I am extremely disappointed with my online order experience. I ordered a perfume, but instead I received a small candle and some random sample items that I did not order. This was clearly a fulfillment mistake on your end. Now I am being told that in order to receive a refund, I need to take time out of my day to package and return the incorrect items. This is not my fault, yet I'm expected to waste my time and gas to fix an error made by your company. When a business ships the wrong product, the responsibility should not fall on the customer to correct it. I paid for a specific item, never received it, and now I'm being inconvenienced further just to get my money back. I had an extremely disappointing experience with David's Bridal and feel completely misled by their return policy. I purchased a wedding dress on February 22 for about $1,800. Shortly afterward, I started having second thoughts and wanted to return it within what I believed was their 30-day return window (which is widely referenced online). However, when I contacted the store, I was told that because the dress cost over $1,500, they do not allow refunds--only store credit. This policy was never verbally explained to me before I purchased the dress, and it is buried in very small text at the bottom of a long receipt. Had I known that spending slightly over $1,500 would completely eliminate my ability to receive a refund, I absolutely would have reconsidered the purchase or taken more time to decide. What makes this even more frustrating is that the dress was not taken home and hasn't even shipped yet--it was ordered and is still in their system. I contacted them well within the supposed return timeframe and even offered a compromise where they could keep $300 as a restocking fee and refund the remaining amount, but they refused to work with me at all. For a company that markets itself around such an important milestone in people's lives, the lack of transparency and unwillingness to help a customer in good faith is incredibly disappointing. This experience has turned what should be an exciting part of wedding planning into a stressful and frustrating situation. Future brides should be very careful and ask explicitly about the refund policy for dresses over $1,500 before purchasing, because it may not be clearly explained to you. read more

I have had two really great experiences at the David's Bridal location here in Roseville! Kourtnie (hopefully I got that spelling right) worked with me both times, and she was an absolute angel. During my second appointment, she had another helper with her who was amazing as well (I couldn't remember her name, but she was so lovely!). The staff here has been so insanely helpful, kind, patient, and made for such a pleasant experience. I am one of the most indecisive people; even after two appointments I still do not have my dress chosen, but that did not stop these ladies from trying to think of every possible thing they could do to help me come to a decision. They stayed much longer than the appointment duration was supposed to go (both times) just to make sure we got through everything I needed before leaving the store. I would 1000% recommend both of those ladies to anyone going in. Even the two different front desk girls I've seen have been so lovely! I went to find a formal dress for an upcoming event. The lady up front told me she would have a stylist find me as she is currently on a break. I walked around and the dresses were organized by color so it was appealing to shop. I went to the clearance section since it was BOGO. I picked out a few dresses to try then asked a person for shoes to try on with my dress. She couldn't find the exact shoes I wanted to try with my dress, I settled for a pair I found in my size. I tried on dresses and I couldn't find any in my size. I finally had my friend pick some dresses in my size as she couldn't zip up my dress. At this point the stylist Jessica came to assist me. She measured me to find my dress size. I ended up picking two dresses because of the BOGO deal. I would come back again for a dress here. read more

Don't ever order online from David's Bridal! They are horrible to deal with! I ordered two identical dresses in different sizes for my daughter to wear to Night to Shine. It took almost a month for them to arrive. The first dress tried on fit. It had some picks in the lace but we didn't have time to get another one so she wore it anyway. The second dress was returned the next day on January 29th via UPS. According to UPS, it arrived back to DB on Feb. 4th. Today is March 7th and I do not have a refund. I've called and texted with "customer service" twice. Two hours minimum wait to speak to someone each time. A lot of back and forth, no assurances, "it arrived to the wrong place and they had to send it to the right place, they have to inspect the return, I might not get a full refund depending on the condition of the dress ( we never took it out of the package), said to wait until March 20th for refund. Ridiculous company, ridiculous customer service. Save yourself the hassle of shopping here. Worst service ever! read more

