It has been 4-5 years since I came here for contact lens and dry eye treatment. At first, Dr. Olave introduced tear care to me. It helped to ease my dry eye symptom quite a lot. But like she explained, the symptom would come back in a year. When Dr. Olave introduced me the new IPL treatments, I decided to give it a try. It is a 4 treatments package. After 1st treatment, it reduced my inflammation in my eye; I no longer have the constant burning feeling in my eyes. After the 2nd treatment, the result is similar to the tear care treatment, where you don't need rely on eye drops that much. The real difference happens after your 3rd treatment, where when I blink and press my eyes, I would feel the oil being forced out and lubricate my eyes. I cannot wait for my 4th and final treatment. Dr. Olave also helped my daughter to stabilized her eyesight with misight contact lens. She is very patient and never push and very transparent on the expectation about any treatment or products. Her staff is very professional and nice. Overall, I would recommend everyone to go there. read more

Dr. Olave Yee is my go-to optometrist! She is kind and thorough. She provides excellent patient care and accepts a variety of healthcare insurances to help cover the fees. I have been seeing her for the past 2 years now and highly recommend her to all of my friends and family. Her office is located inside of the Sams Club. You do not need a membership card to be seen by Dr. Yee. I visit her every few months for a check-up to make sure my eyes are in good health. She applied collagen into my eyes to help with my dry eyes and has been a great referral for my lasik surgery. Thank you Dr. Yee! read more

I'd been looking into IPL for over a year and finally decided to give it a shot after years of dry eyes. Dr. Yee carefully explained each part of the procedure as we went through each step. She'll also provide recommendations like omega-3s, eyelid wash and a warm compress to improve your dry eyes prior to IPL. After two sessions, I'm already feeling improvement. Excited to finish my remaining sessions over the next couple months. She'll also show videos of your meibomian gland expressions if you're into that. read more

I had a great experience here for my annual eye exam and contact lens fitting. Staff is very friendly on the phone and in person. They are patient and welcoming. When I showed up for my appointment, I didn't have to wait long at all before my appointment got started. Dr. Yee is so great too. She spent so much time explaining her exam findings, discussing contacts/glasses options, answered all my questions about laser eye surgery. It's so refreshing to have a provider spend this kind of time with her patients. I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. read more

The whole acute vision team is top notch! I had an amazing experience from the moment I entered. Front desk receptionist, Stephanie, is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Yee really takes her time and care with you. I felt in really great hands. I had really bad dryness and she fit me into her schedule to see me. It turns out my eyes needed a thorough lid cleaning, which she did with great care. My eyes felt better almost immediately. She gave me a plan on how to maintain my eyes and even had all the supplies I needed in-house (which is greatly appreciated to have it all there) I can't wait to go back and see if my eyes are getting better. Do not hesitate to make an appointment to see Dr Yee, she is the best! read more

Dr is terrible and she try's to over charge you even with insurance she try's to bill for things I never got done. Don't go see her.

I came in today due to my eyes causing a migraine and my prescription being overly due. I thought it was an overdue visit and my vision was getting worse. But the information and care I received was beyond anything I've ever experienced. I grew up having a wondering eye and always being told glasses would solve everything. My vision has worse on one eye. I had never been told about eye plugs for my dry eyes. Or that vision therapy was available for my wondering eye. My prescription for one eye was way more than I should have ever been given. No one ever went into such detail as what I received today. From the minute I walked in to the exit they went above and beyond. Definitely will be recommending everyone to Dr.Yee. I am blown away Dr. Yee is amazing. read more

In my 37 years of life I have never received the type of attention to detail from an eye exam like I did with this office, very thorough exam and I could not be happier w this office. I am definitely recommending everyone I know to this office. I will definitely be a loyal patient! read more

My family used to go to Costco for eye exam. When Acute Vision first opened up at sams club chino, I didn't know for sure if their services are as good as Costco's. I am sooooo glad that I took the opportunity to see Dr. Yee. I realize that Costco didn't give me enough time to review my prescription. Costco optometrist wraps up eye exams normally within 20 minutes while Dr. Yee took one hour to test out all kinds of combinations. My prescription is a bit complicated. I use contacts for astigmatism, nearsighted, farsighted, multifocal, and dry eye. If your prescription is more complicated than normal you must come to see Dr. Yee. I do pay more for my new contacts now but my improved vision is priceless. read more

First time here, price is very affordable and the care is excellent, had some vision issues that past Drs. had just ignored and never told me. After 3 visits Dr. Yee was able to narrow down an accurate prescription. My glasses are now less strong and see more clearly. Dr. Yee and her staff are very friendly and professional and will take the time to explain things to you. Unlike other Doctors in my past who just throw out medical phrases and expect me to have a clue what they mean. Definitely coming back for my yearly check-ups. read more

Dr. Yee does a wonderful job helping eye muscles become stronger with her prescriptions for eye glasses. She and her team helped me figure out an insurance debacle with grace, and her specialty in dry eyes was a nice surprise. Dr. Yee is still the best!! I have continued coming here for my dry eye follow ups, and lash cleanings along with my kids for their exams. My youngest who's 3 even enjoys getting his eye exam and trust me for an assistant to have the patience to ask a 3 year old images or what to do and him feeling so comfortable is rare. Same with Dr. Yee he did great! Always full of laughs in our appts. & his fav part is the eye pressure one that blows air, he cracks up and that thing still scares me hahaha Staff is always friendly and lets you feel welcome when coming into the office, very clean always sanitizing after every patient. The passion Dr. Has for what she does makes you feel so comfortable that your getting the care needed. read more

Impressed with their professionalism from the reception to especially Dr. Yee. She is willing to take the time to be sure we understand what is going on, especially if you have a condition that she is treating. Thankfully I choose Acute Vision to get my annual check up and finally got diagnosed and getting treatment for TED/extreme dry eyes. Just after 2 weeks I can feel and see a difference. Other doctors have casually mentioned it and to use over the counter eye drops, which I have for years and has not worked. Just 2 weeks of proper treatment! They know their stuff here.
