was slow. Our entrees took an eternity to come out but it was done well. Drinks: - All the drinks were strong but the strongest was the hurricane (lots of rum). I found all the drinks to have a good amount of alcohol and tasty. The Berry Smash was probably my least favorite but not bad - very sweet though. Appetizers - Brussels Sprouts had a heavy balsamic flavor that was strong in flavor but enjoyable - frog legs - you get a good number of pieces and I don't get to eat this often so definitely worth a try - gumbo small - individual sized gumbo that has a little kick with a mix of seafood options Entrees - Quarter Catfish (fried was recommended) - nice piece size that was fried well and tasty, there was lump crab with a butter sauce that was great (I actually liked this more than the catfish) - Crawfish Pasta - not bad but decent. not the most flavorful considering most things were. - shrimp jambalaya - you can substitute the rice for pasta - strong kick, a little dry as pasta and decent Desserts: - Bread pudding in bourbon sauce - comes out sizzling and made in house; wasn't my favorite I think the sauce was too much - Carrot cake - definitely the best dessert they have; reminds me of a carrot cake cinnabon - Cheesecake - the top layer has a very sharp cheddar taste; not your classic mild cheesecake - you must really like cheese to enjoy this Overall I thought the food items they really experimented with and enjoyed the creativity. I don't think everything sat well with my taste but the food was very enjoyable and not too pricey. Staff was very polite though service was slow with the entrees I enjoyed our waiter a lot. Not too many creole food places that I've found that I've enjoyed and had an overall good experience here. Food wasn't perfect, but I applaud them on the uniqueness of the food, friendly waiter, and local business. Would definitely come back again. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5

The weather was a little chilly and I was trying to figure out where to eat in the Plaza after a chaotically exhausting day at work and decided to settle at Georgia's because of their awesomely peaceful and refreshing Patio. Sim was my Order Taker and he powered up my experience with his Signature authentically exciting and fun Hospitality as always! Sim enthusiastically communicated the deliciously fun Rainbow of handcrafted Beverages Georgia's offers and I settled on a glass of yummy Sweet Tea to go with my Chili Mac and House Salad. The Sweet Tea, Chili Mac, and House Salad harmonized so well together and Sim helped make my experience extra fun and high value stimulating by keeping me updated on the exciting UEFA Champions League Soccer Games to look forward to in the next upcoming weeks! Sim oozes positive life giving optimism and I appreciate how generous he is with his Sports Analyst Commentary in engaging me with the Futbol Universe Players and Teams to watch out for to stay happily inspired in my own Professional Hustle ;0) Lex and the Manager on Duty also added a lot of warm and welcoming vibes by being attentively present and focused in making sure my food was prepared and plated beautifully and providing me with To-Go containers to minimize waste and helping me enjoy my favorite Georgia's Recipes as yummy leftovers the following day! Lex's sense of Style is so fun and charming too and really gets me excited to savor the Gentle beauties of Spring and I really appreciate her consistency in showing up to work with a dedicated happy to selflessly serve attitude!

Service def needs improvement, food takes too long to leave the kitchen, items get forgotten to bring out and the whole concept of first ordering your food at the cashier and then take a number to a table needs to be replaced cuz you may pay for your food and get a number but you may not find a table! The Ambiance of the place was good.

I also got a side of oysters and a soft shell crab. It was a 20 minute wait. I was already there and paid, but was really contemplating asking for a refund. The guy was not very customer service forward. He was like a robot. Not very emotional. Just going through the motions. While waiting, I struck up a conversations with other customers waiting. They love the food. There's only the man and I assume his wife cooking the food. My food was finally ready. No inside seating so I went outside where there are two picnic benches with umbrellas. My food was not hot. Like it was sitting there a bit. The food was still delicious. I guess sorta glad it wasn't hot as I had to scarf down my food since my lunch is only 30 minutes. I did put it in the toaster oven when I got home later for dinner. The place was busy. Lots of people coming in. One of the other customers told me to call it in next time so I didn't have to wait so long. Go in for the food, not the service.
