If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I come here often, and I'm always leaving with a reason to never spend my money here again. I always give the benefit of the doubt so I gave this place chance after chance. Aside from all the other minor mishaps, this last time was what did it for me. Here it goes: I walk in as soon as they open, ask for a simple acrylic French tip. I sit down and automatically smell the residue of cigarettes. I don't care about people smoking cigarettes, I thought the smell was only coming off of him. The smell was actually coming off of my fresh fingernails. I just got them done 2 days ago, and I can still smell the residue of his cig fingers on mine. I want to puke. Anyway, I asked for square tips then changed my mind to squoval mid sesh. (I know that can be annoying for techs but I only asked because all he had to do was file the sides down.) he didn't understand me and did an oval shape. I didn't say anything because I understand there is a language barrier no biggie. Before he finished I kept trying to asked if he could think the white tip a little more for me they were way too thick. He didn't understand. Once he was done I asked for the third time if he can thin them down. It was a big deal for them to start over. (No other customers were there, they had time and I did too) and either way my nails did not come out the way I wanted them too. After he had to redo my nails I noticed his hand got heavier through frustration. I have never seen this man work here before until the other day. I gave up on even trying to explain why I don't like my nails. PS If you do go here make sure you get the woman. ( I don't know her name) I've never had an issue with her SHES GREAT. This place is my happy place. I've been coming every two weeks for the last several years to get my nails done. Susie and the staff do a fantastic job at an incredible price. For anyone that has had a negative experience, I truly think it was an outlier and encourage them to give it another shot. I get a acrylic nail fill with gel polish for $30. Occasionally I get white and pink nails for an additional $5. Hands down the BEST price I've seen anywhere for this. Highly recommend this salon. I love them to the point they are on my Christmas card list. read more

Customer service is NOT their forte. I am by no means a nail snob but I know that if I pay a professional to do my nails it should last longer than 3 days. I thought I'd pop in to get my nails done due to the excitement of being engaged. I should also note, they have minimal selection on polish colors. I asked if my nails could be filed a bit shorter after the tech filed them (they grow fast) and received quite a bit of attitude. Before we began to start the polish process I asked if she could suggest a different/more popular color for the base of a french manicure than just the natural shade of my nail. Her response was appalling, "Idk, if you want a nail color go pick something out from the wall. That's what we said when you walked in." Dually noted. I won't be back. I walked home wondering what I had done wrong for them to be so unpleasant and was even more upset when the tips of the polish started crumbling by that evening. read more

We stopped in on the coldest day we've had this winter for pedicures. Everything was very clean and the people were so friendly! They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The salon is beautiful. They had a couple different types of nail polish to choose from. I've always loved OPI but I choose something different and I LOVE it! I'm happy to say we will definitely be back! read more

Horrible!! Horrible Horrible!! Never have I even had this bad of an experience. I was a walk in to get my color changed for Shellac while my dog was being groomed in the same building. I left there really not liking my nails at all but if figured I would just let it go. Well I should have said something at that point. My nails are peeling like peeling bad the day after. I left for thanksgiving weekend for a family trip 5 hours away. Well my nails got worse! My thumb nail peeling so bad that my nail hurts. Mind you I do not work at this time due to a traumatic brain injury. Returned home and my thumb nail peeled more and hurts more then ever. I stopped in the shop today and spoke to a man and he turned around and was speaking "their" language (not sure where they are from). They both proceed to yell at me as I ask for a refund. There was one customer in the shop at the time. I did not raise my voice back I simply asked for a refund and that I did not want them fixed at that time. As I walked out the door upset they (both the men) yelled at me as I exited. Very unprofessional on so many levels. So much disrespected as a customer. I would never recommend this business to anyone! Do not waste your time or money. Rude rude rude!! read more

Made an appointment for acrylics for a Sunday. Walked in, no one was in the place (for a reason) but an older Chinese woman on her phone. Barely welcomed me and my friend to the salon, aside from saying "you were the one that called?". Very unfriendly and started to do my nails, and I requested for her to push back my cuticles, she ignored. Asked her again with a please before she put acrylic on my nails and she seemed very annoyed by the request, but proceeded to do so with filing machine. I asked about the application of one of the fake nails and how it looked crooked, she told me that it was my finger (aka you have a crooked finger!!). After acrylics were on my nails, she started to file the nails down after clipping, and literally CUT INTO MY PINKY (pictured), making me yell "ouch!". She might've mumbled a lil inaudible "sorry" but nothing sincere as a response to making me bleed. At that point, I looked at my friend and we both knew I had to leave. Left before she could put polish on my nails, only paid the $30 for the acrylic application of which she didn't deserve. Oh also, owner popped in during the middle of all of this and only thing he said to us was a "nails?" To my friend, but she only came for the ride. Awful customer service. Come here if you wanna feel bad about yourself and if you wanna bleed. It's really not hard to be nice to people. Conversation and being friendly in the service industry can go a long way. I went to this salon and got a Shellac manicure and pedicure. The manicure lasted almost three weeks without any chips. Great price, also. I am definitely going back. Went to this place about three times on Saturdays. There is always a man and a woman there. The last time the man took care of me. He was rushing because three people had come in and wanted their nails done. He took a tweezer and latched onto the shellac on my nails and just ripped the old polish off each fingernail. Took some of the nail off with the old polish. I've never seen anyone do that. They always tell you not to do that so you don't wreck your nails. I was going on vacation. The polish chipped off of four of my nails within five days. My nails are all totally weak now and wrecked. I will never go back to this place. It is cheap, but you get what you pay for. I also do not feel good about the sanitary conditions. read more

Everyone is really friendly, the place is clean, and the prices are much better than other places nearby. Today was my second time here. I don't often treat myself, so I got a manicure & pedicure. It was an amazing experience. Not only are the pedi chairs massage chairs, but I got a great leg-foot and hand-arm massage. The place got busy while I was there, but the nail techs worked as a team to accommodate everyone. I never felt rushed or forgotten. They were all friendly, and did a fantastic job. I felt pampered and cared-for. I highly recommend DD Nails. read more

I went here with a few of my bridesmaids to get my nails done for my wedding and I was very impressed! Everyone's nails looked AWESOME, it was a good price and the staff was very friendly.
