I was quoted overcharged prices twice and when confronted I was hung up on by the manager. This company operates illegally and preys upon people in their time of distress. This is not the family owned family oriented business they claim to be instead they are thieves and liars overcharging hard working individuals.

The station was very accessible and neatly kept right before the heart of downtown Amherst. You can pull in from either direction--just know what side of your car has the gas cap! All in all, I would tell international travelers, locals, students, and people of all ages and walks of life to go here. I'm certain they'll make you feel welcome and answer your questions, even in the bitter cold. Again, for full service gas, the price is low so mind to tip your attendant, 10% is a good amount and fits the current era we live in. I was told they buffed out a big scratch on the door for free - but my car never had a scratch to begin with. They filled the nicks with spot paint and it looks terrible. The hood on the car wasn't fully latched. I pulled over, opened the hood completely and there was a lot of overspray in the engine compartment. I had to go back to the shop to have it cleaned. They removed a wheel well molding around the back wheel. They never installed the clip and the clip is part of a set for all 4 wheel wells. You cannot buy one clip, so I have a wheel well molding loose and flopping while driving. I went there because I have a Subaru and the nearby Subaru dealer said they bring all their work there. I tried Cahillane but will never go there again.

Not only did this guy update me with texts of his location but he called to tell me when he was about 15 minutes away. It was the fastest service call I ever had at 45 minutes or a bit less. Our roadside assistance had dispatched another company that no-showed on us after 2 hours of waiting. Eventually a cop came behind us and asked about our issue and then said he would get us a tow in 10 minutes. Ernie's Towing was our knight in shining armor. They told me in the gentlest way possible it was time to get a new car. I asked what I owed them and they refused to charge me. Coming from NYC, I was taken aback to be treated with such kindness and good faith by strangers running a business. We talked more about cars and about some new cars to avoid that they are seeing a lot of problems with. Since this visit, I bought new car.
