Omg. I'm kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. Because of my location in Rio Rancho (near Santa Ana Star Center) I have only ordered from the chain pizza places. Today, I ordered from Davido's... Not only did my pizza arrive SUPER hot, but the delivery driver was SO polite and friendly. Very good customer service! With that point alone, I probably would've ordered again. However, the pizza was AMAZING!!! NY style pizza - it was AWESOME! Perfect crust and ingredients were so fresh! Our absolutely favorite pizza place in RR! I wish they were closer, but that doesn't really matter since they deliver; even to enchanted hills/northern meadows! We have ordered multiple times and it's always delicious. The crust/ breadsticks are the perfect combo of chewy and crunchy and their pizzas are HUGE! Its New Years Eve, at 5:45 pm I called and ordered for pick up. I was told 30 minutes. Right at 30 minutes I walked in from the snow into a small space full of people waiting for their orders. The store is old and dingy looking, with 3 panicked crew. I paid and was told 10 more minutes, so I left as it was too crowded and the wife wanted cookies. After the Subway across the street sold me 3 cookies I came back. Different people waiting, same hurried employees. Just got the pie home, didn't even look at the shop. Great pizza, worth the wait! We ordered delivery pizza last night. We were told it would be an hour, which was a long time, but figured it a smaller pizza place. Well after an hour and a half, the pizza arrived. I was kinda ticked at this point, but after the first bite, it was worth the wait! The pizza was Great! I would suggest ordering early so you can eat when you want. We will Definitely eat here again! Had the Deluxe Pizza twice and have loved it. It could use a little more sauce but other than that the flavors are wonderful. Worst experience ever... ordered my food, they delivered the wrong order... called and spoke to a "manager", they had no solution and argued with me as if it was my fault, and they had nothing but excuses as if it was my problem that they can't handle their customer traffic and ordering/delivering services. They didn't even offer to make it right by redelivering the CORRECT order, and not even a discount for the wrong order delivered. If I could 1/4 if a star I would. Try to support a local business and they treat customers like this, terrible way to get customer loyalty. Guess I'm going back to a chain pizza establishment. read more

Since I wrote this, I have gone several more times. I have been food poisoned, given the wrong pick-up address over the phone, had orders messed up. They can't keep up with their volume. I informed the management, and they don't really care. They're inconsistent on flavor and quality, and I must have gone on a good day. This is so far out of town, just go to Slice next to UNM. They have pizza pinwheels, which are the pizza rolled out, topped, and then sliced into strips and rolled up, and baked like cupcakes; my son and his friends love those! read more

I grew up back east and I was spoiled with hand tossed neopolitian style pizza's. Moving to Rio Rancho was a disheartening experience for me as the only pizza places were large chains or one Hand tossed joint that you needed a Loan to afford a pizza, and a garbage pail to toss it in (as thats where it belongs). My friend had picked up a pie from Davido's and offered myself and my wife a slice. We Immedatley scrapped our dinner plans and ordered 2 24" pies. This is what i have been looking for. Melty Cheese, Great dough, Good sauce thats not overpowering.. Just excellent. EVERY thing we have ever orderd has been FANTASTIC! Thier Cheesesteak's and thier cheesesteak pizzas are also awesome! I allways get great service with my only critique being they need better/more delivery drivers as they are busy and sometimes thier orders get a little laggy.. Myself and 3 friends cancelled our order and left after we heard her tell someone in the kitchen that she "wasn't putting up with our shit"......mind you this is after about 10 minutes of bad attitude towards us. Soooo good!!! Ordered from Davidos for the first time today and I believe I am HOOKED! We tried pepperoni pizza, hot wings, cannoli and a dinner salad. The pizza was made with good quality ingredients and had a nice, chewy, end crust (my favorite part of pizza) with a very nice sauce. The cheese and pepperoni were piled on in perfect amounts and did not leave us feeling as though we needed to order extra cheese as sometimes happens with other pizza joints. The wings were good, not too hot to eat but enough to sting just a little. I am a huge lover of cannoli and was thrilled to find that the shell was totally crisp- a pretty good indication that it was filled fresh to order not pre-filled & left to sit in a refrigerator for a long period of time. The salad was the only reason I am not giving 5 stars as it was simply iceberg lettuce with a tomato wedge and cucumber slice accompanied by unremarkable blue cheese dressing. Dions better LOOK OUT! I really enjoyed this pizza. Had been wanting to try it for a while, and glad I was finally in the area. First up, this is a take out place--not a sit down restaurant. You order at the counter, if you order there. The staff is down to business. The place is not pretty, but it's quite functional and is set up for what they do--making pizza. There is one, count 'em, one table. It's small, it's not pretty, and there are 4 chairs in the lobby. We happened there on a Saturday just before noon and we opted to eat there at "The Table." We ordered a couple slices each. They made a fresh pizza for our slices. When they came out to us they were HUGE!!! One slice would have been plenty, but man oh man were they good. Fantastic crust--thin where it should be, crispy outside, thicker toward the outer edge and soft and pillowing inside. Very nice. Great toppings, nice sauce and the right amount of cheese. If I lived in the area, this would be my regular pizza hook up. Try it, you'll love it. read more

