David's restaurant is a hidden gem in South Brooklyn. Kosher Mediterranean cuisine inspired by local accents so full of flavor! Robbie, the owner is absolutely incredible, makes you feel welcomed every time you come in. He creates family like atmosphere while delivering perfect meals. The food is always fresh and consistent.

Davids is small but I recommend going with a big appetite. This Israeli restaurant which has been around for over 50 years is easily one of the pioneers when it comes to serving Israeli meat dishes. The entrees are all delicious and fairly priced and they all come with two sides. I personally recommend getting both the rice and the beans which creates the ultimate side dish. However, one thing is certain, if you come to Davids the Hummus and Tehina should be mandatory. Overall, Davids is a modest looking place with a variety of Israeli foods.

The food is outstanding! I immediately felt as if I were in Israel with the freshness and authenticity of the flavors!

Food: Amazing! It's fresh and there's that homemade taste! Place: The place is small, but I noticed that many people get takeout, so for a week lunch it was ok. Service: It was great. The lady gave us a good suggestion for the appetizers and brought us a huge pitcher of water. Notes: This is already one of my favorite kosher restaurants in NYC. It reminds me a restaurant called Z Deli, located in São Paulo, Brazil, where I used to go when I lived there. The food in both places tastes so similar, that made me feel a bit nostalgic, even the saltiness was the same. Yes, the food is a bit salty, but I don't mind it once in a while. Actually, all grandma's food seems to be a bit salty. All food is fresh and homemade though!! I'll certainly recommend and return to this place.

The reason this restaurant is still thriving after all these years is a testament to the family that runs it. Delicious, clean and fresh.

When we arrived, we were surprised to see that it was a more formal setting as we were looking for something more of a quick takeout type of place. The restaurant is very nice, it has two dining room rooms and sit down service only for the dining rooms. We were approached immediately and sat down at a table by the window. When we explain to the waitress what we were looking for she let us know that we would be able to order gyros or wraps. We ordered two chicken wraps, and one lamb wrap, as well as lamacune. The wraps came with french fries, they were tasty and they came with a white yogurt sauce on the side. The Turkish pizza (lamacune) was delicious, each order has three pieces. The waitress brought us, complementary, hummus and yogurt sauce along with their fresh bread as a starter. Overall, the experience was good and I would go back to this restaurant if I am in the area.

The quality of their food has always been top notch and honestly is my favorite spot for a Turkish meal. Their hummus and basically all their skewers, kababs and grilled meats are simply amazing. Fast forward, I haven't gone to Taci's Beyti for over a year and I just recently went for our anniversary dinner over the weekend. Place still felt the same, so I ordered my hummus, mixed grill and the chicken kebab for the misses. When The entrees arrived, I was a bit disappointed. They seem to have changed what use to come with their main entrees. Gone is the bed of thinly sliced onions under your meats, so is the roasted pepper and also the roasted tomato. Three items I actually enjoyed having with my entree. They also changed the pita under the meats as well but they replaced it with a very sad salad instead, with no dressing or even a vinaigrette at that. Just plain dry leaves with some red onions. They also have two prices now, one for cash and one for credit, the cost has gone up (which I understand) but they've also cut the portions and what use to come with it. Yes the food is still good but after that last trip I am rethinking about ever going back. I am disappointed that either through choice, greed, or whatever they decided to cut back. Time to scout and try some other Turkish restaurants in the boroughs I suppose, and no I am not leaving a one star review, their food quality and taste hasn't changed. I am just very disappointed.

I like the salad bar that has all the offering. The beef kofta was good, but a bit under seasoned as well as the chicken samosa. Beef kofta and lamb over rice tasted a bit healthier by using leaner meat, hence a nicer texture. The chicken tikka was a bit dry and under seasoned as well. I really enjoyed the rice and salad that went along with the meal. The lamb over rice was better tasting than the usually halal cart. I really enjoyed the sauce that was put on the side to go with my meal. I was a bit sad when the beef kofta and chicken tikka didn't come with bread. I will come back for healthier halal option. The gyro meat was soft and tasty, rice was seasoned and fluffy. The pickled veggies were delicious and perfect to cut down on the heaviness of the meal. The spinach salad was the other appetizer and it was decent too. For the main course, I had the calmari and it was 3/5. All in all, the food was decent (3/5). The service was very good. But I didn't like a few things - first, it was hard to find. Second - there aren't enough restrooms, which created long lines. The broth was so rich and good especially with the smooth wrappers essentially acting as noodles. The meat was too much for two people though so we took it home.
