Rich, though never greasy, spicy but not too much, complex and fussy but not like those fancy places that make you feel like ten people have handled your food. The mole was the best this side of the border (and i'm not talking the Canadian border). A broth (an jou) subtle and perfect. Good thing I don't live in town, or maybe I'll move here now. However, the 2nd visit, the tacos were half the size. Also, the sopes had VERY little meat. Chips & salsa were flowing on the first visit, but we barely got a 2nd bowl within the 20 minutes it took to take our order . The jalapeño margaritas are FIRE! There is a back room that can be reserved for parties and it has a nice view of the water! Overall I like this place, but would prefer to get my first visit experience each time.