I came here today as the Matron of Honor for one of my closest friends who is getting married in May. We had an appointment for 1:30 and arrived on time. This was her first ever appointment to try on dresses so we were optimistic but did not expect to find "the one" today. Sierra was our consultant and she was right at the entrance when we arrived. She got my friend set up with a bag and asked what she was looking for. After looking at a few inspiration photos, she explained the dress sections to us and told us to look around while she pulled some items. I went straight for the clearance section and let the bride look at the expensive stuff. I found a lovely dress at a very good price and after about 10 minutes my friend was in the changing room with some good options. We spent almost 2 hours trying on about 6-8 dresses and retrying some with different undergarments, hairpieces, etc. Ultimately my friend chose the very first dress she tried on; the one closest to the picture she had in her head. She teared up when she finally came out in it with in a good size with everything in place. We both knew it was the one. I am so happy for her. Sierra was very attentive and helpful throughout the entire process and the woman who does alterations was lovely as well. She had great suggestions and feedback to make my friend's dress perfect for her special day. The bride got the dress and hairpiece she wanted and came in well under budget. (My clearance dress came in second place, but hey, a girl's got to try!) She also got a lot of positive feedback from multiple staff and customers. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, but should we run into any problems I will update the review. I was surprised by their selection and prices were fair. I have been to David's before in other locations and we did not have an appointment and the experience wasn't as good so I would definitely recommend taking the time to set one up to make your experience more pleasurable but I would absolutely recommend this location after my experience. read more

In May I stopped in for an appointment to pick out a bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding December 6th, since it takes a bit to get the order in. My sister gave the option for her bridesmaids to chose their own style, but in the same shade. My consultant was Julianna and she was very helpful, as well as patient when I made my selections for try on and didn't loose her nerves when my hyper toddler started up. I tried on a few different styles and chose the High-Neck Ruched Mesh Bridesmaid Dress in Pewter. My first reaction "I look good!" I felt hot in that dress, it just fit perfectly and hugged my curves nicely so it didn't have to be altered at all! On the day of the wedding the dress was both comfortable and flattering! I felt very elegant and received a lot of compliments on my dress! I would highly recommend this location and I would recommend it to others! I do not have enough good things to say about the alterations expertise at David's Bridal, particularly with their tailor, Xiao. I had a disastrous experience with another retailer and was trying to find a dress with just 4 weeks before the wedding. David's Bridal totally accommodated me and booked an appointment so I could bring in a dress that I had hastily purchased online. I was trying to see if alterations would make it passable for my wedding dress and Xiao was a superstar. She made excellent alterations and style recommendations (like using a jeweled belt to line the bust). It felt like Project Runway. I was amazed by her suggestions because it felt like a different dress. The alterations team is also very accommodating and allowed me to come in before the pickup date so I could try on the dress on (since I was on such a tight timeline). I picked up the dress yesterday and it is everything I wanted. Xiao was careful to minimize seams when she made her alterations and even gave me the leftover fabric. She also did an amazing job with the length since the dress moves perfectly and will not get caught on my shoes. I really appreciate her and her team's attention to detail. Recently went in to dress shop with my sister. Appointment scheduled at 12 noon. They were behind and started us 15 min late. This was the forrar time trying dress and unsure of what she wanted. 1st 3 were duds not her (beautiful dresses tho). We were told she could only try in 2 more dress !!! Wait what ?!?! Because of her scheduled time was 1.5 hours. It had been maybe 20 min into the start. I walked away and over heard lady helping her say to another employee my sister was too picky! Yes, yes she is. Highly don't recommend. Don't come here unless it is a last resort. You will get better customer service at a gas station. I came in to look for dresses for a junior bridesmaid, and two flower girls. I believe the staff here desperately need training in customer service. No one greeted me. I had to approach someone and ask for a dressing room. The girls were so excited to try on dresses. We found ones that they loved. No one checked on us. After the dressing room, I wanted to see if the dress came in the color I preferred so I could pay. I was carrying the dresses in my arm. I saw a few staff talking/mingling towards the center of the room... no one looked at me. I approached the register that had a lady standing there but she looked like she was in the middle of a task. She ended up looking up the dresses to see if it came in the color I wanted. At that time, the staff that were mingling earlier all decided to gather around us. Still not a peep from any of them. The lady at the register said it would take 3 months for the dresses to come in. My wedding date is earlier than that, so I just "okay" and put my card back in my purse. No other alternatives were offered. No one told me to have a good day. I just walked off with the girls in tow. Perhaps they don't give attention to anyone who isn't buying an actual bride's dress, who knows. I will take my business elsewhere and highly suggest that you do as well. read more

