Oh goodness, I tessellated back and forth between wanting to write a stellar review or not. But I unfortunately had a hiccup with the alterations department. Let me preface this with the fact that Than does a stellar job, however, they lost my removable dress straps. With alterations, I spent over 2k on my dress. And it was an honest disappointment. I get having to come in a few times to make sure the alterations are good-- because my dress was fitted with lace and beading. I am thankful that they were able to make custom straps because they had lost my other straps. However, me having to come in 4 times for my dress is a lot. When they said the straps were ready, they weren't and now I'm sitting here in the alterations waiting area for almost an hour for something that was supposed to already be done. I have a very busy and tight schedule-- so having to account for an extra hour and a half of waiting on unfinished work is unacceptable. read more

This was about my 3rd dress fitting and I wanted to give David's Bridal a shot. There weren't many dresses that fit my style, but Catherine did an amazing job accommodating what I was looking for in a dress. It was hard when there were so many appointments going on at once because there isn't much sitting room for the guests. Helping my daughter find a bridesmaid dress for a wedding in September on the East coast. The store doesn't open until noon on Sundays, which I thought to be really weird as most stores are open at 10 AM. We were pleasantly greeted and explained that we were looking for a bridesmaid dress and were shown to the racks where they have the samples hanging in different categories with different sizes. It was very interesting to say the least. The store was fairly empty so we had all the attention of one of the ladies, whose name was Charlotte. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. After finding about 10 different dresses for my daughter to try on, we found one that was just perfect for her. Unfortunately, the dresses do not come in petite lengths and must be modified after it's made. I find this highly irregular because if we have to special order the dress in a certain color, why can't we order the length at the same time? Oh right, because it costs even more money to pay their seamstress to fix it correctly. I bet you're wondering why I only gave it three stars? Well, the place was pretty filthy and could use new flooring throughout. Good gracious, why can't they run a vacuum cleaner before opening the damn store? All kinds of dust, stains, sequins, glitter, threads, and dirt were all over the place. The reception desk area had ripped up carpet which made it look really cheap. Super helpful employees, dirty store. Not enough places for people to sit, unless you're right in front of the brides platform, then you have a choice of 6 chairs. That's it. Poor management is what runs businesses into the ground. Sad. Hope it gets better. read more

I don't recommend even stopping by at this location. I wanted to try on one dress. I did not have an appointment but it was one dress. The store was empty and I when I walked back the the fitting room to see if can try on the associate was immediately like "when's the wedding" and walked me up the the front to check for an appointment when I clearly said I did not have one. When I told her that it felt like she didn't want me ti try on for 10 minutes she said it was policy. I felt like she was questioning if I was just trying on for fun (which I was not). Also, when I called prior they said walk ins were fine. The other David's bridal allowed me to try on a dress by myself at the Westminster location with out an appointment. It was no problem at all. To make an appointments to try on a $300 dress for a reception is a waste of time. This woman was ridiculous. read more

I visited this location on Monday October 18, 2021, I needed to return a pair of my bridesmaids shoes due to the fact that 2 of the stones fell out. (Keep in mind the shoes had been sitting in a bag) moving on, I walk into the store and inform 3 of the employees at the counter of the situation. one leaves the counter to check for another pair. I'm still waiting at the counter with the 2 remaining employees one of the employees then shared with me that the shoes are discontinued, as the other employee returns with the shoes. What i DON'T LIKE (Especially in customer service) is when a (lazy) employee tells the customer that they don't have or don't carry without checking the store or in the stock room beforehand!!!!! relaying that useless line to paying customers. There was only 1 employee working that day that made the difference. I am the bride and literally have spent thousands of dollars at David's Bridal (in California) I would have bought more while visiting the Colorado store but decided NOT TO!! Review for alterations only: Wow Lucy was great. I was really nervous because the Asian body type can be difficult to fit a heavy strapless gown on.. but Lucy was incredible and knew multiple tricks to fit it right and add things to aid in fitting it perfectly. She also worked with me on different bussle options until I found one I liked. Highly recommend. You get what you pay for. It wasn't super cheap (it was reaosnable though) but I much rather it be done right since this is the most important dress I'll ever wear. read more

