The Cowboy Pizza is supposed to be made with a stuffed cheese crust (according to the menu…read moredescription of ingredients). When you order one from the Delta, Colorado store on $10.99 Tuesdays, ANY LARGE advertised, you are told that the stuffed cheese crust is $3 more. Bogus. The fine print says that any store is allowed to change the terms of the purchase whenever they choose. Another strike against P. Murphy's. Strike three is that the pizzas are not made to order there; they are made prior to customers showing up and stacked in the back for quicker dispersal on Tuesdays. It also seems that the toppings are skimped on that particular day with reductions in pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and cheese. Won't be back there soon in the future as long as the frozen pizza aisle has sales on regularly.

Makes breakfast taste better. They serve up as much as you can eat, and it's all good. My one attempt at B&G resulted in cold gravy and/or green chile sauce. Not all cold, just in spots, like they needed a good stir before ladling. The biscuits are huge, so if you get one on the side with your eggs, meat, and taters, you have dessert of a half biscuit with strawberry or raspberry jam or honey waiting for you with that last cup of coffee. Bacon and links are very good. Lots of hashbrowns. Sometimes left on the griddle a minute too long, but very tasty all the same. Dessert or a meal the next morning should be a cinnamon roll. It's a two-person size, and hot or cold it's worth getting to go.

We don't usually leave reviews, but thought we needed to give a" shout out" to our now favorite waitress at Davetos. .. Cassie! Wife and I as well as another couple from south Carolina were here on Sat. Cassie was AMAZING!!! she made us laugh and feel at home as well as providing us with a detailed guide through the confounding menu. Our wives agreed that she was cute as could be and has a smile like no other!! We had the best visit that we have ever had, the food was delicious as well... we all agreed that the garlic pizza strips and the stuffed mushrooms were" to die for", at the suggestion of our server!!! Will definitely be back!! p.s. just for the record, we were in last October and had a horrible experience, but decided to give them one more try... glad we did! But if Cassie isn't there, don't know if we will stay.... read more

Friday night dinner was extremely busy, yet we got seated right away. The service-just great, with constant refills on drinks and checking into our meals. Food tasted wonderful and portions were good. Prices, of course, way better compared with those bland chain Italian restaurants, considering the small town. My lasagna with meatballs was super, so was dessert. We will be back! read more

The restaurant was immaculately clean, my drink was never empty, and my waitress was informative, funny, friendly, and simply great at her job. And the food was beyond great! But for me, this visit was about much more than just a good meal. I used to come here more than 30 years ago with my sister. She and my brother-in-law are both gone now, and I wanted to come back and revisit a place that held some wonderful memories for me. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, and to my surprise, he remembered my sister and brother-in-law. He shared some wonderful things about them, and that made walking through the door worth more to me than I can really put into words. I'm extremely glad I stopped. They serve great traditional American food as well as absolutely amazing Mexican food. The service, cleanliness, food, and genuine small-town hospitality made this a very special experience. If you're passing through Delta, Colorado, I highly, highly recommend stopping at C&J Cafe. There is parking out front and plenty of additional parking in the back. Some restaurants give you a great meal. Every once in a while, you find one that gives you a great meal and brings back a few wonderful memories at the same time. C&J Cafe did exactly that for me.
