I was very skeptical about ordering anything other than donuts, because in my experience donut shops don't really excel at sandwich-making. I saw the menu though and couldn't resist building my own breakfast burrito. And let me tell you.... it was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. The girls working behind the counter are very sweet and they make all the food right there in front of you. The ingredients look fresh and my burrito was packed full -- so full that I only ate half and had leftovers for later. Score! The donuts are delicious too, and they have a wide array of canned & bottled beverages. I love this little spot! read more

I have to say.. I've had the opportunity to travel around the world and try many different cafes but this one beats them all. It's not only how great the food is, which Its delicious by the way. More importantly is their consistency and great customer service. A rare combination to find in my experience. The food is fresh, rich and it becomes a culinary experience of flavor. They also make you feel welcomed and taken care of, just like being at home. Especially by Monica, she is courteous and very attentive. I go there everytime I get a chance I'm in California. I'm on a Thai tea kick, and this cute little store hit the spot! I appreciate the variety of their drink menu for a "donut place". We came in close to closing time for afternoon pick-me-up drinks, and they threw in a donut for us to share on the house. My boyfriend tried the iced guava green tea with fruit and enjoyed it a lot. I usually do not go to donuts shops to eat sandwiches due to the fact they mostly don't taste good! At this shop it is kind of different! They have a very nice staff here, the ladies are very nice and friendly and their atmosphere of the store is cozy, you can see the street and the park if you're dining in. I have tried their Roast beef with turkey slices and some avocados (tastes as amazing as it sounds) and they also toast it if you ask them for it, it is my favorite sandwich from them, do not forget to ask them to give you some Jalapeños if you like spicy things "they're too spicy for me" They also do have shakes and smoothies I guess and that Boba thing. 13 minutes for a basic smoothie. If I wanted to wait that long for a drink and for the same price, I would've went to Starbucks. I'd understand if they were busy or short staffed but they weren't and only one person ahead of me ordering a donut and had 5 or 6 workers behind the counter. And the employee who took my order when I had asked about my drink, she goes and ask who's taking care of it ??? Like aren't you supposed to ?? And the female workers hover your change above their tip jar to make your feel obligated you to leave a tip. Glad I didn't leave one and I wasn't the only one they did that to and it seems they do it to men and try to "charm" them ..... I've been coming here for years and won't be coming back, not just for this visit but for the bad experiences and how poorly the service is becoming. I've been to this shop a few times already and it's pretty good. I haven't had a problem with it until today. My drink wasn't what I expected which wasn't the problem exactly it was just the way they handled themselves that made me really upset when I addressed it. I had asked if they did any slush type of drinks even though it wasn't on the menu and the cashier said yes. So I ordered a strawberry slush but instead received like a strawberry milk shake. Being lactose I naturally got up to ask about the drink and they offered to change the drink but didn't follow through. I waited about 25 minutes until I reminded them and when it was ready they didn't even bother to call it out.
