I don't know where to start-I guess my first experience is a great place and it was for MY wedding :) I had preordered a dress about a year before my wedding date..i tried it on once but it just didn't make me feel pretty. I was headed toward losing some weight so I figured it was just that because it was so beautiful on the model-I Thought after I lost the weight I would love it. Well my fitting came up way closer to my wedding date and no matter what we did to pull it in as I had lost 2 dress sizes-I just didn't feel like it was the one. I went home that night sad and called and panicked the next day wanting a new dress. Rather than acting annoyed with me everyone who worked with me was amazing! They treated me as if it were my first time there to pick the right dress and went through several dresses with smiles until the manager found me THE dress. I put it on, it fit like a glove, and it was the ONE!! They had it ready for me to pick up which didn't give them much time but it was ready and I felt perfect on my day. My maid of honor (sister) had seen how amazing they were so we went there once Again for her wedding :) they were great, she'd picked the perfect dress, but just like me something happened last minute...she ended up needing her dress let out 2" very very last minute and again, they were heroes! Had it done and were so nice about the whole thing. Now I have a friend getting married and she too is going through them because of how they treated us. She has had a great experience so far, and I know she will feel like the perfect bride on her day just like my sister and I did -in huge thanks to David's bridal. read more

I had the most AMAZING experience with Bridget in Springfield. Let me give a little history. My 1st experience dress shopping at a different bridal shop was horrific, so I came there a week later terrified that it might be the same because I am a little larger in size. From the moment I walked it and was greeted about my appt it was a happy feeling as they checked me in and introduced me to Bridget. She asked a few questions and off we went to shop. I tried on a couple and she would ask questions and with each dress kept getting even better. She brought me a dress I would have never thought about but she knew what I was looking for. With one last question she says "do you trust me?" I told her yes. We went and put it on and it left her speechless (in a good way) and she said you have to see this. As I walk out of the dressing room my bridal party started to tear as I turned around to see myself all I could do was stare in the mirror as a started to cry myself. She had found me the most perfect dress I could ever imagine. It took 3 other dresses then this one was it I didn't want any others I knew she had found me my dress! As we all including her were starring and tearing up she just kept this calming smile on her face and made me feel even more gorgeous than ever. I want to tell you and her THANK YOU for helping me find MY dress. She was amazing with me and then went on to also find my bridesmaids their dresses and made them feel just as amazing as I did. read more

I went into David's last Friday, to try on wedding dresses. I went in, not sure I'd ever find a dress that I liked. However I checked in a few minutes early, and someone promptly asked me what I was here for. Five minutes through the door, I had all of my papers signed, and I was ready to go. Just a few short minutes later I was helped by an employee named Holly. She asked me to show her some dresses I liked, and after picking out a few, we went to the dressing room, and shortly after, with nothing but ease, I was into the first dress. I wasn't sure quite what I thought, but Holly reassured me I looked incredible. I tried on the second dress, and I knew instantly that was the one. Holly let me know of all options as far as veils, headbands and shoes went. All accessories. She informed me of all sales, all deadlines and all timelines for ordering/receiving. She went above and beyond, even to suggest a dress she thought I'd like, just in case! The prices were phenomenal, the selection was large and the styles were great. Everyone I dealt with here was so friendly, and I cannot wait to go back next month and pick up my dress, as well as to bring my bridesmaids up there. I wouldn't suggest anywhere else! When you go up, ask for Holly! read more

I don't like shopping; I don't like trying on clothes; I am two weeks out from a wedding that I wasn't planning on attending (it's in California) and feeling the crunch of trying to get a bridesmaid dress on super short notice in exactly the right color, length, and material--AND that actually fits me and is somewhat modest. YIKES!!! Needless to say, I was nearly in tears before I even walked in the door! Fortunately, the lovely Miss Lynn B was my consultant and she walked in and *owned* it. She has a very reassuring and professional approach and assured me that she "has been working here 13 years" and that she has seen far more difficult situations work out just fine. She encouraged me to look around and find whatever looks like it could work and we could go from there. She was able to order and have rush-shipped the dress I wanted in the right size and color, even though I had been told on the phone by someone else the night before that that would not be possible. We were in and out of there in less than 40 minutes with the assurance (and agreement from my mom) that all was well and that I had made a good choice. And I didn't even cry and leave like I figured I would ;) Lynn B, I heart you! read more

