The interior decor is pleasant, with exposed brick, heating ducts, and more. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. She pointed out that Wednesday is half-price pasta day, and offered recommendations :) How could we pass that up? The waitress soon reappeared with our drinks and free nachos with a spicy cheese dip YAY. V ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta, and he truly enjoyed it. I had a taste of the pasta, and it was quite good. I ordered the Garlic Chicken Pasta, and was a little surprised that it's a butter sauce rather than a white sauce. My pasta was al dente, which was also a surprise. I loved the garlic toast and the broccoli. I think my pasta would have been better with a bit less garlic, and a cream sauce, and wish I'd ordered what V had. All in all, it's a solid four star rating, and we'll be back.

The table side of the restaurant only had one table filled and the bar was about half full. Despite the fact that they weren't busy at the time we had to flag down a staff member to take our order for both food and drinks. Our food arrived with no plates to share our appetizers or silverware. Again, had to flag someone down. Then we sat for a while with our empty plates in front of us and empty drinks. When my date tried to ask the server near us if we could have a refill she FLAT ignored us. He gently asked 3 times before finally slightly raising his voice. Her snotty response confirmed that she was indeed ignoring us. She did make our drinks but after she made them left them on the bar mat and walked away without a word. Shortly thereafter we asked the same woman for out tab who announced, "she'd get to us when she had a moment". Several other patrons came to the bar while we were there and left because they couldn't get service. I stopped and mentioned the experience to the woman I was told was the manager. She initially claimed she wasn't the manager and then snapped at me about how frustrated they were. To top it off she then proceeded to tell the server that I had complained who announced loudly that she "didn't even care". It became obvious that our complaint had circulated among the staff and we awkwardly sat there waiting for our bill. I know it's Corn Fest weekend but it wasn't even busy and there's no excuse for that. Plenty of places to visit in downtown and Tully Monster won't be one I'll visit again.
