I told him I'd get back to him after making some other calls and he said "if you want someone else to do it, go ahead" and then hung up on me. I'm generally really forgiving of people in service jobs but this was truly unnecessary and honestly just hurtful. I won't be going there and I will be warning others against it.

I needed my doors replaced on my truck, they were supposed to have 4 doors ready to come in, then were unavailable. I had to source out my own doors and they wouldn't give me a break because I had to spend my personal time and 1/2 a day to acquire them and come home. When I dropped off my truck finally to them, it sat outside during rain and snow for 2 weeks till the doors were supposedly prepped before working on any part of the truck. I even gave them another advancement as the work started as a sign of good faith. I stopped in periodically to check on the truck and pick up my original doors and if any problems needed to be addressed and a change in the bill. I made my intentions about the project from the very start and my expectations. The girl originally stated in the beginning the project would take 2 weeks total. About the 3rd week of the next month I was told my truck was ready. Upon inspection there was several deficiencies that were visible. They painted wrong hinges, didn't paint my upper bumper trim, cut the door molding off at the door which I had supplied, and left a knife gouge on my lower passenger door. I refused the work, made them repaid everything and gave them 1 week to do so. After 1 week I picked it up on a rainy/cloudy day, was told to look it over and get back if any other problems. After getting some time I went back through the truck, the inside of all 4 of my doors needed to be redone. Scratches on the inside from reassembly, orange peel on another, and a paint run on the outside. Their workers broke my ambient temp sensor and never said anything about it and tried hiding the wire behind a bracket. In going back for the second time the drivers door had to be readjusted because wind noise from the door not locking onto the door striker. One passenger door was higher than another door. Another door could about see the inside edge of a door on the other side sitting in the drivers seat. This took a whole month to fix. The hood had to be readjusted because it didn't line up. Picking it up, the bezel trim on the inside of the drivers door was loose, a retaining tab had been broken and never mentioned till I questioned someone about it. They did buy the new parts to replace, but expected better. I also had an engine light on when picking it up, but no explanation as to why. So I was inconvenienced in taking it to a shop to get check and going in to have repaired. When my side molding had to be recut, an adhesive was put on to paste it back on, now it's coming off the truck. The gap between the passenger door and fender is off. I had it with these people and not going back for these little things. Over 2 months to try and get my truck right is too much time. So beware people, very sloppy work, no quality and control be any means. I estimated they had to eat close to $3,000 to redo my truck. If you decide you want to go here, check your vehicle thoroughly !

I had driven on a flat, and if you're unaware, this can rapidly degrade the quality of your drive. You can wear a CB joint, your axel, or your rotor, if I recall, and too much wear on these can do immense damage to your car's future. I had replaced two of my tires and still felt a wobble. How could it be the tires, I thought? This is why College Street Motors' experience comes into play. The car might as well be a multi-piece orchestra, with brake drums, piston percussion, and wheel woodwinds. I don't intend to go over the top with this metaphor, because it sounds like a bunch of noise and shaking for me. The mechanic left me a very detailed note, describing how there was nothing more discernible than the loud noise coming from the tires I had yet to replace. No wobbling due to damage to other parts of the car. Plus, I believe they warranty their work, maybe I'm just thinking of my AAA membership. After my tires were replaced, I was relieved at how right they were. As internal combustion engine drivetrain cars are complex, so are electrical cars in their own way. It's a world I have yet to get into, or may never dig deep enough to really gain a foothold of experience. Luckily, there're mechanics just down the street for me that took only a bit of time to diagnose the problem, find a tire match for the ones I had just gotten new, and then both install and balance. I bet their experience pays dividends to other customers, too, who are hoping to make sense of a new problem with little labor and diagnostics. Their estimate was spot on, and I didn't feel gross or taken advantage of like with other mechanics. The office is pleasant, with a very comfortable waiting room for short stays (cable TV, complimentary coffee, soft couches). And they're a 25 minute walk (or 5min ride) to the Common where you can go for a longer wait at Thirsty Mind Cafe where the wifi is free and the espresso drinks are well prepared. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about Veryl's, and from now on I won't be wasting my time with any other mechanics.
