Then we tried this little place in Walden village, Ming Jie's house. So far, everything we've tried from them is excellent! Not only that but they're polite, they deliver, they never screwed up our order and if you go to pick up, they're not cheap with their condiments and fortune cookies. They leave them out for you to take whatever you need. I highly recommend this place. By the way, you can dine in. They have a small dining room..... not the prettiest. There's a wall that looks unfinished from when they had to make provisions during the pandemic, and they never took it down. Also, they serve you with paper plates and plastic utensils...... weird but who cares, their food is very good! And when you special order, they do it.

During our meal, our waiter was extremely rude, dismissive, and seemed to have an attitude when we made a simple request for hot tea. When we had the nerve to ask for extra noodles and duck sauce, her annoyance was even more clearly on display. We were perplexed perhaps she had a bad experience with a previous customer earlier, but we certainly didn't come in to enjoy a date only to suffer the repercussions of someone else's bad experience. The service was so terrible that it left us feeling completely undervalued as customers. To make matters worse, the food was just so-so certainly not good enough to make up for such poor hospitality. We will be taking our business elsewhere in search of a restaurant that values its patrons and provides a welcoming experience.

The orange chicken had a good crunch and a solid kick when I asked for it spicy, though the sauce leaned a little heavy on sweetness. The portion was fair for the price, and the service was quick and friendly. Still, it's a simple, no-frills takeout spot with mixed consistency. The dining area feels dated, and while I was happy to see they even offer Pad Thai on the menu, this place shines best when you stick to the classic Chinese-American staples. Overall, decent meal, decent price -- a solid 3 out of 5 stars.

Definitely I will. So the warm Dan Dan noodles were good, well spiced, but not overwhelming and noodles themselves were chewy. Sizzling shrimp, first huge jumbo shrimp so very generous on portions, plus cooked just right and bathe completely in the sauce, plenty of diced onions and peppers and mildly spicy over all. Chicken in chili oil was my favorite, I mean a whole cut chicken fit in that container, both white and dark meat, was tender and moist, plus the chili oil was just right spicy level without being assertive. This place I find special considering it's more of authentic Chinese cuisine rather than the typical Americanized version, that alone is a big draw for this place.

Not only are they OPEN, but dang it the food is GREAT!!! If you're not sold yet, they are also serving drinks (to go of course) as they are also a bar! As busy as they are now, I was agreed at the moment I walked in and was able to place my order fairly quickly considering the phone lines just kept ringing and people kept coming in. I ordered my drinks to take with me which were two Allman joys based off a comment I saw someone posted in a local Facebook group about. The owner, Larry himself came out probably 10 minutes later to make my drinks and he was literally the friendliest, down to earth guy I have met in a while. It was about a 30 minute wait for food but that is to be expected as when you find a Chinese restaurant open now during quarantine they normally have long lines and a long wait. What I have to say I really loved about this place was while I was waiting for my food and number of locals came in to purchase drinks or even small items like soup and eggrolls simply to make sure they supported the small businesses of the community during this time. Now, on to the food.... As you can see in the pictures, everything looked great! The shrimp was fresh, my kids loved the chicken & fried rice well and overall great quality food! I will definitely be going back here again before the quarantine is over and after (when we're all allowed out again).

From the start, our waiter was completely inattentive and dismissive. When we made a simple request for extra noodles and duck sauce, he acted as if we were bothering him. It was obvious throughout the evening that he was prioritizing larger tables, likely assuming he would land a bigger tip from them. What he failed to realize is that my husband is a generous tipper who typically leaves well over 20%. The service was so terrible this time that my husband left a note on the napkin letting him know we would have tipped much more had he been kinder to us. The food itself was mediocre, but the lack of basic hospitality made us feel completely undervalued as regular customers. We are actively searching for a new local spot to patronize instead.

Food comes out as it's ready, but everyone's meals were timed well to each other. Starting with drinks, I ordered the tom yam siam cocktail and was NOT a fan. Others orders included the mango mule, mango lassi, and thai iced tea, and they all loved their drinks, so I think I just chose a bad item. The samosas had a perfect, crispy shell, and the aloo paratha was warm, stuffed goodness. It paired well with the murg amwala I ordered, which turned out to be the best Indian curry I've ever had. Had to get someone attention to order in, kind of weird but it was fast enough. So when The guy was showing me the menu, was cool of him to make suggestions since first time for me, he did jokingly say the end part of menu is popular since the Americanized Chinese food, I laughed and am like nah am here for the traditional, he give his suggestions in the traditional menu of what's popular, but I settled on beef ribs, white rice, pork dumplings and strawberry boba slush. For the drink, it was very refreshing and just the right amount of sweet, though I wish it had strawberry boba over the tapioca pearls. The pork dumplings were piping hot and very fresh, plenty of filling inside and not greasy. The dipping sauce was tangy and very vinegary forward, definitely a flavor trip. The beef ribs, were so melt in your mouth tender and flavorful, I really like gravy type sauce it was bathed in and really great ladled on the rice. Do wish I had more ribs though, since definitely the part of the meal, plus the plate it comes on, sells the meal. I did really appreciate how kind the people were here and very friendly as well.