This bridal shop went above and beyond for me. We got to have the best bridal experience and Hope was the best consultant. She was so kind. We found a big ball gown that was so pretty and Hope did everything to make sure I was happy. I tried on many dresses that day and she was right there to help me. After ordering the dress and it arrived, I was not in love with it like I thought I was. It was just not a pretty fit on my body type. I am a size 16. I felt like I was forcing myself to love it because it was an expensive dress. After a few days of personal struggle, I called this store and told them that I was so unhappy and was in tears over my horrible choice in dresses for me. Simone and Hope got together and made my dreams come true... for the 2nd time. Simone told me it would be okay and I believed her. I went to the store that day and they went above and beyond for me. We found me a new dress. It was in Lenexa, Kansas and they had my size and everything. The stores worked together and found me everything I really wanted and now I am the happiest bride in the world. I couldn't have done this without them. Thank you Hope and Simone! read more

I would like to thank Bridget, at the Springfield Store, for making my daughter's day Wonderful. We had looked at another Bridal Shop last week and came away feeling like my daughter was a lost cause that there would be no dress for her. When we walked into David's Bridal we felt welcome and then we were introduced to Bridget who was to be our Consultant. She made us feel at ease and like she really wanted to make my daughter's day a Happy and a Wonderful experience. As we looked through the dresses she asked what the kind of dress my daughter was looking for all the while looking and listening. We found a dress for her to try on (which was amazing) she asked what my daughter liked and didn't like about the dress. Again, listening to what my daughter wanted. Each dress she brought her was more beautiful. The 4th dress Bridget brought was the dress my daughter picked and was the most beautiful dress that made my daughter look more beautiful and amazing! Bridget was WONDERFUL!!!! I will recommend her and David's Bridal to everyone!! She made us feel like we were the only one's that mattered in her busy day! read more

I had a dream for what my wedding dress would look like on my first appointment. The "dream" dress I ended up hating and my consultant, Katie, helped find some more dresses for me to try on. I had three total appointments before I said yes to the dress and had Katie each time. For my third appointment, Katie even came in on her day off to be there for me when I said yes to the dress. Customer service does not get any better than that. I was entirely unsure of wearing a veil for my wedding, but I had all hands on deck for after I said yes to the dress. I was given many recommendations to enhance how I will look on my wedding day. I would highly recommend getting a wedding dress from here. If at all possible, ask for Katie, she is about five foot five inches with brown hair and eyes. She will make you feel at ease about being a bride and finding the dress. I have nothing but good things to say. read more

I recently went in to look at dresses as I am getting married in the summer. I had no idea what style I was looking for. When I went in the girls immediately made me feel welcome and started asking questions of what I wanted. they brought me several dresses to try so I could narrow down what I liked. The dress they brought I looked at I didn't think it was me. But was willing to try it on.I tried it on and wow it was my dress. The girls listened and heard exactly what I wanted! They were able to visualize the perfect dress for me just by listening to me and knowing how dresses looked on. I originally felt uncomfortable trying dresses on as this is surreal. By the end of the appointment I had my veil, sash, and dress on feeling like a bride and could see myself walking down the aisle. I rang the bell with excitement. Thank you to Davids Bridal for making this moment memorable and easy! read more

All I can say is this David's Bridal is amazing. Bridget was so great and accommodating. I chose David's Bridal because my bridesmaids are in two different states and I live in a third. Between our experience in Ohio and Alabama I was very disappointed. We were treated like an inconvenience and no one was willing to help us. However, when my one of my bridesmaids went into the Springfield David's Bridal Bridget immediately took care of everything. She even helped me order a dress for a bridesmaid in a different state. The other David's Bridals said they couldn't help me. I can't say enough great things about this David's Bridal and wish we had started the dress shopping experience here. Thank you Bridget for understanding how stressful the experience can be and doing everything you can to make it great! read more

When I went to David's Bridal to get my wedding dress my consultant was AMAZING! Her name was Bridgette and she did an awesome job finding me my perfect dress. She was fun to be around and didn't rush me at all when I was torn between two dresses. Even when I saw the dress I wanted when I first walked in the store, she brought me other dresses to try on just to make sure I wanted that dress. I think I had more fun experience in this store than I have had in other dress shops. We laughed the entire time and got along great, which is hard for me to do with people I have just met. When I had my dress and was ready to go, she gave all of my family members and myself a hug when we left. Thanks to my awesome consultant, I had a great time trying on dresses and finding a dress I am completely in love with. read more

First of all wow, I started my appointment with a little anxiety, I was never expecting to find my dress at the first go, I thought David's Bridal wouldn't have the style I wanted. Plus I had gone alone and my mom lives in North Dakota. My consultant Lisa was amazing, I had only showed her a picture of what styles my mom and I had talked about liking. Anyway she pointed me to the perfect dress, the one that I ultimately ended up getting for my fall wedding. Needless to say I felt welcomed and just like a bride, she FaceTimed with my parents and helped me show them my dress. It was a bittersweet moment, every girl wants her mom to be there when she's picking out her wedding dress, but throughout all of the planning I know my mom's voice will be heard or will flow straight through me naturally. read more

