    Vegan cupcakes

These vegan cupcakes saved the day. I was able to walk in and get chocolate and vanilla vegan cupcakes. The cake was moist, delicious and not too sweet. They were $3 each very affordable. I would recommend.

Happy with the custom decoration but not with the messy edges. Could have used straighter lines around the 1 shape.

I ordered a cupcake (pull-apart) cake for my niece's first birthday. I requested a modified version of something they had on their website and sent a photo of what I'd like the cake to resemble. They requested that I call and we discussed what I wanted. Friendly service and easy to place an order. I loved the way the design came out but the edges were very messy - I did expect the outer edges of the cupcakes to be covered entirely or at least be neatly finished. I ordered half chocolate and half vanilla. The vanilla cupcakes were good but the chocolate ones were not a hit. They lacked flavour, colour, and were maybe slightly undercooked, guests noticed a too-moist squishy texture while eating. I might order again but I'll avoid the chocolate.

20th birthday cake! Taste was amazing!!

This has to be the best spot in town for egg free birthday/wedding cakes. I discovered this spot randomly on google and tried it out. First we order my brothers birthday cake and then we continuously used this place for all birthday cakes. The cake was so tasty and the designs were fairly good. There are so many toppings to choose from. We could add strawberries and even pineapple. Since not everyone likes pineapple in the cake we were able to spilt the cake into two and have half with pineapple and half regular vanilla. Which worked out for us. I would recommend this place for all birthday cakes especially for egg free.

Sorry, not good at all…read more It would probably be a different story if they were fresh or made to order buuut I don't think that's their thing. So the location is genius by the way, right next to the weed shop. I see what y'all were trying to do there. However, the long line blocking the entrance was not for doughnuts, it was for the weed lol. Anyways, I walked right in and it is tiny. Literally a hole in the wall. There is only room for one person at a time. I decided to just get 6 donuts which were 4.99. You can get 2 flavours with the 6. I opted for 3 classic cinnamon sugar and 3 vanilla glaze. I had already seen the pile of donuts, (think the style and size of tiny toms) under the heat lamp and was super disappointed when the girl started scooping from the pile. I high key hoped she was going to start making some fresh ones buuuut no. Anyways, brought them home and just from picking it up I knew it was not going to be good. They were hard, surprise surprise and there was just nothing special about them. Again, probably a diff story if they were fresh, but I got what I got. I didn't even eat them all. I ended up throwing out like 2-3. No shade but I didn't want to waste my calories lol. Defs not coming back but wish them all the best.

The prices have gone up a bit, but definitely still very reasonable. Reminder that this is a cash only business. Forget about just Brampton, this place should be on a 'best hidden gems' list for the whole GTA…read more Very much a diamond in the rough being in an older plaza. More than half the store space is devoted as a Portuguese goods grocery store, so the amount of baked goods is somewhat limited. But you know what, when the baked goods you do offer are selling at prices that would still be at a deal 20 years ago, you shoot up in ratings. Take a guess how much they charge for the fresh, jumbo-sized sugar donuts...50 cents! Think it's just cheap since it's a sugar donut? Well for the premium price of 75 cents you can get chocolate dipped, jelly-filled and others. Even apple turnovers and chocolate-filled croissants are just 75 cents too. There's a few other items and of course they're cranking out Portuguese buns like they're feeding the entire neighbourhood - which they might just be doing. And don't just think you're only getting inexpensive baked goods. Perhaps they may not be at the level of the highest "Boulangerie" downtown, but the quality is still fantastic. You are still getting quality alongside value. Honestly, the pricing doesn't even make sense, but bless all the staff and ownership of this place for doing what they do. Oh, and they're super-friendly too.

