They had great flavor, and were dense but not overly so (I say that as a compliment, the old-fashioned ones need to be a bit dense IMO.) The newest location in the West Plaza neighborhood is such a great addition to the neighborhood and is a great place to relax and eat or work while enjoying goodies and drinks! I took my parents to the Bodega (and they're already HUGE fans of Blackhole), and we were not disappointed. So many pastries, which we love! But also, they have a selection of shelf-stable and refrigerated goods that you can peruse as you walk up to the counter. AND as you get up to the counter, you also notice the selection of coffee beverages and other beverages (I had a blueberry lemonade! Yum!), and some great looking breakfast sandwiches! My parents and I couldn't get past the pastries, so I'm looking forward to grabbing one of those breakfast crunch wraps next time I'm over there! As always, the staff were so helpful in letting us know the special elements of the menus and the recommendations! After we ordered, we plopped down at one of the tables and enjoyed our delicious choices. The interior is inviting and includes one of those giant garage doors that they open on nice days!