Davids Bridal is horrible..you pay $500 for a dress then pay $500 to alter it and then alterations fucks it up and makes it looks like shit. Its 2 weeks until my wedding and they want to "fix it"..if you take the beads out where you put them its going to leave holes in the dress. The buttons on the dress look so tacky. I went bridesmaid shopping with my sister here. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for the past 8 months and have been unsuccessful. When telling our consultant that I may need a dress that would work for a hopeful baby bump she responded with and I quote " Can't you just wait to have a baby till after the wedding". The wedding in question is 11 months away and I can't just waste that time when I know it take more than a month to conceive. I don't have good news to post. I have always admired David's Bridal illustration of a beautiful wedding. For me that stream was shattered into pieces. I am very disappointed that David's Bridal allowed their employees to be violently aggressive with individuals guests. I walked in store the Aurora store it is all beautifully designed dresses and accessories. Unfortunately, I was fooled by their appearance. To this day I wonder why these two employees physically attacked me. I went to meet my husband there. These women were strangers to me. I had never had no issues with anyone at this Aurora location or any location.This moment of that cold day in September; changed me and my family's life forever! I hope that It was not racially profiled that motived them. be Racism breaks my . The attacks oddly happened so quickly and spontaneously. I was attacked from behind I didn't see these two white females at David's Bridal active employees coming behind me. They manipulated an attack against me and slanderers me to officials. I was left with a blackened eye, a head concussion and a damaged ear drum. My family and I are still traumatized by this to this day. I need help! I sincerely need help from someone to heal from this trauma. I want to rest in peace at night. I need a lawyer. I need guidance because I am lost in this. I was surprised to find the review of this place so low since I had a great experience finding my wedding dress and having the dress altered at this store. Their staff are professional and very patient. They quickly understood what I wanted for my wedding and found me 4 candidate dresses.The alteration was very easy as well: staff were super friendly and took my measurements very quickly. The dress fit perfectly after the alternation and they also ironed my veil and sash. I highly recommend david's bridal at this location. I went in July to try on dresses and had a great experience. Ended up ordering my dress after 2 visits (both during the week to avoid any crowds) in a size 4, knowing I'd purposely gain weight for health reasons which I hoped would make the dress fit even better. Fast forward to yesterday, and the dress didn't zip up. My bridesmaid called DB and they said to come in today as it was busy on a Saturday afternoon with prom season being in full swing. Went in just after noon today and the manager (believe her name was Diane, but I'm terrible with names so don't quote me on that!) helped me find a size six and made sure I got to try it on. It fit like a GLOVE! Left after just 10-15 min in the store with a smile on my face knowing I had my dress that fit for my wedding in 2.5 months. Excellent service and such sweet ladies working here. If I could give no stars it would be appropriate. This was the worst experience I have had shopping ever. Rude, dirty and very limited selection. The dresses they have as samples are very limited and limited in size. The sales person seemed annoyed that we were even there trying on dresses. She could care less about helping us and kept disappearing during our time. We had all dresses lined up and she was no where to be found. Never brought a clip or helped much at all. Whatever you do don't buy anything with cash ! I bought a dress I returned it. I'm still waiting on the check that was on September 19! since then I've gotten the complete runaround from these people every week and Im told oh yeah it'll be in the mail it never comes! If you notice, I left a review 10 days ago and they responded to me acting like they were trying to locate it NOBODY has contacted me. So that response on my review was obviously just for show. Every week I contact corporate I get a new person every time I have to explain the whole situation for them to tell me they have to contact the financial department and it could take 20 to 48 hours and that they would call me back NOBODY ever does!!! So I call them again they'll tell me my checks in the mail but it never comes!!! When I contact the store manager, she does the same thing. I'm really starting to feel like I got scammed! read more

She was able to talk me into rescheduling my wedding dress fitting and I'm really glad I did. I had a much better experience and more personalized attention like I had hoped for. I even found my dress! I've changed my review to 4 stars since I still haven't received it yet, and alterations is still a ways away, but I'm very happy I was contacted by their upper level management and gave them another chance. It was worth it. A little over a week ago I made an appointment for this evening to try on wedding gowns for my special day. My very first time trying on wedding gowns. Myself, my mother and two of my bridesmaids accompannied me. Upon arrivIng I find out that we were double booked with another bride, her whole family, and only one associate to help us, Sarah. Sarah was absolutely incredible. She was friendly, funny, extremely helpful, and she made some excellent recommendations for new dresses I hadn't considered. My review lacking four stars has nothing to do with her. It was the fact she was running back and forth between running errands for this other bride and myself. There were several moments where I sat there ready to be helped out of one dress, and waited 5-10 minutes while Sarah finished with the other bride before she could help me. She was overwhelmed, and had no help from anyone else in the store. I saw several other employees meandering about, including the manager. I felt like I was put on the back burner, and that's not the wedding gown shopping experience I wanted. I did not feel like I got the wedding dress EXPERIENCE I was paying for. Sarah was running around stressed out, still smiling and being friendly but I could tell she was being run ragged. I was really peeved that I wasn't her only client, I made an appointment ahead of time so I figured I got an associate to myself for that hour. I tried on 8 dresses, which could have been accomplished in an hour. We were there well over two hours. In my life, I am never the center of attention. When I shop for a wedding gown, and have $1,000+ to spend on a dress, and MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ahead of time, I fully expect to have a little more attention and specialized help. When I dropped off my dress for alterations their computer system was down, so I wasn't able to pay at that point. I was not comfortable with leaving my CC information on a sticky note so they said they would get it later. I dropped off my dress on 01/24 and scheduled the pickup on 02/12. I never received a voicemail or any other communication from them in that three-week period. When I went to pick up my dress on 02/12, I was told absolutely no work was done on that dress in the three weeks they had it. I am not responsible for their computers being down, nor did I think the service would be free. I fully expected to pay when I picked up the dress. That would be like dropping off your car for service and them not doing any work till you paid. No, you do the service I pay you for the service. SO, to blatantly dis-regard my dress for three weeks is an absolutely horrible business practice. If I was made aware without payment no work would be done I would have personally called my payment in the next day. Nothing on the contrary was addressed to me and no message was left by them so I assumed the work would be done and the dress would be given to me upon payment. Now I get to wear an extremely long dress with gaping in the chest. read more

