The old wood floors, big TVs, aged copper-style ceiling, comfortable chairs, and rustic atmosphere make you feel like you've walked into a true old-fashioned American tavern. And even with all that history and character, the place is exceptionally clean and well cared for. They have a great selection of draft beer, outdoor seating, and the food was absolutely great. What really made the experience special was our waitress. She's lived in this tiny town her entire life, and you can tell there's a real sense of community and hometown pride here. She was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. I also loved all the Americana throughout the tavern--the American flags, the eagle, and that comfortable small-town atmosphere that you just don't find everywhere anymore. If you're hiking, traveling through the area, or just looking for a great local place to sit down, have some good food and a cold draft beer, CB Tavern is absolutely worth stopping at. To our surprise, it arrived already divided onto two separate plates--a thoughtful touch that's becoming all too rare. That kind of service definitely earns extra points.
