I've anyways felt very well taken care of and valued. I couldn't be happier. I don't see myself changing eye doctors any time soon.

My husband had a severe eye injury from sulfuric acid and was referred to Triad by the ER for…read morefurther care. The ER physician called in advance to let them know we would be coming. Upon arrival, my husband was unable to open his eyes and was shaking he was in so much pain. It was a work related injury and we were informed they don't do workers comp. I said I would just pay out of pocket and was told they would not see him because they "didn't want it to come back on them." Not entirely sure what that means, but I was informed by another eye clinic that REFUSING to see an injured person in distress is in fact illegal(not to mention unethical and cruel). Triad could not care less about human beings suffering. I am sure there are wonderful doctors here, but they work for a crooked company built around selfish and unethical monsters.

I had a great experience at Triad Eye Institute for my LASIK corrective surgery. I would do it…read moreagain in a heartbeat, and I wish I had done it sooner. I LOVE waking up in the morning and not having to fumble around with contact lenses. Having lasik also reduced my carbon footprint as I am no longer having disposable lenses shipped to my house each encased in disposable plastic. I felt at ease throughout the entire process, and the discomfort was quite minimal. I would go through the entire lasik process again to avoid a routine dental cleaning if that perspective helps at all? On the day of my surgery I was in and out in what felt like no time. My driver took me home in my funny looking protective goggle. Then, I slept for as long as a could. When I woke up, my vision was slightly blurry, but nothing compared to what it felt like without glasses or contacts. I had the whole weekend to recover, but I honestly could have functioned fine 24 hours after the procedure. I recommend getting the procedure in the winter so you don't have to worry about sweat, swimming, sunscreen, etc. during the recovery process. I loved that Triad worked with my eye doctor office, so I was able to the follow ups with a doctor I already knew and trusted. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is that I wish I had more information about just how much I would be needing to use the lubricating eye drops in the first couple of weeks. I was under using them, and my vision was not as clear as it could have been right away. Once I figured out how much I should be using, I had even better vision than my corrected vision before surgery. One year later, my vision is still 20/15 (that's better than 20/20). I haven't dealt with dryness beyond the first month. The only side effect I still experience is a couple more floaters in one eye than I used to be able to see. This is a common, harmless side effect (unless there is a sudden change or significant increase later on). Again, I would still do the surgery again in a heartbeat.

(15:00) Yep. (15:01) So, he'll just have to get a recovery system. ^instead of finding the right meds for me (15:03) Yeah. (15:05) Usually, he takes back the irons when they're not... He didn't warn me that I would no longer be able to see up close. Even with glasses, I can't see what I did before. And he diagnosed me with AMD age-related Macular Degeneration and said I'd be blind in both eyes within 10 years, but I'd be dead by then anyway so don't worry. Well, I was 65. My folks usually live to be 98 on average. Some 105! So no I won't be dead by then. I got a second opinion from a retina specialist who said that I only had one spot with AMD, and it was unlikely to cause blindness, but that i should be checked annually just in case. If it did spread, there are shots that can be given in the eyes to slow it down. And it does NOT always move to the other eye as Dr Sudiqui had told me. Dr Sudiqui also wanted me to have another surgery to correct the glare I was experiencing. But I only get glare when I'm wearing glasses, so how is surgery going to fix that? The specialist said no I don't need that surgery and it wouldn't help that problem. I need glasses that don't reflect as much light into my eyes.