My mom and I went in all excited to pick out my mother of the grooms dress. I felt overwhelmed and uncomfortable and was sure I wouldn't find anything. Even though I didn't have an appointment the manager Cherae and her stylist Emily and Erin made me feel very important and taken care of. The bride has a total of 5 bridesmaids in the wedding party. Based on the store hours, location the bride and only 3 bridesmaids being able to attend the scheduled fitting on Sunday, 2/28/21 with the following two attending with the bride the next day on 3/1. The representative held the two dresses for us to try on the next day, as the bride wanted all 5 bridesmaids in the same color and style dress. Immediately upon arrival, the representative who assisted us did a great job with the fitting and determining size. We did notice immediately, that there was another woman who continued to follow us throughout the process, however she spoke no words and offered no assistance. Although used to this due to the color of our skin, made the situation awkward and uncomfortable. Upon agreeing to the size we moved to the register. The woman stated to the representative who was assisting us that she needed to oversee the transaction. Interesting, but was giving her the benefit of the doubt. The bride, who was also present the day before saw that the transaction price and coupon that was utilized in the purchase on 2/28/21, was not made available to myself and the other bridesmaid that came on 3/1/21. The manager on duty, Nicole B (who did not identify herself as a manager until much later). Stated that the coupon and price that the 3 bridesmaids received the day prior should not have been given and she was unable to honor the same price and coupon for the other two bridesmaids in the party.  I inquired why we would be penalized for an employee error or a failure in training on David's Bridal behalf. When pressed on how the employee was able to key it without issue, explaining the price was part of the reason why the dress was being purchased and as a manager she should have the same if not more access than the employee from the day before. Nicole then changed her reasoning from her not being able to, to that of she needed to contact the store manager for approval. She then left us at the counter, only to return with another employee again denying the adjustment. When again inquiring on her decision, the level of customer service that she was showing the staff and other shoppers in the store, and what was different about us than the ladies from the day before, Nicole again changed her stance from being UNABLE to make the change to being UNWILLING to make the change.  Since 3 of the bridesmaids already had placed their orders for this specific dress, there was a chance that if we went to another bridal shop, we would be unable to find the same color and style dress. This caused the bride to have a break down and we in turn had to pay an amount of $30 more than the price of the same dress from the day before. While although not a huge amount of money, was extremely huge in principle and respect in a service industry. For such a large and nationwide chain whose primary focus is to make a bride's day feel special and beautiful, the manager is clearly not a reflection of this company's mission statement of At David's Bridal, we are committed to making dreams come true by offering consistently outstanding service to every customer. We called ahead and got lucky with a 3pm appointment (same day). The three of us did get a there a bit early, so we started looking and got a few dresses. Since we have gotten quite a few dresses, we asked to asked to get a dressing room a couple minutes early and they accommodated us. The two brides (friends getting married the same year), tried on dress after dress. The lady who was our "person" came to check on us twice, but wasn't focused on us. She only showed one dress that wasn't anywhere near what my friend was looking for. She heard us and had fun with our crazy, but that was it. We appreciate the last minute add. What we didn't appreciate was the lack of attention and listening to our likes. (Two brides and one grandma did find THEIR dress, but it wasn't for us.) read more
