My husband and I enjoyed the fact that Don asked us questions about our likes and dislikes before our tasting. He then poured accordingly. The wine we tasted was delicious. Don went into detail about the making of his wines and after many years in the business he definitely know what he's doing! We purchased two bottles to take home and enjoy. It is a short 5 min walk up a gravel/dirt road from the small parking area to the tasting area so ladies may want to avoid heels (our sandals were just fine). The couple that owns the winery were so personable, loved that he brought out each of the tastings and chatted with us about the wine & farm origins, while his wife made the biscotti & gave us all samples to try - yum! The tasting was so reasonably priced and I couldn't believe a personal charcuterie board was included too. Of course, the wine was all very good and we purchased some bottles to take home. Upon walking in I noticed the case that house some of the BTAC bottles you don't see everywhere and then the large wall of great bourbons. The gentleman working the counter was very nice and answered all of our pricing questions and even went above and beyond to call his son to get some pricing questions answered for us. Getting to the point here, walking up to this unassuming shop you would not expect too much but we left with bottles of Eagle Rare, weller 12 year and an Elijah Craig Store Pick that was out of this world for a great price. Thank you for your help and I look forward to coming back the next time I am in town.
