I was locked out of my standalone garage because of a power problem with the door opener. A way to…read moreget in was to break a window. I called Residential Glass about repairing it after I broke it. They were busy but told me not to break anything and that they would stop by in a few minutes, Jeff and crew had just finished a job in the neighborhood. They arrived and discovered that a door that had been "sealed" could be pried open. So they pried it open and I got into the garage. They then refused to take any money. Spending a few minutes helping someone who needed it was enough compensation for them. Needless to say they will be my first call for any glass work in the future and I will recommend them every chance I get.

I can't say enough good things about Rays. They've done service on our class A RV for a few years,…read moreand as we've recommended to friends, they are happy too. The work is done timely and efficiently. The mechanics know their stuff. They go above and beyond. Recently we had a bigger repair come up that was an "RV warranty" issue. I'd like to give a huge shout out to Amy for going to bat for us and getting results. Not only was she on point, and training a less experienced technician, our bus was ready 2 days earlier. My brothers own a shop and I run everything by them. They said they wouldn't be able to do things for much less than Rays does (and that means I'm not paying labor with them).

The customer service was outstanding--Amy shined like a polished diamond. She was friendly, informative, and efficient, and she kept me updated every step of the way with clear explanations of what needed to be done and why. I also really appreciated that the owner was directly involved in the repairs and took the time to walk me through everything in a way I could understand (I'm not technical at all). If you want honest work, great communication, and people who genuinely care, I highly recommend Ray's Automotive--this will be my first call the next time my Jeep needs service.

After reading…read morethe reviews on Yelp decided to try Orange County Garage as they're only about 10 minutes away from our home. What a brilliant place! We dropped the car off Sunday night, left the key in a secure lock box. No fuss no muss. The lady called before 8.30 the next day to tell us what needed doing and the price. It was so reasonable. Have them the okay to proceed with the work and it was all finished by 10.30! So efficient were they that we missed their call and didn't actually pick the car up until the next day! When my husband went to collect the car the owner came out and introduced himself and thanked us for our business. The car is running great, brakes work again (always a bonus) and we are thrilled with this gem of a find! Will be using Orange County Garage from now on.

Eddins ( now Madison) Ford has been great to work with and has a terrific service department. I…read morehave a 2003 F-250 that is regularly serviced by this dealer. Unlike many big city dealers, and unfortunately another dealer in Culpeper, Madison Ford is scrupulous honest. They do what is required for a fair price, and don't add on unnecessary work to meet some kind of monthly service revenue quota. Madison Ford is especially helpful in taking care of older vehicles. I had another big city Ford dealer tell me that they refused to work on any Ford over 10 years old! Madison is small enough that word gets around on how businesses treat their customers. I will definitely choose to buy from Madison Ford when I need a new truck!

POTENTIAL FRAUD ALERT…read more I took my vehicle to Madison Ford at the end of September for service. At minimum they should have changed my oil, rotated my tires, filled my tires, and filled my fluids. None of those things occurred. The excuses they provided for not providing service were so ridiculous that a middle schoolers could see through their lies.

I felt compelled to share how much care and courtesy their team member, Nelson, showed me during two separate car issues. My elderly parents live in Culpeper, and I visit them every weekend. The first time we met Nelson, our car needed air. My husband and I went to three different gas stations (including the nearby 7-Eleven) and none of the pumps worked. We pulled into Car Doctor, and Nelson kindly drove our car into the garage to fill the tires. He completely refused to take any money for it. Just a few weeks later on a Friday after 5:00 PM, I was driving into town when I heard a loud pop followed by a heavy humming noise. A plastic panel on the bottom of my Prius had broken off and was dragging on the road. Even though the technicians had already gone home for the weekend, Nelson was still there. He immediately identified the problem, pulled the car in, and cut off the broken piece to create a safe, short-term fix. Once again, he refused to take a single dime! Just when I was losing faith in humanity, an honest, kind, and caring person like Nelson reminded me that great people still exist. This is small-town community care at its absolute best. While I was there, I also noticed the shop area was completely immaculate. I will definitely be bringing both my car and my parents' car here for all future services. I look forward to giving them my business!
