My husband's disability took him to a wheelchair while he was in his 50's. Getting him in and out of the vehicle became more difficult so the staff readily agreed to come out to our van to fix his eyeglasses when they need adjustment (which is probably every 2-3 months!) Recently, Kayla has been the "runner" and has taken care of his glasses. She didn't mind the extra effort and was so sweet to both of us while she did the repair. After…read moreasking him before he started the exam to make sure it was for contacts he straight up told me that eye exams for glasses and contacts were the same thing (should've been the first red flag that he wasn't gonna do what I asked and that he was scamming me, but I was tired and naive so I trusted his word) and ended up giving me a prescription for glasses. I was told over the phone twice that the price would be around $80, but instead was charged $95. Another thing I noticed was the wait time. I came an hour early to my appointment since I was driving straight from Norman to South Tulsa Optical and had everything filled and done, but I still ended up waiting 20 min past my appointment time when another lady, who came in the same time as me and was filling out papers too, was taken in by the doctor in less than 5 minutes just after turning in all her papers. Honestly the whole experience while in the office was not at all bad, but just the aftermath is what did it for me and straight up was a scam.
