Told them I had to be out to pick up my child from school and they made it clear I would b out b4 then. End up being late to the school and left with the tire still making noise (which I didn't hear right away... was probably a few days later I noticed). I went to another tire place to get the tire replaced. Told them about the noise and they pulled out the old tpms sensor and showed me that a regular valve stem was used. Came back to Bill Day (which I've used for years and have throughly trusted with all of our cars up UNTIL NOW)... I showed them the sensor. They show in the computer that they did a "flat repair"... which is NOT what I asked for and didn't need a flat repaired. So if they did said repair?... why didn't they find the noise that I heard in the tire and pull that loose sensor out that was floating and then to put a regular valve stem in....? I got NO apology and not even compensation for my time or paying for something that I didn't ask for. I end up paying for the sensor I originally asked for the 1st time... I asked to at least get the amount off from what I was charged for the 3 HOUR wait for the "flat repair" that wasn't done... they denied to give me a minimum of that. .... IF you go here.... DOUBLE Check their work unless you want to have to pay to get it fixed AGAIN!!!!! Very disappointed and also quite pissed about the level of care and customer service has went down from the place our whole family trusted to take care of our vehicles. Would NO LONGER recommend!!!

It would have been nice if you had given me a little more than 16 hours to respond to you before posting your response- life does sometimes get busy. No worries - we'll just do this in writing. 1. Yes, I replaced one leaking hose and had you recharge the system. 2. Yes, my friend DID have his vehicle towed off your property due to it sitting untouched for a full week. 3. No, my AC system was not (and is not) cooling properly. 4. Yes, I did bring it back to you for evaluation, resulting in your personnel saying (very confidently) there were two additional leaks in the condenser and evaporator as "evidenced" by dye under black light. You also recommended the expansion valve be replaced for a total of $2050 (see picture). What are the chances of there being THREE simultaneous leaks in the system when it was working fine until the hose leak developed? Highly UNLIKELY and SUSPICIOUS! I took it to another garage and had a Toyota Master Tech inspect the system, giving them no background info other than the recharge and it not cooling well. They found ZERO leaks! However, they also discovered the system is not cooling well when vehicle is at idle, but works fine when moving, indicating most likely an airflow problem- perhaps a fan clutch or a dirty condenser/radiator. These are pretty easy fixes and certainly don't require $2050 of my hard-earned money. No, this very significant diagnostic failure and unsubstantiated estimate of repair is on Firestation Service. It would have been better had your people simply stated, "We can't identity a problem at this time". At least then your integrity would have been preserved, regardless of future findings. Strive for excellence! Integrity matters! Matt!