I had been to several other boutiques' in Springfield, MO looking for a wedding dress and was really disappointed with their service. However, not the case when I went to David's bridal. The manager and Tamiah C. took great care of me even though I came in on a busy night with no appointment. Even though we didn't have a lot of time, Tamiah, did a fabulous job helping me into the dresses and making me feel beautiful. After, I tried on the 2 dresses and not completely feeling like they were the one. Tamiah, asked if she could bring me another dress and I'm so happy I said, "yes" to her, because I walked away that night with my dress!!!! Make sure you ask for Tamiah, when you book your appointment. I promise she will do everything in her power to help you find the perfect dress. read more

When I went in looking for my wedding dress, I wasn't expecting to find a dress right away. My maid of honor and I had chosen four dresses that I wanted to try on, which all looked pretty good. But after describing to Bridgett (the consultant) that I wanted to try on something a little different, she knew exactly what I meant. I told her, "a mermaid with not a lot of poof," and she brought me two absolutely beautiful dresses. I was very torn between the two, and she was so patient and wonderful while I was trying to make up my mind. She even waited for me to send pictures to my mom and soon to be mother-in-law for their input. Bridgett made this experience a thousand times better than I was expecting it to be, and she was overall just a fantastic consultant and a great person. read more

I had a great experience at David's Bridal, thanks to my assigned stylist Bridgette. First, my appointment started on time, which I appreciated. From the moment I met my stylist, she listened to everything I said I liked or did not like about a dress and grabbed dresses off the rack that she thought would fit the style I wanted. After trying on three dresses, she returned with one that she thought would be "it." She wouldn't let me see it until I put it on and walked out of the dressing room. She was absolutely right. She made my experience better than I could have imagined. I never gave her my budget, but the dress I ended up choosing was less than half of what I planned on spending. Additionally, she was not pushy and I did not feel rushed during my appointment. read more

Okay I love fashion and more importantly I love cheaper fashion. I knew for my wedding dress I wanted to keep it under 2 thousand. Not only did that happen but we actually spent 800 less. Not only that, the stylist we had name Haley REALLLY understood what I was going for. I tried on THREE, THREE dresses and I found the perfect one. She hyped me up and made me feel SOOOO BEAUTIFUL. She truly is amazing at her job and will recommend her to all the future brides I know. I also was able to meet with one of their alterations lady. This was important to me because my mom is a seamstress and pattern maker who use to specialize on wedding dresses. Lana knew what she was talking about and was extremely professional. I am so excited to work with them in the future! read more

I want to send a shout out to Ireland!! She was a fantastic help to me while I shopped at David's Bridal. She helped me find the wedding dress that will be fabulous for my big day. To top it off the wonderful lady who is doing my alterations is going to have my dress not only fit me perfectly, but ready for my big day that is in 2 weeks. That's right. In only two weeks. All of the staff there was kind, courteous, and full of energy. They had such a huge selection to choose from. My friends daughter even found a dress for another occasion. They have so many other dresses there along with great accessories. I even bought my wedding shoes from them. It was a one shop stop for everything. Thank you ladies!! read more

I had a very good experience with DB! Don't get me wrong. There was a consultant that snapped at my mother and grabbed a dress out of her her hand, but I absolutely loved the consultant I was working with. Lisa even passed her next appointment off to another consultant to continue helping us. I was very nervous and indecisive, but Lisa took time to help but not only me, but my family at ease! I tried on several dresses with accessories-with just one dress I tried 3 different sashes and multiple head bands! Since it was raining and a slow day, we were even able to get my niece her flower girl dress and my sister her bridesmaid dress! I am happy to say I found the dress I get to marry the love of my life in! read more

I went in to pick up my dress and the staff was friendly and accommodating even though they were very busy. I had a lady help with an online return and it was easy and quick! Paula assisted me with trying on my dress and guiding me with what may be needed for alterations and was very informative and answered all the questions I didn't have my first visit there. She set me up as fast as she could with an alterations appointment and didn't make me feel like I was wasting her time as she continued to look up additional purchases and listened to all my concerns. I enjoyed my experience with Paula and hope to see her in my next visit. Over all it was a great experience. read more

Hands down the best place in Springfield to get your wedding dress. After being treated not so nice, as if our business wasn't worthy of their time, by another Springfield dress shop (which I won't name) we walked into David's Bridal and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful they were. We didn't have an appointment, we had a budget, and not much time before the wedding. They were very helpful and super accommodating. I've been dress shopping a lot and the ladies at David's Bridal were very welcoming and friendly. I wish I remembered the name of the lady that we met as soon as we walked in because I can't say enough good about her customer service. read more
