We have been in our house for 8 years and we were tired of driving across town for sub-par service and never actually getting to see the same eye doctor twice. We wanted somewhere closer so of course I took to Yelp to explore our options. Had our first appointments with Dr. Wells at Stonewood Vision Source last night, and he was great! Very professional but seemed genuinely interested in our questions and concerns. The office is extremely clean, and the equipment was all up to date. We went from a place that still uses a projector for the eye chart, so I was surprised to see a tv / monitor being used here. Dr. Wells never made us feel rushed and took the time to fully exam our eyes. He has no idea how much my husband and I appreciate that. The staff member at the front desk (I forgot her name) was very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to browse the frame selections in the waiting area with no rush. There is a smaller selection here than some of the larger eye doctor facilities, but the selection was pretty good even though almost all of the frames I looked at were over my insurance's frame allotment. I either have expensive taste or the prices were higher than our last eye doctor's selection. Our glasses will be ready in about 7-10 days so I will made an edit to include our experience for picking the glasses up after that.

She's very attentive, really listens to your concerns, is very prompt to help you with what you need and most importantly, is very empathetic and shows genuine concern. I got right in to see my optometrist, Dr. Colby Beats. I can't say enough good things about her as well. She got that torn lens right out and is always concerned about helping me in any way she can. I've been coming here for years and would have given this place low reviews in the past because the front desk was not great and you left feeling like they didn't care (although both optometrists are great). Give this place another chance - if Claire (and Dr Beats) are here, they'll get you taken care of and you won't be disappointed!
