I have been a faithful fan of this fine establishment for years. I ordered a chimichanga plate and I was not impressed. Little chimi and dry chicken inside. If it wasnt for the accessory sides, beans rice lettuce sour cream,... I would have been upset. Service was excellent but I guess I have higher expectations when it involves quality chimi's. read more

Awesome little taqueria. It is in a funny location for sure- being right next to the gas station- but you are able to see the mountains if you are seated outside! They even allowed me to have my pup in the outdoors seating area. Service was good and the food was excellent! It was delivered quickly and it was hot. I got free chips and salsa for dining in. Highly recommend. read more

The first thing we noticed upon entering this establishment was how tiny it is and the vivid orange walls. Inside they offer a few tables pressed up against the wall and some very narrow counter seating. Outside you'll find some picnic tables. Service was warm and friendly. Order at the counter and your meal will be delivered to your table. When you're finished, bus your table by placing your dishes in the bin outside. We've eaten at dozens (upon dozens) of Mexican restaurants, and from the reviews we thought that we were in for a treat. We really enjoyed the salsa but to be honest, the rest of our meal was just okay. read more

I really wanted to like this spot, but the quality honestly fell short. I looked forward to the barbacoa tacos and while the flavor was good, the meat was very fatty, I ended up feeding more of this to my dog than anticipated. Also, unfortunately the queso dip was like flavored skim milk- so thin and never got "cheesy" at all even as it cooled, it barely stuck to the tortilla chip. Nice folks, but the quality fell short... read more

Wasn't expecting to find some of the best Mexican food I've had in recent years in Sequim, WA, but here we are. Small, brightly colored shack next to a gas station, but don't let that scare you away. The food comes out fast, hot, fresh and delicious. Three steak tacos and a beer cost me about $15, and that's how it's supposed to be. If you like Mexican food, make this a stop. read more

Awesome taco spot! Very limited seating inside and a few additional tables outside, but don't let that deter you from stopping by. You order at the counter and then grab a table if you're staying. We tried the queso dip, street tacos (carne asada, pollo asado, carnitas), and the chicken burrito. The street tacos were excellent! They were all good but the carnitas and carne asada were standouts. The chicken burrito was huge and they did not skimp on the chicken. Queso was what you would expect and it hit the spot. Chips and salsa were also great. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend stopping here! read more

Hands down, the David Family has the best traditional tasting Mexican food on the Peninsula. The atmosphere betrays the actual quality of this restaurant. It's definitely a "hole in the wall" eatery. FIVE STAR AUTHENTIC FOOD read more

After an intense backpacking trip in Sol Duc, we stumbled upon this spot on our way home--tired, hungry, and in desperate need of a good meal. Even though they were getting ready to close, they warmly welcomed us in and made sure we didn't leave hungry. That kindness alone was enough to win us over, but the food was what truly impressed us. We went for tacos, a shrimp fajita plate, and chips with salsa--every bite was flavorful and satisfying. They did run out of chips and salsa before we could get a refill, but considering we came in so close to closing, it's completely understandable. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating, so I imagine most people grab their food to go. But honestly, after this experience, I'd happily stop by again the next time I'm in the area. If you're near Olympic National Park and craving solid Mexican food, this place is worth the visit! read more

This is a cute basic little place with three tables seating two people and one larger table inside and outdoor seating in good weather, so much of the business is take out. You order at counter-friendly woman was taking orders. I was impressed with their chips and salsa. Frajitas were decent-not great. Carnita plates was decent-little skimpy on pork portion and not as much slow cooked and spiced flavor as I've had elsewhere. For the Peninsula, this is very good Mexican food, but would rank lower in other more competitive markets. I plan to return and try some other menu items. read more

We love this Mexican restaurant in Sequim! Besides my home made chili rellenos, Jon next favorite is David's rellenos! He always orders a double order! Jon also ordered guacamole and we both enjoyed it. I had their Wednesday night special: cheese enchiladas with rice and beans for $13.95! It was delicious! I also ordered a hand taco with lengua and it was only ok. Probably won't order it again. read more

Loved the feel when we walked in, plenty of outdoor seating on a nice day also. Easy parking and right off a main street in Sequim. Street tacos were very tasty. Chips and salsa very fresh and crunchy. Tasted very fresh. The Nacos were amazing, Hit sauce verde was really good too. Will definitely be back next time in the area. read more

The restaurants that we wanted to go to were closed and glad we found David Family Taqueria, especially they have outdoor seating for my dog. Most of the tables have umbrellas, which is a plus for summer dining. I ordered taco salad with shredded chicken, barbacoa taco, and steak ranchero. All the meals come with chips & salsa when you order. The salsa has a spicy kick but addicting where we finished all of it before our meal arrives. The chips were super crispy and tasty. The barbacoa was juicy and tender. Highly recommend eating it immediately as the taco shell/tortilla do get soggy fast. My taco salad was loaded with shredded chicken with fresh lettuce and tomatoes that balanced out the savory flavor of the meat. The steak ranchero has a more tomato base taste to it with jalapeno adding the kick. It was a very filling meal and highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for delicious meals with outdoor seating. read more

If you are looking for real authentic Mexican food comparable to Los Angeles, David's Family Taqueria is the BEST and ONLY place to go in around here. They have lengua, tripita, and barbacoa tacos. That is a rarity here. Today, ordered my lunch ahead- it was a Taco Salad. They were so kind and thoughtful to package it when I arrived so my tostada shell did not get soggy. They are nonstop busy with orders and dine-in customers. Now if that isn't 5 star service- I'm not sure what is. Thank you David's family for your smiles, and all the love that goes into the food. You are much appreciated! read more

