We went to this restaurant because of a friend's recommendation. This was on a Sunday during a…read moreholiday weekend at around 11:45am, without a previous reservation. We were promptly seated and the waiter came right away to take our drink order. My husband ordered a latte, which was delicious and generous. For our meals I chose the chicken, green apple salad and my husband ordered the stuffed French Toasts. We both loved our food! The salad was big, with juice grilled chicken breast and a light and tangy vinaigrette. The French Toasts were one of the best he's ever had (his words). The place is big, really clean and spacious. We are definitely coming back next time we visit Delta.

We knew Fathers Day would be busy. They weren't taking reservations (which would have helped). We…read morechecked in and were told 25 minutes for three people. At 30 minutes I went up and asked and was told they couldn't find, us so they seated another party. We weren't outside or even in another part of the building. We were sitting at the coffee table with four chairs. EXACTLY WHERE THE HOST TOLD IS TO SIT! Got seated. 15 minutes and finally someone came to get our drink orders. That took another 20 minutes to get. Ordered our food. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Twice I tried to flag down someone, anyone, for more gravy as there was a pitiful amount on the steak. Got the gravy and dug in. Steak was WAY over cooked. It was so dry. The breading was tough and crunchy, burned on the bottom. We tried flagging down someone to tell them, plus all our drinks had been empty for quite a while. After 20 minutes I gave up and attempted to eat around the yuck! Ate about half, but couldn't handle any more. When we were done, we showed and explained why I hadn't eaten much. She said "sorry about that", and cleared our plates. When she dropped off the bill, we expected a small discount for my subpar meal. NOPE! Paid full price! We won't be back. Drinks never got refilled. No one came at any time to see how things were. My chicken fried steak was leather with over cooked breading. Using the excuse that they were understaffed is not the customers fault. As busy as they were, reservations would have simplified things for the host, the servers, the bartenders and the kitchen staff!

Regular fuel stop for several tables. If you go in a few times, you start recognizing them, and…read moresoon you get nods and waves, and the waitresses greet you like a friend. Makes breakfast taste better. They serve up as much as you can eat, and it's all good. My one attempt at B&G resulted in cold gravy and/or green chile sauce. Not all cold, just in spots, like they needed a good stir before ladling. The biscuits are huge, so if you get one on the side with your eggs, meat, and taters, you have dessert of a half biscuit with strawberry or raspberry jam or honey waiting for you with that last cup of coffee. Bacon and links are very good. Lots of hashbrowns. Sometimes left on the griddle a minute too long, but very tasty all the same. Dessert or a meal the next morning should be a cinnamon roll. It's a two-person size, and hot or cold it's worth getting to go.