The positives: there's lots of variety of baked goods and desserts, almost to the point where you wonder if they are jack of all trades, master of none. I only had a sandwich, so I can't evaluate anything else. Seating is plentful if you choose to dine-in. I had a pressed sandwich with Portuguese cheese and salami. It tasted quite good. I also had a cappuccino which was fair. The negatives: First, while they weren't busy and there were two people working, it still took a very long time to get my coffee and then my sandwich. I also noticed their pricing is higher than other Portuguese bakeries because they charge for everything separately e.g. extra dollar for heating/pressing the sandwich. They also had a small and large sandwich option. I ordered the small sandwich, but asked for a different cheese because their cheese options were limited to two mild flavour ones and I wanted something with a stronger flavour. While they didn't tell me, I figured it would be more expensive. When they charged me for my meal, I was charged extra for the cheese and meat. I pointed out I had ordered a small sandwich, so I didn't understand why I was being charged extra on the meat, but apparently the person who made my sandwich had given me extra meat. Well, I didn't ask for that and it isn't my fault she gave me more. The cashier wasn't happy with my argument, even pointing out she had given me 4 slices of meat instead of 1 (as if to say I should be charged even more), but very grudgingly gave me a dollar off the bill. Anyway, my point is I know of other Portuguese bakeries nearby where you can get consistent fast, pleasant service with a good variety and quality of food and no nickle and diming. So I don't see myself coming back.

Decent, but these sweets are not for me…read more I enjoy sweet and even the occasional Timbit, but I found these puffs drenched in oil and super sweet. Overall just very wet and aggressively sugary. In an age where people are trying to eat healthier, I cant really imagine myself coming back for this when I could have a larger portion of more refined sweets elsewhere. Likely a better fit for people with a major sweet tooth or for kids. It's similar to a treat you'd eat at a food truck in a festival or outdoor event. I feel as if I ate an entire week's worth of sugar in one go. The shop itself is pretty modern, spacious, and clean. Sparse seating, lots of mirrors, etc. But the location is great, and there's lots of plaza parking. Staff were ok but very busy with orders. The rest of the menu seems good. Lots of variety of other sweet drinks and pastries, but also items to balance out the sugar like coffee, tea, savoury pastries, etc. Kind of like a crossover between Tim's and Starbucks. I am hesitant to try other items though because of how sweet the puffs were. The pricing is also really steep for the kind of food it is. Personally speaking, Id rather hit Krispy Kreme because those donuts while sugary, don't feel as greasy / heavy as these puffs. For comparison these puffs are around $1/pc and an original donut at Krispy Kreme is around $1.50 An additional minus is the online/app ordering process. I ordered on the app, arrived, and didn't notice any instruction for pickup ( no signage , markers, etc). I waited 10 mins because it was pretty busy, staff were working nonstop, and I had just ordered less than 5 mins ago. I had to ask the staff about my order, and it turned out it was ready all along sitting in a cabinet with frosted glass doors, so I couldn't even tell they had any orders waiting. The app also didnt have a progress bar, just an estimated finish time at time of order. Less than seamless, for sure

We got 12 Puffs which are perfect for sharing (2-3 per person is plenty). They're made fresh to order and I like that you can get 2 flavors. We tried the Reese's & Chocolate and the Speculoos flavor. Speculoos was so good!! Very rich, decadent, and sweet. The Reese's & Chocolate was a good try but the peanut butter was too thick for my liking. I prefer the lighter drizzle options.

As soon as you enter, you will see all the cute and delicious looking desserts they offer like macarons, cookies, mini donuts, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. The three of us chose the $30 high tea menu for today. I ordered the Sloan heavenly cream tea which was definitely heavenly and creamy. My friends got the peaches and cream and jasmine pink lemonade tea's. Everyone enjoyed their chosen tea. When the savoury and sweet stand came out, we all had to take photos first since the camera eats first ;). All the food that we had were delicious! I think it's the best out of the other high tea places I've been to. We finished off by having the desserts which were disappointing compared to the food. The pink macaron I had was overly sweet and the shell was dense. I also didn't like the mini donut as it was overly sweet. My friends tried the truffles and it didn't seem like they really liked it. Overall, the experience, atmosphere, and food were great! Dessert was not that great. We didn't buy any desserts at the front of the shop so not sure if they would be good or overly sweet like the ones in the high tea menu.