I did not have a good experience at this David's bridal. We came in to look for bridesmaid dresses and I requested to also spend a little time looking at wedding dresses because I didn't have one yet. My consultant said "we can try to look a few later but remember that this isn't about you, this is about the bridesmaids so don't take away from their time." Excuse me. There would be no bridesmaids without me being a bride. On top of that, one of my bridesmaids is pregnant and we had been told that David's bridal has a strap on pregnant belly for people to try. We asked to use this and said said "it's really just a pillow. You don't want that." We did want it because it would have at least given an idea. I would not go back here. read more

I am always apprehensive when it comes to dress shopping. I walked into this David's bridal store and they welcomed me right away. I had previously made an appointment so I am sure that helped. I was put into a dressing room with some dresses and things were going well until about 20 mins in and I couldn't find the shop attendant I was assigned to. I went back up to the front and was told they had actually forgotten she was already helping me and assigned her to someone else. So -1 star for that. It would have been even less but they definitely redeemed themselves as I was checking out. I had my dress picked out but not the correct color or length. I had a quick turn around with needing the dress back in the right color and length, so due to the issue with the assignment mishap they comped me the fee for the rush order. Additionally since the dress is going to have to be altered they also comped me for the alterations appointment I have coming up in a few weeks. Definitely a plus for this store. The check out person and manager were very accommodating and eager to help by providing comps for those fees. If I do ever need a dress or anything of that nature I will definitely be back!! read more

UPDATE!!!!! NOW I AM GETTING HITCHED!!! To the most wonderful man. You may want to sit down, with a nice beverage, as this may be a long one...So, I had not intended on purchasing my gown from David's, even though I had tried on a couple, and one that I really liked! I was however, going to use them for my maid of honor, my Jr. bridesmaid and my flower girl. I, in fact, had found the most beautiful gown for myself, in a magazine, who's showroom is in California. The way you go about this is to, order a "sample" of the style that your interested in and the size you think is correct. They ship you the sample, you decide whether or not you dig it and whether or not you want to oder the real deal for your big day! Easy enough, right? WRONG. WRONG. WRONG. I ordered that dress, in the size I thought was correct. Holy Mother of God. There are no words for just how WRONG this dress was for me. I felt ill. Was it to big? To small? How can you not know which? My boobs were... I don't even know what to say here and about 30 too many inches of fabric everywhere. I saw horridness, was it as bad as I thought? Am I losing my mind? Nope. It.Was.Bad. What does a girl do? You turn to your fiance and your friends for honest answers and advice. The plan? Go back to David's Bridal and try on that ONE DRESS that had been stuck in the back of my mind. I knew. I KNEW IT... I should have gone with dress from the beginning. I over thought things and now I was in a pickle... Or so I thought... Not so says the ladies at David's !!! They sent me on my way for phase two of my plan, the seamstress. But they knew what I knew. So next, we saw Deedee, The Wedding Seamstress. Sooo, back to David's Bridal we went. I saw Casie again, and she was even more fabulous today than before. I now have the most beautiful gown. It is EVERYTHING I wanted. I feel so so pretty! I will go back to them for everything from alterations to a fancy purse I don't need but may just want, to my big fat crinoline! My best friends gown came from your website today and she just called to say how pretty it is. I feel so calm and excited in one big happy feeling. I have defended this store so many times, as I got my bridesmaid dresses here, vail, etc. I'm wearing my sisters dress that she purchased at Davids Bridal a few years ago. 7 months ago, I brought the dress in and told them that it was purchased here (they even still had my sisters information in the system). I asked them if it was possible to get it steamed before the wedding, and that we were ok with paying any fees. The woman who was working with us said absolutely, and to just bring it in a week or so before the wedding and they'd be happy to take care of it!.... .... Fast forward to two weeks before my wedding, and I bring it in. They send me to the back, and the seamstress says she can't do it, because they don't sell this particular dress anymore. When I told them that the staff had told us we could bring it in, she then got her manager. The manager, Brianna, is by far the most miserable human being I've ever met in a bridal store. Instead of apologizing on behalf of her staff straight up lying to a client, she continues to refuse to steam the dress, because they aren't allowed to. When I told her we were going to take it somewhere else, she then said she'd steam it for a $40 fee. Perfect, that's totally fine I just need the thing steamed. After I pay the $40, she then says that it'll be an hour, we have to wait in store otherwise there will be another fee of $40, and then trots off. Completely condescending, and never once apologizes for her or her staffs mistake. The only note worthy person on this staff is Lucy, in alterations. She was very honest, and tried everything she could to make it right, even though that's the job her manager should be doing. Do NOT waste your time getting anything from this location. The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. Make your day a happy one, not a stressful one. read more
