The 91 "Health Score" was a decent start. Apparently this is an online/call-in/pick up spot (Which I didn't know before walking to the front door), but, "No harm, no foul"...I walked up to the service window and the young lady graciously obliged my order anyway. The food was pretty tasty (Though probably a bit overpriced), the serving size was solid and the customer service was righteous. I appreciated the wheat bun on the Veggie Philly, because I was wholly expecting some sad white bread of some sort and hadn't asked specifically before ordering. DaVido's was a pleasant surprise in a pinch and if I found myself in a similar situation, as on this particular day, I just might stop by again - Thumbs up!!i read more

My family and I tried this spot for the first time, and I am so confused by the amount of good reviews. The Philly cheesesteak was absolutely disgusting, I took 2 bites and trashed it. She asked me if I wanted everything that comes with it, and I said yes minus the mushrooms, however I only got onions. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza (It was just as bad). The bread sticks were like cut up sub rolls with garlic butter spread on it - it was sloppy. I do not recommended this place. read more

Friday night pizza run for our family! Too tired to go out so we ordered online. Super easy through the website. Set the time of pick up and placed my order. Waited in line at the drive through for about 6 minutes and the young lady at the window was very helpful and quick. Place looks clean and they are always friendly. We got a large daVido's special pizza and a large Greek Salad! Both were so yummy. Almost more toppings than lettuce but we like it that way. We enjoy our quiet pizza dinners at home with our favorite pizza ! read more

I stopped by daVido's Pizza and Wings recently and had a disappointing experience. There was a sign on the front door stating that the inside was closed, so I went to the drive-thru. When I pulled up, there were no cars in front of me, so I proceeded as normal. At first, I didn't hear the employee when she spoke, so I politely asked her to repeat herself. That's when she gave me attitude and accused me of skipping the line--even though there was clearly no one ahead of me. The employee, a Black woman, spoke to me in a rude and unprofessional tone, which caught me off guard. I came expecting good food and decent service, but the interaction really made the visit uncomfortable. I hope the management addresses how customers are treated, because everyone deserves to feel respected--especially when they've done nothing wrong. read more

Service was Great!! I even gave a trip before I eat the food, because daVidos was our spot for pizza. Okay, we got the meat lovers pizza added black olives, and pineapple. Total cost was $30 and some change...we gave a tip! Got the pizza home and I wanted to give it to the raccoons!! Underwhelming pizza and salad! I ordered delivery from work and there are tons of great spots to at just don't serve our location so this one was a gamble. I love pizza and really wanted to like this spot but alas--my pizza was not done. The bottom was gummy and tasted like yeast. That overwhelmed the tiny bit of sauce. I'm sure I asked for pepperoni and found 4 but that was it. Being stingy with the meat is never a good thing! I got a side salad and it literally was out of a bag, wilted and thrown together. Nothing special. Dressing was some generic store bottle brand. All told it was nothing to write home about. Then again, with an inedible pizza, I didn't go hungry so there is that! Ever since I moved to the south Decatur area, I've been trying my best to support local businesses. daVido's is a great local pizza joint that has affordable prices and quality food. My experience has never been negative. The food is always hot, the quality is always consistent, and lastly, the service is always good. I appreciate that they have their 10 inch cheese pizza for only $4.99. It's a great deal for a meal that fills you up! I'll continue to support daVido's for years to come. read more

I loooooooveeeee this little neighborhood gem! They are very friendly! The wait time is typically true to 15-20 minutes unless it's a weekend or rainy night and the wait may be 20-30 minutes but still not too bad! The first time around I tried the wings and they tasted SO MUCH like Memphis staple wings that I've since divorced all my wing spots and married this one! I mean crisssppppyyyy, always hot and fresh (except that ONE time the grease was old and my wings tasted like fried fish and old grease!) I have stepped away from my comfort zone and tried their hot wings ..they were good but not as scrumptious as the seasoned ones! We've also tried the pizza twice and it was soooo good! They also have a drive through which is perfect for when you don't wanna get out and it saves on their kinda small lobby area! Kudos to them, mmmkkk! read more

Here is what I have to say about all businesses at this point who subject their customers to ridiculous wait times and unorganized operations all under the guise of COVID....1. We don't mind waiting for our food if you quote us a time and then force us to endure additional wait in the drive thru lane. 2. If you're still concerned about COVID to the extent that you make your customers endure the above, then please be concerned enough to wear a mask. Having your small lobby open for customers to pick up food at this point in the game is a bare minimum. You and establishments like yours should be ashamed of yourselves for how you're asking your customers to endure this crap all under the guise of increasing your revenue. All I can say is I have never ever seen red lemon peppers wings..till I ordered lemon pepper from DaVidos. I have been a faithful DaVidos customer until this incident. Couple the Red LP wings with the wings being over cooked and the extended wait period. I have overlooked a lot of things but I'm done. read more

I've gone to the Decatur location often and their service is horrible. They hang up on you when they are busy. Management has no idea what it means with customer service. although they have good lemon pepper wings, I would suggest going somewhere else to get the service that you and that you deserve. Also they are extremely expensive. They charge $25 for a 20 piece and that is not a combo! read more

This is a great neighborhood spot where you can get quality food for reasonable prices! All of the salads are excellent, and their Italian dressing is delicious! The pizzas are good and they have great lunch specials. I've also had the tuna sub which was excellent! I tried the chicken philly, but it was just okay. They have several locations. This is definitely a place to try for either lunch or dinner. read more

I always order the meat lovers .. And childs spaghetti. I never have a issue with The food . It's really good . The cookies are fresh . It's normally young ppl working the window but they are kind and nice everytime. After ordering online i normally wait 5-10 mins once i get there . This was really my spot but due to the dismissal and not respecting the fact I payed for a chicken philly with cheese but I received a chicken and mayo philly. It was GLOBS of Mayo everywhere. Before I called to try to get it resolved I took off a lot of the mayo and attempted to spread it evenly but the mayo was too massive. The lobby is closed due to COVID-19. All orders must be online or called in, then picked up from the drive through window. Also the window if for picking up orders only. On this visit I had lemon pepper wings that were delicious. I was a bit disappointed with the two small strips of celery I received with them. read more

Let's just be real. This pizza is not good. It's public school pizza at its best. Frozen crust. Canned sauce. Matter of fact, this has to be a canned pizza. The cheese source is a bit iffy. They are inconsistent with the food and prices. I order the same pizza each time I come to this establishment. I ordered wings here once and never will again, they were horrible. They archive orders via phone number. Not one time have they gotten my order correct. The pizza has gone down hill along with their food score. The score is a reflection of their staffs nasty attitudes. The restaurant looks horrible it needs to be renovated. read more

The La Bandera was just okay The red sauce was described as a drizzle but it was literally plops of cold sauce on the top. Weird The customer service was great. The price was high but typical for the area.

If you want a table you may have to wait, but we were able to walk straight up to the bar. Outside is Decatur Square which has lots to look at, while inside has plenty of pig decor to search for along the walls.

The group agreed the dates and patatas were our favorites. The vodka martini with blue cheese olive was delicious but there is an up-charge for the olives and premium liquor.
