The owner wanted cash and became visibly aggrivated when he I said I would have to pay by card. He also planted his two feet on the ground and became verbally aggressive and phycially aggressive in his movements. He also resorted to name calling and foul words. While calling to make arrangements to pay for the tow he called state officials and told them I was delinquent. The bill was paid before they arrived on scene. When they arrived he whined to the peace officer about me then made his exit into his house. The officer wished me luck in my career and left the scene. For over two years I've been taking my car to Ben at his garage and he's never overcharged me or added on work that didn't need to be done. My baby is old and ready for retirement but I want her to last a little while longer. Ben was willing to put some work into her to make her safe. When she needed some extra attention he didn't charge extra money. He was honest about what needed to be done and what the expectations were. Edit: I decided to get my headlights buffed out at Leon Sirum, a service they offer for a super reasonable price. I wasn't driving at night because they were so cloudy. Leon Sirum did such an amazing job they looked brand new and I failed the state inspection because one of my headlights had been installed wrong all these years and we didn't know it. The inspector just couldn't tell because they were so darn foggy Anyway, I brought my car back to Ben and he quickly fixed it and didn't charge me. Thanks Ben!
