Their technicians are knowledgeable and once one got stuck sorting a problem and he reached out to another technician who promptly joined him and together they took care of the issue. 3. They almost always come on time. Not always but almost always. 4. Technicians are not just knowledgeable; they are also pleasant and professional and good at explaining issues and options. 5. They stand behind their work! The not as good: 1. I twice tried to spend a bunch of money that involved a special order, and that didn't go well. The first time, the guy didn't collect a deposit so they never put the order in and didn't follow up with me. The second time (same issue) they sent an excellent technician in the early evening and while he got everything I needed planned, it got late so he said he'd call the next day to get the order input and collect the deposit. That never happened either. That was weird. It wasn't an inexpensive proposition (I needed a new lower panel for my door that had been damaged by someone closing the door on my car!) 2. My last appointment to make an adjustment was rescheduled 3x. I did not have an urgent need, so the rescheduling was totally fine, but there was poor communication and I did a lot of waiting around, and had to call myself to find out the plan. Very patient phone people as I was frustrated on the phone regarding the poor communication. So I think I would still call them for any needed service due to knowledge and general professionalism, but I'd be very insistent that follow through is promised. (I never did do the special order. I gave up. ) Hope that helps.

I called around 11 a.m. after the rack on top of my car caught the bottom of the garage door while I was backing out. The door had only opened about three quarters of the way, which bent the bottom section and knocked one of the rollers out of the track. The woman who answered was incredibly kind and scheduled a same day appointment between 1 and 3 p.m. She followed up around 2 to let me know Mike would arrive between 2:30 and 3. I really appreciated the clear communication. Mike was quick, knowledgeable, and honest, and he didn't try to upsell me. He replaced the damaged bottom bar, put everything back in place, and tested the door. When he noticed it was still opening only partway, he adjusted the motor and spring until it opened fully. The repair took about an hour, and the door now works more quietly and smoothly than before the accident. He also explained that worn bearings and pulleys were putting extra stress on the spring and motor. Rather than pressure me into additional work, he explained what would eventually need attention and gave me the information I needed to share with my landlord. My landlord and the company are now in contact about an estimate for the remaining repairs. The repair cost less than I expected, the door is working better than before, and the handoff to my landlord was easy. Thank you, Mike, for the excellent work, honesty, and clear explanation. I would absolutely call Around the Clock Garage Doors again and recommend them to anyone needing garage door repair!

You could tell he was experienced and took pride in his work super professional, friendly, and respectful. In short: Level 10 Overhead Door is super approachable, honest, straightforward, and their price is…read moreone of the most affordable you can find, all without sacrificing service quality. They will be my go-to service from now on, and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. The long story: My brother recently had his garage door fixed in Sacramento, which taught us that prices can vary greatly among businesses for the exact same service, parts, and quality. We were also warned that sometimes the initial quote can be low then the extra items that need to be done can be priced very differently and can make the total jump up significantly, so it's not easy to compare among businesses. It made me very stressed when it was my turn to fix my garage door. I sent a request for quote on Yelp to several places for a torsion spring and cable replacement. Most businesses kept offering to come out right away to give an accurate quote without giving a price range, but I didn't want to deal with having to say no on the spot after being surprised by a high price. Only a few gave clear price ranges and lists of what they would do. My friends even requested quotes for me, and we were surprised by how massive the price differences were. Some businesses charged double what others did, or gave completely different quote ranges to different Yelp users! With all that in mind, I decided to contact Level 10 Overhead Door because their information was consistent, and their pricing matched what my brother had paid before. They didn't push the estimation visit but were able to give me an exact quote just by having me text them a picture of my garage door! What a convenience! Within the hour, their technician arrived with a truck full of tools and started work immediately. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what I would need for my future opener setup. She did a wonderful job, cleaned up, and lubricated everything. Just out of kindness, she even took the time to take off screws and replace the rollers on the end brackets for me - a task I was originally planning to do myself. What I loved most was the overall attitude of both the lady on the phone and the technician on-site. They didn't mind my questions, laid out all the options for me (like torsion choices) without being pushy at all, and were happy with whatever decision I made. I also really appreciated how the technician did extra things for me voluntarily, but acted like it was no big deal, unlike many people who tend to make a big scene about their extra effort. I am sharing this not just because I'm thankful to them, but because I feel truly lucky to have found them. I want to share my experience so other homeowners can save themselves the stress of finding an affordable, high-quality business they can actually trust.
