Fast forward to March 24, I scheduled 2 hours off at the end of my work day so that I can attend my eye appointment scheduled for March 31 @ 3pm. Then today, March 31, I arrive at the office @ 2:55pm and give the receptionist my name and information. She then proceeds to tell me that I wasn't scheduled for today, that I was scheduled for May 11, 2025. I told her that that was impossible as I had double checked with the woman on the phone, put the appointment information in my phone in the calendar app, and even took time off to make the appointment on time. I also told her that I chose this day and time due to needing prescription safety glasses because I work in the aviation industry in a safety sensitive position. I asked if someone had rescheduled my appointment and failed to call or message me, to which she replied no. I don't care what she said or what is on their computer scheduling system, I know what the woman told me back in February. I don't like to be lied to. I will not return to Eyecare of Claremore.

I finally gave up and went to another Optometrist's office in the area and was treated with total respect, which is exactly what I'm accustom to. They also have this carefree attitude that, if your issues aren't resolved this visit, you can just stop by later. Never mind the fact that they're not open on weekends so you have to take time off work to come in. But that doesn't matter right? As long as the customer is the one being inconvenienced? My point is they don't empathize with you, or show any concern for your problems and simply have a self absorbed happy go lucky attitude when this is a "service oriented profession".

I'm always terrified of dentists, but Dr Franklin and Justin made it a piece of cake! They are both so comforting (sounds weird for dental procedures, but it's true). They both work so well in unison, they're very thorough, gentle, and never forget I'm a human sitting in the chair. They're so good at what they do that they don't cause any pain. I didn't feel the needle at all. I'm used to having bruising and pain after getting a crown, but I had zero discomfort afterwards. I can't say enough good things about Dr Franklin, Justin, and the whole office! I highly recommend them!

However, the blood testing was ordered at our PCP in another facility. When those results came in, nurse Dana would not tell us anything over the phone, wouldn't even ask the doc if he'd tell us anything over the phone... wouldn't even ask!! So we set up this clearly bad news appointment THREE WEEKS out as that was the next one only to drive an hour and have nurse Dana jump my husband's shit and turn him away because he didn't have his results with him. How would he 1- get the results and 2- know he needed to even bring them? PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS PROFESSIONAL?? Someone should not be expected to wait and wonder for 3 weeks what the bad test results are and then be turned away for not having them with him.... SHE IS TERRIBLE AND IS NOT NURSE QUALITY!!! And a doc that would employee a nurse like that isn't worth going to.....

She asked for him to remove our son from her on a Wednesday morning, he said he could not do it that day and would not let another doctor do it. He wanted her to wait until the following Monday. He told my wife that "her pain would be the same" if it happened on Wednesday or if it happened on the Monday. That comment did not help anything. We chose to go to St. John's that day and they took such good care of us and we got to have some time with our son. That would not have happened if we had gone with Thompson's plan. Also, our son stopped moving on a Sunday, my wife had last seen Thompson on the Thursday before. It was a quick in and out. My wife said she was feeling weird and he just brushed her concerns off, and went on to the next patient. Very rude. Please stay away from him. Since this happened, we have had a daughter and we used Dr. Parham with St John's. The difference in the doctor and patient relationship was night and day compared to Thompson. Dr. Parham cared and checked everything on my wife that she needed and wanted. He also discovered what had happened during the prior pregnancy and that was very helpful. He found some issues with my wife and has honestly probably saved her life. Stay away from Thompson! God Bless!

I wasn't even pregnant when I started going to him, but knew I wanted a VBAC with my next child. 2 years later...I had one and it went perfectly! Dr. Thompson is a little bland in his personality, but he is very nice and answers any questions you have & his success rates are some of the best in the state. I highly recommend him to anyone!
