But she was angry the whole time. She never said the wrong thing. But you could just tell that she absolutely hated us. I didn't like that they kept trying to sell us on this retinal scan. Multiple times. Our insurance didn't cover it. And I did my research about it online. We're considered low risk patients and didn't need to do it. I stayed strong and didn't do it even though she kept saying I did need it. So then when it was my husband's turn, she told him that I didn't need the scan, but he definitely did. So he caved and paid for it. We got a text message requesting we leave a review. . And I didn't do it because I was not happy with the service here. But nothing really bad happened. But now I wish I had filled it out because it was a bad experience. Once my husband and I really had a chance to compare experiences, I realize that we had a terrible time here.

After…read moreasking him before he started the exam to make sure it was for contacts he straight up told me that eye exams for glasses and contacts were the same thing (should've been the first red flag that he wasn't gonna do what I asked and that he was scamming me, but I was tired and naive so I trusted his word) and ended up giving me a prescription for glasses. I was told over the phone twice that the price would be around $80, but instead was charged $95. Another thing I noticed was the wait time. I came an hour early to my appointment since I was driving straight from Norman to South Tulsa Optical and had everything filled and done, but I still ended up waiting 20 min past my appointment time when another lady, who came in the same time as me and was filling out papers too, was taken in by the doctor in less than 5 minutes just after turning in all her papers. Honestly the whole experience while in the office was not at all bad, but just the aftermath is what did it for me and straight up was a scam.

When the correct lens arrived none of the office personnel (at that time) could put it in my wireless frames so I had to make appointments on Dr. Paul's schedule for her to put in the lens. I left work & showed up for numerous appointments only to be told the Doctor was behind and I'd have to reschedule. It took over 2 months of the office manager cancelling & rescheduling my appointments before I got the lens in my glasses and by then it was Fall of 2019, almost 5 months after I ordered and paid for the lens. I talked to the optometrist about all the cancellations and time frame it took to get my lens and she wasn't at all concerned or apologetic.
