It was a one-staff operation who was attentive and kept the constant stream of people moving. We bought a variety of baked goods and a small bowl of Kawartha Dairy ice cream. The ice cream was good but nothing in comparison to the baked goods. I'm not usually a macaron fan but their bubble gum one was so flavourful, I'm glad my son didn't eat all of it. We also tried the cotton Candy one which merely tasted like sugar. I got one of their squares which was sweet and tart at the same time. Since all the goodies have been eaten I can honestly say that they were delicious and of very high quality. It was very hard to choose just 6 treats. The cream and fruits on my treats were absolutely beyond my expectations. The staff was also very lovely and friendly and I will definitely be back even though I live 50 minutes away. Wow! I actually really enjoyed the cake of the vanilla cupcake. It didn't crumble and was denser than most cakes but still moist. The icing is buttercream and it's very light and airy. I called them today, and basically, the owner made me one serving of strawberry mousse (not the cake), just for me (!) and it was incredible. Not too sweet, just perfect. Apparently, there are ~30 flavours to choose for the mousse. They can make them in small party style/catering sizes or larger ones. I also ended up getting the tiramisu, which really impressed me as well. This level of customer service is literally unheard of nowadays! I still can't believe it. I would definitely be back. She explained what was in the display and even gave me a sample of her baklava which got me hooked on the first bite! She has walnut and pistachio varieties as well as cute cookies too. And.. psst! Behind her desk she has a secret stash of "healthy" baklava made with honey instead of syrup. On top of the bite size delicacies she also bakes beautiful custom cakes. All the sweets were delicious! Definitely come by this Turkish dessert spot when you're in Vaughan.