I recently moved from out of state to New Mexico. I tend to move a lot and I always seek out a place that I would call 'my pizza shop'. I drove past this small pizza shop and took a chance. This place is amazing. It is take out only but I tend to find out that most of the best places are. Dion's in town is great too, but I would choose Davido's over Dions any day. This pizza was great!!! Only thing the crust was a tiny bit too bready for my taste. But delicious. The prices n the sizes are awesome too. Lots of food for the price. But the best thing they catered to my sons allergy needs. Which is a strange request for pizza... My son is allergic to any kind of processed tomatoes. So they made him a pizza with just cheese in pepperoni. Many places react weird to this request but Davidos didn't. Which was awesome. My husband used to get Davidos all the time when they were at their other location and would always rave about it. I was excited to try them right after they moved to their new location on Southern and immediately loved it, the pizza was great, the older lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful, I thought we had found our new pizza place. Since their move we have ordered from there about 6 more times and each time the quality seems to be going down and I don't know where they hire these kids from but they aren't friendly, never attentive and can be down right rude. Our most recent visit has made us decide to go elsewhere. We ordered the Sunday special which is 18" 2 topping for around $15 and a free 12" cheese so that is already more expensive than say Dominos or Pizza Hut but I am always more willing to spend extra to get better, too bad this wasn't the case. The call started off bad, my husband called and after it rang a few times it seemed liked someone picked up then hung up, so he called back and got an airhead girl that had to ask someone after every item we ordered. She didn't even know the Sunday special and then we wanted Chicken Ravioli that is pictured on their website she had to go ask if there was any in stock, which took her a while and of course they didn't have it. First of all that is just bad business, don't advertise what you don't have, this is the 2nd time this has happened to us and next a proper response to letting down a customer would be a sincere apology but instead my husband was meet with "what else would you like then".....he almost cancelled the whole order there and should have. We finally got the pizza from the store, again less than helpful front staff, at least this one wasn't on her cell phone talking like last time. We take it home and it is just a pool of grease on the cheese one and half burnt, I don't mean the little brown bubbles, I mean burnt. My kids ate 1/2 a piece and opted for a peanut butter and jelly sadwhich and we threw the rest of it away. The 18" was ok, we got sausage and green chili on it, the toppings were clumped together so that was disappointing but it wasn't a grease pool. Then my Alfredo was tasteless though the chicken was good and I didn't receive my 2 bread slices so that was a disappointment as well. All in all the quality of the pizza has gone down and the staff is horrible from now on we will be going elsewhere for pizza, there are many other comparable places in Rio Rancho that actually cares about their customers and doesn't advertise what they don't have. read more