Walked into David Family Taqueria, ready to play it safe, but the lovely lady at the counter had other plans. Asked her favorite taco, and she confidently said, "Tripe!" Now, I've never looked at a menu and thought, You know what sounds good? Stomach!--but I gave it a shot. And wow. Crispy, flavorful, and downright delicious. Also grabbed a barbacoa and carnitas taco because, you know, balance. Every bite was a win. Moral of the story? Trust the experts, eat the tripe, and never underestimate a friendly recommendation. Stopped in here for lunch and they were busy. I ordered street tacos with pork, and super nachos. Let me just say, there was nothing super about the nachos. There were hardly any toppings and they were just sad. brown guac was not good. The tacos were not really great either. The beans on there came off as filler because there was barely any meat on them. Torillas were soaked because of the beans. Bright note was the salsas were good, but I did notnget to use any of the salsa on my chips or tacos because I had to pour it all on my not-so-super nachos. I was super excited to try, but I wont be back. This was not good mexican food and prices were pretty nuts for what I reveived. read more

Delicious! The tacos and enchiladas are superb, definitely the best around these parts. Service is A+ and their little outside patio on a sunny day is primo. Definitely will be back again. read more

Came in late for a quick takeout meal for my family. Got a bit of everything, the carne azada burrito was dry inside and I felt like it needed a little something more. The sauce on top and the beans and rice were great. The street tacos, pollo and carne asada, were the stand out. My daughter got a taco salad which was large and she enjoyed it, she said it was a little wet but big portion. I would go back for the tacos. read more

Street tacos, burritos, barbacoa (weekends only & sells out quick), all delicious & authentic.

Loved this place. It was delicious and people were happy and friendly. Customers and business alike. At the counter, I was amazed by all the great looking food coming out of the kitchen. We ordered the chorizo stuffed Chiles. Wonderful. We are from CO. I googled breakfast handheld burritos in Sequim. Nothing. They are a staple in CO. (Eggs, meat, potatoes, whatever.) Grab them for breakfast on your way to work or lunch. David's would be a wonderful spot for breakfast handheld burritos. read more

Finding a decent place to grab a bite to eat in Sequim on a Monday can be quite a chore. Shadowline, Salty Girls, FnChips, all closed. But David Family Taqueria to the rescue! We popped in and grabbed a basket of three street tacos each and they were just wonderful. I got the carne asada and the hubs got the pork carnitas. Both were equally well done. They were made fresh to order and even the chips and salsas were fresh made. Oh, and we got out of there for less than $10 each. Something we have never been able to do anywhere in Sequim. We will think about them next time we are driving into PA late and need a great take out meal. Super friendly staff, too. read more

Outstanding (close) Tex-Mex good that I'm familiar with being from Texas. Great portions.

Went here for the first time today! Amazing food, super kind and friendly service, and loved their little outdoor seating area! We tried their enchiladas, and 3 different kinds of street tacos! All were AMAZING! So was the horchata! Yum! This place is such a hidden gem that we will be back to many many more times! read more

Whenever I find a place that offers fish tacos I always feel compelled to try them, and am almost invariably disappointed. Not so this time. The fish tacos here were the best restaurant-bought fish tacos I've ever had. Even though the menu doesn't mention it, I got a tamal a la carte for $4.74 (there's a small charge for to-go, a concept that's always baffled me). The tamal and beans were good, but not necessarily above average. The rice, however, I considered to be above average. And did I mention the fish tacos? They really were great. The tortillas were soft, the fish tasted fresh and flavorful, and the fixings were delicious. If you're like me and love fish tacos, but are unwilling to take the time and effort to buy all the ingredients and make them for yourself, this is the place to come. read more

Friendly and fast service. The prices are good and street tacos are good. I didn't love the guacamole and it was over priced, but everything else was good. Like so many other yelper transplants, I'm glad to have a tasty family taqueria in sequim. I tend to order the carne asada lunch plate with flour tortillas. The food, along with the salsa - more please, tastes very good & very filling. I usually get a coca cola made with real cane sugar (aka mexican coke). My son enjoys the cerveza selection and other peeps enjoy the chicken taco salad. The prices seem very reasonable for the amount you get. read more

Even when it's hot and the bees are buzzing it's totally worth standing in line to visit this place. I wasn't expecting good Mexican food this far north, especially with a little kick, but here we are. My spouse had burrito plate and nachos, he said both were very good. I had shrimp fajitas. The food was tasty, hot, and served fast. The salsa had enough heat for this gringa. I'll definitely be back. I love that they have Senorial Soda. read more

Small, unassuming location with the most delicious food ever! Everything is fresh and service is friendly and quick. I really was not a huge Mexican food aficionado, before today, wow! Fav Mexican food place to get when in a hurry in this area. I grew up on Mexican food and growing up in East LA, I have high expectations. Grandma, mom and my Mexican food is still the best, but when going out to eat, David Family Taqueria, Sergio's in Sequim and fast burritos in PA are my go-tos. I take Mexican food seriously, unfortunately I haven't found my unicorn Mexican food place but David's hits the spot. Chips and salsa is really good, I usually get carne asada anything, nachos, fries, burritos. Has good flavor, no complaints really. The portions are a little small, I remember paying $13 and getting a huge plate of food, but times have changed. Workers are nice, nice place to sit for a quick meal on a lunch break. read more

The taste of homemade food from a home down in Mexico is what it feels like when my family and I come here to eat their Carne Asada Tacos and a Queso Quesadilla. We always feel welcomed in here, our children feel at home with the owner and crew. We missed greatly the food we ate down in the southern states in our travels and a friend referred us to this restaurant a few years back. We come here whenever we get a taste for some Mexican food and Mexican hospitality. read more

On recommendation I went to David Family for two taco salads. It was so good! I expected to see the chicken when I opened the box but soon realized it was on the bottom (smart layering).
