This has to be the best Chinese Food in the Hudson Valley and one that can be put against any in New York City (coming from someone who grew up there)! The General Tso's chicken is crispy with a great sauce and the fried chicken wings are seasoned down to the bone (something I have not experienced in any Chinese Food spot and rarely at any other establishment)!!!! The crab rangoons are excellent as is the fried rice. We tried the Pepper Steak and thar was great as well. Lastly, the lady that takes the orders and rings you up is very nice and friendly. You will not be disappointed trying this place...we ditched out usual Chinese Food store for this store (which has good food) and have not looked back! read more

The tables are sticky... curtains are very dirty and food was delayed. This place was definitely destroyed with garbage, the bathrooms have been out of order for the longest time. There was a pan under the table while my friends and I were eating, and they charged my ten year old brother a tip of $6.00 telling him write 6 dollars under the tips. She was rude to my 10 year old brother's friend when he spilled Pepsi on the table on accident. The duck sauce was all over the place and overall I rate this place a zero, only one person was there. Egg rolls are a disgrace; they are filled with cabbage only. No pork, no scallion, nothing else. The roast pork mai fun is delicious. This was my go to place but I have been disappointed each time I order egg rolls. Service is good. Egg Rolls will not be ordered again. Shrimp in lobster sauce is generally my go to and it's made well here but after trying this restaurant's sesame shrimp , that is now my favorite. If you are looking for a restaurant with ambiance, this is not the one as it is primarily a takeout place. Just don't expect good egg rolls, I mean cabbage rolls. read more

dragon city is not the prettiest on the inside and better as take out then dine in for sure. beside the inside disclaimer, the cashier behind the counter greeted me politely and when I said I need more time to go though the menu she said take your time and ring the bell when your ready, which was nice, no pressure. I ordered The triple with garlic sauce, and one fantail fried shrimp. the food was rather quickly made and when I asked for chopsticks and hot oil, the cashier give me without issue and thanked me for my order as I left. with the Triple with garlic sauce, I found the lobster meat which looked like the tail meat, a bit chewy, but well seasoned in the sauce. I found the shrimps tender and not robbery. the scallops, were fresh and tender, but I wish it was more whole pieces of scallops rather then it looking like 2 pieces of scallops were cut into 1/4 slices to appear like their is a lot. garlic sauce was thick and flavorful and tasted even better with the hot oil added, the vegetables in the sauce were all fresh and evenly cut, not wilted. The fantail shrimp I appreciate the fact they evenly cut the shrimp down the middle so looked more shrimp to tempura batter ratio. it was slightly crispy. a great place in my opinion if your in the area for takeout. also another note, I found their lunch special combinations way cheaper then most places, I mean 5.65$ for all items is great, most places its $6+ read more

When we opened our meal boxes it was a pleasant surprise !! It seems lots of restaurants giving less even though charging more , not the case here . The boneless ribs have a delicious smoked all day kind of taste -addictive . My shrimp (Big shrimp not salad shrimp ) & broccoli dinner was excellent. My husband's chicken and cashew dinner was yummy & filling but he said it could've used more chicken but looked and tasted good that's fine I'll ask for extra chicken next time . Amazing Shrimp toast& served with lemon slices-how nice !! Egg rolls were so good, the fried rice is not greasy but not filled with veggies but for the amount of food we got, flavor and fair prices it's ok . Dragon city is the only Chinese restaurant we go to. It is the best we had in a long time. Always great tasting food and great service. Very friendly and curtious owners and delivery man. Apparently Dragon City is pretty new, but the interior is grubby and uninviting and I'd believe you if you told me it'd been there for decades. I had the Hunan Style Duck which was just awful; horribly overdone slabs of duck breast with a strange yellow stuff encrusted onto it, sitting on a pile of the usual veg smothered in a bland, one-note sauce. My wife had the Sesame Chicken which wasn't too bad, but nothing above average. One star for being very quick and very cheap (two portions of fried dumplings, Hunan Duck with rice, Sesame Chicken with pork fried rice, an egg roll, a large side of brown rice, a bunch of fortune cookies and dipping sauces etc, enough for about six easily-pleased people, took ten minutes and was $34) and one star for being in a handy location, and that's that. If it's an emergency, leave your tastebuds at the door and chalk this up as a possibility. Oh, and I wouldn't consider this part of my review, but this is where I got the most depressing fortune cookie ever: "Courage comes through suffering". Really?! read more

As like most restaurants I wish it was cleaner but the owner is friendly and the food is good. It happens to be in my home town so is a great option when I want quick cheap food. Dragon City has the best Chinese food in the area. The inside may not be the cleanest or friendliest looking place, but when I'm ordering takeout Chinese food that's not exactly an area I'm looking at in terms of quality. If the cleanliness of the interior is a concern to you, look elsewhere. But I can assure you their food is great. the small bits of fried chicken that you'd usually see in a Sesame chicken or General Tso's chicken order are always full pieces of meat, and not just the chewy skin pieces or whatever the hell else it is that other local places use. It's fully meat, and delicious. If you want something that's traditionally on a Chinese food joint's menu but isn't on theirs, just ask and they will make it. When it first opened we enjoyed the food. Then the place got dirtier and dirtier. We had to stop going good there. Just look at the air vent right above the register where you stand to pay. It says it all. Please clean this place up or you will lose most of your business. read more

I wish I didn't have to give this place one star. The woman working was really nice. However, the meat was cold. I should have known better than to keep eating. Later that night and the entire next day I and the individual I went with had horrible stomach issues. It was awful. Besides that the place was dirty. The bathroom was broken.
