For starters, I have NEVER had a nail fall off with Joe -- ever. For reference, I live 20+ miles away and I'm still willing to make the drive because the quality is truly unmatched. Every time I leave, my nails look even better than the time before. Joe pays such close attention to detail, and I really love and respect that. Most of the inspo pictures I bring in are extra-long sets, but I personally get medium length. If he sees that a design won't translate well onto a shorter nail (which is totally normal since there's less room), he'll tell me upfront and we adjust it. And honestly? The adjusted design usually turns out even better than the original picture. Their prices are also more than fair -- especially compared to in-home nail techs charging $120+ for simple sets. My last refill with full designs on every nail was only $85, and every single nail had a different technique. My advice: book an appointment, and if you know your design will be detailed or time-consuming, mention that when booking. Horrible customer service. Both owners have a nasty personality. They're always bothered, mad and in a bad mood. When a customer walks in they're so quick to ask "What do you need?" They don't even respond with smile and say hello. When you walk in, you get a feeling as if you're bothering them. The male owner even vented out one time complaining about some of his customers.. I was mind blown listening to him because "those customers" are the reason why he makes money and has a roof over his head. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a nail salon !! I went in yesterday to have my gel x set removed and add an acrylic set. I got there a little before my apt, and Fiona started the removal process. She made me put my hands in a bowl with no acetone (I told her the bowl was empty, no prob, she forgot to add the acetone, stuff happens but it could have been because she was watching something on her phone. Whatever, not a big deal since I'm just soaking off. The problem was with Joe. So he's doing my nails and he cuts me while he tucks in my natural nail TWICE!!! I said something the first time, then second time he was a bit more careful but clearly NOT enough because I told him my skin burns when he was adding the purple liquid to my acrylic. He said it was because my nails were in the acetone during soak off. And I replied well they were fine when I walked in here and Fionna removed them. I should have just left then because HE CUTS ME AGAIN FOR THE 3rd time while he files the nail !!!! At this point I'm already fed up and in pain. I should have gotten up and walked out even if my nails were half done without paying ( I still paid and stayed btw) I tell him he cut me again and proceeds to add nail glue to my cuts!!! I tell him no, I don't want to get an infection and he says the glue will seal the cut -_- I waited to post this review incase I got an infection. Thank god I didnt but that's probably because I soaked my hands in peroxide and neospoarin as soon as I got home. Mind you he was on the phone majority of my nail service and didn't bother to hang up the call until the 3rd cut. My advice to you if u decide to give this place a shot, have them HANG UP THEIR PHONE CALLS and ask them NOT to watch shows on their phones while doing YOUR nails, a paying costumer. Looking back, I should have said something about that immediately but I didn't. That's my fault. MAYBE he would have focused on my nails instead of gossiping on the phone. Also, my cuts were more "red" then the pictures show because he added the "nail glue " to them to "seal The cut". Today's the next day and I still have glue on them and scared to peel it off. It's unfortunate it came to this. I have been coming here for awhile and this ain't the first time this has happened with the nail artist running behind or late to get to the nail salon. My appointment was at 2:30 i was seen at 3:10, i understand things happen and u can run behind but not even addressing me letting me know you will be with me shortly, or say hello or anything when walking in is rude and unprofessional. No apology for running late when asked to come to the chair, and still rude when i had to say no to a full set because i was tight on time waiting around for my 2:30 appointment. So dissatisfied with how my nails came out :( I asked for acrylic overlay with dip powder and when the nail tech was done with the dip powder she left them so weirdly shaped and bumpy even after filing. My nails basically look like duck nail shape when I asked for square. I think she is a beginner at nails. She was very nice but I did have to correct her a few times. I can't believe I still had to pay $50 for this mess. Even the gel polish and French tip are uneven. Honestly I liked them at first but now I relaized it's really not worth it I only went here for two reasons : one my cowoker goes all the time and has the prettiest nail set two it's littery 3 mins away from my house The first time I went, I actually loved my nails they were gorgeous, the guy who did them however I won't lie was lowkey rude. I don't like getting my nails that long due to work and because I have to be on my MacBook for school. He was like theses are shorter then the picture you showed me. Umm okay...just because I show you a picture doesn't mean I want that exact length but whatever. Orginally he was going to charge me $95 ended up being $75 okay whatever it's fine. Took picture of my set, never posted whatever I really don't care about that. What upset me and why I just don't want to go back is what happened couple weeks ago with the owner. Si i called on Monday November 22 in the morning to book an appointment for Wednesday because thanksgiving was the next day. I