So after walking around the new moved across the way, DMB. I'm of the opinion I like this one less. It's smaller. And doesn't have the same bomb shelter, your own little world feel to it that was so amazing in the last store. It's also more cluttered in a less cosy way. Before it seemed boutique-y, now it just seems kinda garage sale. You can look across the room and see everything. Much unlike the former DMB. So yes, they have the items they used to at the old store. They're just not as good looking on the shelves anymore.

I decided to check out the bottom floor, and I was greeted downstairs by a lovely little old lady named Kathy.

You're paying for THE experience, memories, and a gorgeous candle to boot - can you really put a price on that? The owner was also very pleasant, patient, and friendly. I'd definitely go back.

Stumbling across this new business just in time for Mother's Day. It's so hard to figure out what to do with my mom each year and this was special and unique and even a bonding experience. Today in honor is Mother's Day, Saint Sage Candle Bar hosted their first ever private event. I found out about this via social media. I thought this would be the perfect way to spend Mother's Day with my mom because we both like candles--so why not learn how to make our own together!!!!?? I believe the owners name is Kat. She opened Saint sage I believe sometime in April 2023. Trust me! This is such a unique and fun experience, you have to try it. I'll definitely be back. I had such a great time. The Mother's Day event was about $120-130 for both my mom and I, this included supplies to make our own candles as well was light snacks like charcuterie & mimosas. Kat was really nice and a great teacher. She made it really easy to follow the steps to create our candles and the store is just super cute too. You get to choose your own scents and vessel to create your candle in. We even got to put some floral, glitter and crystals in the candle as well. My candle came out LOVELY! I'm obsessed. I mixed Black Opium, White Sage, and Lavender Honey. My mom enjoyed herself as well. I believe she used mostly musk scents.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this location. When I first approached the…read moreregister, the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, as soon as I entered my boyfriend's phone number and was told I wasn't a member, the tone completely changed. Instead of asking if I wanted to sign up, I was immediately asked for my email. I explained that I'm not from here and wasn't comfortable giving one. I was then asked if I had a friend's email, which also felt uncomfortable. When I declined, both cashiers looked at each other in an annoyed way, and from that moment on, the friendliness was gone. I understand that employees are encouraged to sign customers up for rewards programs -- I truly do -- but customer service should not depend on whether someone agrees to marketing. The sudden shift in attitude made me feel unwelcome and pressured, which is not how a shopping experience should feel. That said, I do want to acknowledge Jesebel, the associate by the front door. She did a great job promoting products, offering helpful suggestions, and was genuinely warm and engaging. Her customer service was excellent and made the beginning of my visit enjoyable. I love Bath & Body Works products, but this experience at checkout left a bad impression. Customers should be treated with the same respect and kindness whether they sign up for a membership or not.
