The person went ahead and scheduled me for an appointment anyway saying to call them back once I get it figured out. Received a call a few days before the appointment reminding me about it and also stating again my VSP coverage was not found. I called back telling them I did not want this appointment anyway and I never figured out the VSP situation so you can cancel it. Fast forward to the day of the appointment and I receive an email stating I've been charged $40 for not showing. I called back again today asking why I was charged when I canceled and the guy put me on hold. I spoke to the guy for probably 30 seconds and was left on hold for over 3 minutes so I just hung up. This place sucks. The doctor seems pretty legit and the location was close to home which was the only reason I come back but other than that there's no reason to come here. The reviews for this place are all clouded by some giveaway scam they have as well. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Sucks.

Meagan helped me fall in love with what I see--because for the first time, I could actually see! I'm serious. I saw Dr. Ishi, who I seriously cannot recommend enough -- she's truly amazing. She helped me figure out that my previous experience at Costco Optical has, in fact, been totally useless and wholly inaccurate--my prescription has been off for like...10 years??? No wonder I can't see at night! Ha ha! Turns out, my bizarre and highly astigmatismed eyeballs happen to be both nearsighted and farsighted on each respective side..and thus require a certain amount of due diligence and attention--all of which I have never experienced at any other optometrist prior to coming to this place. Literally, one side of my contact prescription was off by 1.5 points or whatever they use to measure it--i mean, what?? Should I contact my car insurance to dispute any claim against any minor car accidents that I may or may not have been involved in over the past DECADE since I LITERALLY COULDN'T SEE!!!?? Dr. Ishi is incredible. Megan is a sweetheart who helped me pick glasses that not only fit, but ~*flattered*~ my large and in charge face. The visit was a pleasant experience and I wish I had come here for glasses earlier. I can't wait to have my new pair of glasses from Spectrum Eyecare. I was told it's going to take around 3 weeks. It's the holiday season now so it's understandable that it's taking longer than usual. Very…read moreDisappointing Experience -- Check Frame Prices Online Before Purchasing I had my eye exam and purchased my glasses here a few weeks ago, thinking I had finally found my go-to optometry. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing. After my purchase, I checked the Chanel website and discovered that the exact frame I bought was listed for $380, while this optometry charged me $525 for the frame alone. When I contacted them to ask about the price difference, they explained that it was due to additional charges and fees. They also claimed that the price was higher because they were able to accommodate my insurance, and that I only paid $220 out of pocket, which they presented as a better deal than the retail price. This explanation makes no sense to me. My insurance provides partial coverage; that does not justify inflating the frame's price. If the frame had been charged at the price listed on Chanel's official website, my out-of-pocket cost would have been significantly lower -- around $70, based on my understanding of my insurance benefits. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I called to discuss this issue and was promised a callback, but no one ever followed up. I understand that businesses have operating costs, but customers deserve transparent pricing and honest explanations, especially when insurance benefits are involved. I would strongly recommend checking the frame's retail price online before making a purchase here. Back in May I went to get my eyes checked / new prescription. Showed up and saw some short female…read moreoptometrist. She tells me my prescription has gotten way worse and she place my new order but since it's a way higher prescription it's going to be a special order and it should take about two weeks. About a week and a half goes by from that point and the new contacts and glasses are there so i go pick them up wearing my old glasses. I walk in and the rude receptions makes fun of me by saying "whoa omg those are big " loud enough other customers turn to look at me. I tell her thanks for put me on blast and instantly bringing back years of embarrassment. I get my contacts and glasses and both instantly start to hurt. Felt as if someone was shoving fingers into the top portion of my eyes. Their response is im just going to have to get used to them. I've been wearing contacts for over 30 years and ive never felt that uncomfortable. I take them home and give it a week and a half and every day was miserable. Pain in the eyes , migraines, dizziness. I went back and told them how horrible that prescription was and i want a recheck. This time i get some Asian guy. When i tell him he makes a face like yeah she's an idiot . He does his exam and gives me a pair on the spot that won't hurt my eyes and will help. He orders the newer pair with the astigmatism. Took awhile and they came in in about two more weeks. He got a little closer on the prescription but it turns out that it's still wrong. It's been two months of hell. The glasses he got me make the world look fishbowl'd and they said that's normal ‍ Since he got closer this whole time i thought something else was wrong with. I couldn't drive because my eyes kept losing focus. I can't read a book unless i have to strain my eyes. I got an appointment with a REAL optometrist this week. Because of all the trauma and misdiagnosis I highly recommend everyone stay away from this place. I will be contacting corporate