didn't want anything special just a simple ombré set. I call the guy who answer was the guy who did my nails, he took down my name and phone number and said will call you back. Okay no worries...never called uhh okay so I thought okay I have an appointment. I show up on Wednesday afternoon at 12 because that was my time and it was booked. I wasn't surprised obviously it's busy the day before the holiday more then obvious. They look at me and the guy who did my nails said Can we help you and I'm yes I'm actually here for my appointment right now at 12. The guy looked all confused and said I'm sorry what? I said yes I called on Monday someone took my name phone number down the guy comes over to the desk looks at the book and is all confused. That's when the owner comes and he explains to her and she likes Im sorry but you don't have an appointment no one has you down. I didn't give attitude I work in retail I've worked in food I know what's rude. I was like what do you mean I don't? The owner was like yeah you don't have one, I was like I swear I called and she gave me attitude and said well did you call the right salon? I was like yes I did I showed her the phone number which was Theres the time and date the phone call was taken at. She gets all quiet and I said look I don't mind waiting and she's like well we're booked today so I don't know if we can. She ended up letting me stay and wait because I told her I didn't want a design I just wanted an ombré set simple. During the process I didn't wait that long roughly 20 mins. When she cut the nails and was going to start the powered she gave like a smart comment towards me saying "this was the exact same length you had your other ones I thought you wanted them longer". I personally took that because I don't think it's an any nail tech right to tell someone that. You don't know why I get them that length for a reason or anything about me to make a remark like that. I felt she rushed my set. They weren't coffin at all I've been to other nail salons were even they are short they shape them as much as possible. I felt that this nail salon is very like discriminative towards people who look like they don't have money. Which is wrong, I showed up in jeans and a tshirt with a small bag. The two times I went I relaized how they treated others that looked in a way nicer appearance can be said towards someone who just comes in a simple look. I tried this place once and it was ok. A bit pricey and the nails weren't even that good. I tried it because we live nearby. I went back again for a pedicure and they said they were busy and there were only 2 workers and like 3 people on the chair. Spaces were empty still and I didn't mind waiting but they told me they were busy for the rest of the day to go back another day. Strike 1 I went back like a month later right when they opened at 10:00 there were 2 workers and they were both working on some pedicures and again chairs were wide open. They told me they were busy all morning until maybe about 1/2 pm. I said forget it. Never going back to this place. They shouldn't advertise walk ins if they are always busy. read more

I love this place!!!! Fiona always deals with my indecisiveness and is always sweet and professional. I always leave satisfied and in love with my nails every time. I've tried so many nail salons and nail techs in the past but once I met Fiona I won't go to anyone else! She takes her time never rushed. If there is anything that I don't like she doesn't have a problem fixing it. When she was on maternity leave, Joe was doing my nails and he is also very good. My recommendation to anyone that had a "bad experience" is to make an appointment, be on time, be considerate, polite and respectful at any place where you "expect" good service. You can't go into any place with the sense of entitlement and treat people rudely and then complain when someone doesn't want to deal with you. I am very OCD when it comes to my nails and never had a problem with any nail techs when I tell them, because I am always polite and respectful. Also, if you have a problem with cost, go to cheap nail salons. You can't get quality nails cheap, or expect the best nails when you don't want to pay. If you're on a budget that's fine let them know and just make sure YOU ASK the cost of anything that your requesting, nothing is free. I don't even know where to start, so I had an appointment today at 2:30 to get a full set. I showed on time and even 15 minutes early just to still have to wait for then NailTec Joe. So I showed Joe a picture of what I was looking for to get done on my nails, and he said he could do it well to make a long story short my nails look look like shit. So as I sat in my car I'm looking at my nails and I realize there's a lot wrong with my nails, so being that I paid $150 to get a pedicure and full-set I thought I had to go back to get my nails fixed, I just was not happy! So I politely went back in and ask Joe to step outside to see my nails in the natural light And ask him politely if he can please fix them, well let me tell you Joe is a man that does not take criticism or except that he did a crappy, sloppy job on someone's nails. Although he tried to stay calm he was very aggressive with my hand and was making unnecessary comments so I pulled my hand away and I decided to wait for Fiona his wife to fix them, but the saddest thing here is that even his wife Fiona was afraid of him because he didn't allow her to fix my nails and made her give me a refund. Joe is a type of man that belittles women. !!!Well you mess with the wrong woman because this woman also could defend herself and has a husband to defend her and for all the women that were getting their nails done