Wow amazingly good. Home fries, loaded with veggies and great seasoning. Veggie omelette was packed and really good too. Prices are reasonable, and service was good and friendly. We came here for a friend's bachelorette pre-celebration so a bit out of my usual way, but I would definitely try it again and would recommend it to others. If you area and need breakfast please try it!! Lunch looks good too.

American Patriots! Not only the best diner I've ever visited, these guys are true Americans. The restaurant is adorned with flags and eagles and patriotic themed. Touted as in the top 5 in America. It was busy as expected and they have coffee and a heated tent outside to wait in.. it's worth the wait.. Eat there.

I went to David's for the first time with my friend who frequents the diner. She told me ahead of time that the portions are hearty and the sausage is homemade. They had a decently sized breakfast menu with plenty of side options to add on if you'd like. I definitely want to try some of their pancakes the next time I'm over there. Our server notified us of the morning special which consisted of one piece of French toast, 2 eggs your way, and either sausage or bacon. Hmmm, decisions decisions... I went with the veggie omelette and added on a side of sausage. The diner is small but cozy. Our server was quick and friendly. All of the servers stayed on top of my coffee cup, ready to pour at the sight of it only being half full. Our food arrived and I simply didn't know where to start. My omelette came with home fries and FOUR pieces of toast. I was full but definitely wanted to keep eating as everything was really tasty.

    Ray rays trash plate. Yummy!!!!

This place was great. Kind, nice people working. Fast service and great food. I stopped by when visiting Pittsburgh. I had the ray rays trash plate. Eggs, bacon and home fried smothered in chili. It was wonderful. Potatoes cooked perfect with a little crispness. Eggs and bacon perfectly cooked. The chili was good. Not what I expected but very good. Try it!!?

Home away from home. Denise, Lisa, and Mary work wonders. You won't go home hungry. Stuffed French toast is the best!

My husband and I ate one breakfast here on a Saturday morning. An employee immediately and courteously greeted us and seated us at a clean and spacious table. Soon she took our order and brought out our drinks and foods. At the end of the meal, she promptly processed our payment and thanked us. Here are my ratings for what my husband and I ate: Turkish Plate - 4.5 stars - I think that Gino might be Turkish, and this entree was one of the few Turkish menu items. It consisted of scrambled eggs, black olives, two cheeses, sliced tomato and cucumber, French fries, toasted bread, jelly, honey, and butter. Fruit Tea Waffle - 5 stars - A waffle was topped with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and powdered sugar. The fruits were very fresh, abundant, and sweet. On the side was whipped cream. Egg-bacon Omelet - 4 stars - My husband ate this omelet, and he thought that it tasted good. It was a good size, and it contained bacon, onions, and mozzarella cheese. On the side were three plain pancakes. Orange juice - 4.5 stars - This orange juice contained some purple and tasted fresh.

This locally owned and operated spot is located in the River Town Shopping Center at 148 Allegheny River Boulevard, Freedom Square Diner is a staple for locals in Verona, and the whole area. They opened in 2013, expanding from its original Cranberry Township location, and has since carved out a niche by focusing on breakfast and lunch with a warm, community-centered approach that works. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed and the cozy coffee counter near the entrance adds to the charm. The place is busy but still friendly and familiar, I mean I love a diner vibe ! The menu is extensive and IMO breakfast is the star of the show, with standout items like the Create Your Own Omelette, the Hungryman Breakfast off a nice spread of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and home fries, that's what Matt O. had and he's now a fan. I had the Nutella French Toast that was like a homage to Elvis with bananas, strawberries and lots of sweet goodness, it was special! I also got a side of sausage gravy and biscuit to share, and these Yinzers actually nailed this Southern favorite. For lunch, the Whale of a Fish Sandwich is a big favorite here, it's hand-breaded haddock on a hoagie roll with tartar sauce and fries. Other popular dishes include the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, the Steak Salad with garlic-marinated filet, and the Mushroom Swiss Burger with crispy fries. They even have Homemade clam chowder, I will definitely scope that out on my next visit. The diner has wheelchair-accessible entrances, outdoor dining, takeout, and offers a veterans discount, gotta love it! Bottom line: Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a nostalgic lunch, or just a good cup of coffee in a welcoming setting, Freedom Square Diner delivers. Good food, great service in a welcoming environment, it's highly recommended!!! Hours: Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

We placed our order at a counter, paid upfront, and then were given our drink and a number to take to a table of our choosing. The weather on that day was very rainy, so we sat inside the greenhouse rather than outside, and the employees carried our foods over in containers with lids. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Peach Berry Stuffed French Toast - 4.5 stars - This was a weekend special. Challah French toast was stuffed with lemon mascarpone, peaches, and mixed-berry compote. It had a large serving size and a nice mixture of sweet and sour flavors. Bloom Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad contained mixed greens, sliced apple, dried cherries, candied pecans, gorgonzola, red onion, and maple balsamic dressing. Blue cheese is not my favorite, but I enjoyed the freshness and flavors of the other ingredients. Breakfast Egg Sandwich Croissant - 4.5 stars - This sandwich consisted of a croissant filled with two eggs, cheese, and three strips of crispy bacon. On the side was a basic salad with dressing. My husband did not like how the salad dressing got on his sandwich. Chai Latte - 4.5 stars - This Rishi Masala chai concentrate with steamed milk tasted very good. The total price for these three foods and one drink was $49 plus a tip. Afterward, we explored the market and gardening center. Available for purchase were jewelry, flower pots, many types of indoor and outdoor plants, and much more. Two employees kindly offered me assistance with the plants.