in there today you guys don't have to kiss their ass they're not the only nail shop around because I'm sure if he would've done the type of job he did on my nails on yours you would've done the same thing, Unless you're an idiot and dont want to speck up and complain, now that something else. So anyway yes my husband showed up and let him know that he needs to respect women. And at the end Fiona and Joe called the cops on us but to their surprise nothing was done, it's seem to me that this wasn't the first time they called the cops on their customers because it seem like the cops already know this location and all they said was "it seems to us you have to find a new nail shop" so as we walked away laughing at Joe, Fiona and all them dumb ass women in there shop for defending them, because they thought that we were afraid of the cops.... hahahahaha! Psych! We had nothing to fear, We done nothing wrong, all they did was waste the police officers time and tax payers money, And it wasn't only one cop car it was about 7 cop cars that showed up And it was all because Joe is a male chauvinist pig. Moral of the story is don't disrespect anyone. Because you don't know who they are or where they come from. Unfortunately I'm new to the area and the pictures looked good. He had quoted me 60$ for the set and at the end of the service up charged me 80$ for a French set. I'm new to California and have had poor experiences in the fancy neighborhoods twice. This time I turned to Instagram and found this place...what a fantastic decision. I made an appointment for 3pm on a Monday. I walked in and was escorted straight to a chair immediately. My nails were in terrible shape when I walked in and I was unsure if they could salvage them as they were paper thin, short, and had gel residue on them from the previous salon. I wanted a nude color but as an African American, nudes can be difficult to find. They're either too pink or not nude enough for darker skin tones. They matched my nails perfectly and took their time with me when I was being indecisive about my pedicure color. The manicurist (an older male) and pedicurist (older woman) made me feel comfortable enough to ask all my questions. I wish I'd gotten their names. They finished in under an hour and still had time to do my brows (thanks Kylie). All this for $76 and I was utterly shocked by the great price! I also appreciated Kylie being honest about my questions regarding brow care. You guys definitely have a new customer in me! I strongly recommend this place. read more

I walked in to Dazzle Nails & Lashes today at around 2:00 with NO APPOINTMENT. Fiona greeted me and was very accommodating. She explained that appointments are not required, but service is limited due to the pandemic. I was originally only going to have my nails filled, but they were able to accommodate me with a pedicure as well, so I gladly accepted! Spring is approaching and it's heating up, so sandals are a MUST. First impression of the service: 5 stars. Selene took me over to the chair farthest from the door, turned on the massage chair and then pulled a placo glass egg over the chair to protect us from one another. That alone was worth a 5 star rating. Other places are overcrowded and cramped and some places don't even follow minimum guidelines, but Fiona and Joe got it right! Their place is clean, they do great work, offer fabulous service and care enough to put people over profits. In a pandemic, their business has struggled, but they follow guidelines and protect themselves and others. For that they will be my go-to salon. Next time for sure I'll be making an appointment -- especially since it is only down the block from my home. My mom, aunt and I have been coming here for a couple of months now. Their work is great BUT the owner, Fiona's attitude is not the way. We've been coming back because we love their work and were recommended by Lisa who used to work at top line but moved here after their old place burned down. She went off on me saying that her customers are always rude and she said "why do customers always have to tell me that if I don't want to do it I don't have to". Well maybe it's because she's always sounds MAD AND replies in a RUDE way. I was never rude to her in any way and didn't raise my voice. If she has some kinds of issues at home, she need to learn to keep it home. i want to start off by saying that i was really looking forward to getting my nails done here . i had heard good things about this salon and was willing to try it out . first , i had called and no one picked up and i had called three times all at different times . then i had went in the next morning right when they open and the lady working the front was not welcoming at all . she had begun saying that she "had no room for us but that she'd check if there's room for us ." she then puts her focus on the other lady that was in the room with us waiting to get her nails done and telling this girl she has no appointment . the girl had told her she had spoken to a man and said that the appointment was confirmed with Fiona & the front desk lady began giving the other girl attitude saying that she's the only one who picks up the phone and saying "no man , no appointment" i felt bad for this girl . then the front desk just looks at us and says "no room for u , have a nice day!" so my sister and i left with a weird vibe but they need a better system for appointments . online booking or something . front desk lady also needs to be nicer . not sure if the front desk lady is the owner , that's what i was told , but as an owner , you should know how to deal with customer service . i am in the customer service industry myself and have never felt this uncomfortable. read more
