Dave & Busters Wayne NJ - Just what the area needs another crap hole. First and foremost to all customers, LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT WHEN YOU SIGN IT! One of the things that Dave and Busters in Wayne NJ has been doing is deceiving customers on their bills. Not all customers are going to be effected by it only those who have things taken off for mistakes these incomps do, and believe us there's alot! For example, say you have 5 items at $10 each. So the bill should be $50. Lets say that 2 things had a problem and they were taken off your bill, "its called an OOPS on the bill." So now instead of your bill being $50 but now its $30. If you you allow Dave and Busters to tell you to leave how much gratituity, they will rip you off. They will tell you to leave 20% of the bill as $10 and so forth. They do this purposely do line their pockets and so that they dont have to pay out as much money to their employees. What should of been stated as $6 mysteriously reads $10. You think its a mistake, THEY'VE BEEN DOING IT SINCE THEY OPENED FEBRUARY 2018 and until this day they are still doing it. So last night on August 31, 2018, we went into the dinning room, and what another nightmare it was, but good because we caught this place still deceiving customers from February 2018 until now. It took them 4 times to bring out a simple hamburger in a rare state. Told them 4 times at first make sure its rare, they brought out a cheeseburger well done. We then said listen past 3 nights we ordered the hamburger and it came out well done instead of rare so we didnt say anything. Once again well done, third time well done. It took nearly 1/2 hour to bring out a simple 4 minute hamburger because one of the managers had to physically stand there to watch and make sure they brought it out. Here's yet another con job. Since we know the Wayne PD for years there was an officer standing outside the door in 90 plus degree whether, so we asked them if they even bothered to get him anything to drink eat etc. So they said no, bunch of asses! So we said go bring him something to drink and eat etc and put it on our bill. They had no problem charging us for it, and when we asked the officer did they bring anything, he said no! Dave and Busters Scumbags! So back to to the deception they are pulling on customers. So we get the bill from the screwed up order and saw they took stuff off the bill. We saw several reviews about this scum doing to other people, so we wanted to know if it was fixed, low and behold, 6 months later its still not fixed. So we take all the receipts of when they ripped off people or deceived them and brought it to the person in charge today Saturday September 1, 2018, and told him that he's place is deceiving and misleading customers and what he's doing is illegal. Then all of the sudden he starts gets getting all pissy with us and basically trying to get all into our faces, we picked up the phone and called the state attorney generals office right infront of this morons face and he gets all worried. Deceptive and misleading business practices for one, deceptive and misleading billing practices, defrauding a customer, obtaining deceptive and misleading funds from victims via the use of a credit card terminal, the whole works. So once he calms the hell down, he's totally uninterested and makes up some lame excuse and say " on i'll have my it department look into it" just a bs statement just basicaly saying i dont care, i know about it, let me go back to doing nothing and continue ripping customers off. Wasnt done there, so we went to another manager named Franco, same thing, more of the same lame ass excuses. Basically he's my boss, i have tables to watch over, blah blah blah and walks away. So we then wanted to know if this was a company wide or just that place, so we jumped into the limo and went down to the Woodbridge D&Bs. Had the same service, had the same OPPS taken off the bill and low and behold when we go the receipt, there was no suggested gratuity on the bill. Which means it happened there and they took it off the system. But if they know about the problem and woodbridge was opened 6 months prior to wayne, then why didnt they do the same thing to wayne. Because no one sued them for it! So watch your bill. Other than that, Dave and Busters in Wayne NJ is just another shxt hole like the other places around. The bar, you will standing there in front of the counter for at least 20 minutes before someone bothers to come up to you. If you sit at the bar, you'll have people come right into you face basically sitting right ontop of you trying to get the bartenders attention just to order some watered down drink. The customers are nothing but trailor trash that done care about any one except themselves. The wait staff is another bunch of illerates that cant seem to get anything right. John-John was phenomenal as our party server. Not only was he quick on drink service and bringing out the food for our event, but he was also always near/in the room so I never had to search for him if I needed something. He was grateful, courteous, and it was a pleasure to have him help me out on such a stressful day (trust me- i was STRESSED). He went truly above and beyond- even packing the food for me and neatly leaving our belongings in the party room. He did more than what was asked of to accommodate us. I also wanted to note that Murph was an excellent manager and promised I would leave with a smile and I did. I work in the event industry so I came in with high standards and a lot on my plate. He was more than accommodating and most important of all- humble and hospitable. Thank you for helping me make the surprise party a hit. Everyone left full, happy, and a little buzzed! Nightmare! This place is a owners nightmare come true! From terrible service, from self centered customers with no respect for others, to the non existant service because they are all too busy on the phone. When you get seated at Dave and Busters in Wayne NJ make sure you wear your hasmat suit! The place is complete junk yard. The bar is always uncleaned and sticky. They will hand you wet menu's from spilled drinks around, you'll see every single table around you full of dishes of the previous customer that has left hours ago, and when you get up and leave, the tables still are not cleaned. Typical company that clearly knows they are ripping customers off and they just paste the same old cut and paste responses to every single complaint that has a different problem. That truly shows they are purposely ripping people off and conning them. I will no longer tip on places because its not my problem or responsibility to provide wages on their employees, especially the markup these places make on items. Remember they charge you 11.99 for a grilled chicken sandwich and use 4oz, a commercial pound of the best chicken is $2.50 a lbs for 16 oz. Thats how much they rip you off between 15 to 100x what it costs them to produce, so let them play their own employees! So we go to Dave & Buster's yesterday for my nieces birthday. My 8 and 10 year old boys are there. I get $60.00 IN POWER cards for them to play with. They play for 20 minutes and amass a bunch of points. We go to redeem the points for toys and all they get is two pairs of plastic vampire teeth. I mean you have got to be kidding me. What a tremendous rip off this place is. Our dinner bill was $ 450.00 for 12 people to eat some ok food and play games. Never again! Pure rip-off. Will never be back. read more

i came here for a grade trip with my 8th grade classmates. it was horrible service, and we were a group of 95 but they only served food for 40/less people. Our tour guide person asked them for more food and they were very insulting and had a major attitude on their face which you could read from 20 feet away.my mom asked for a drink and they came back thirty minutes later saying they were out of ingredients. As an arcade, the place is fun. I think for food you should expect franchise type food quality. A major disappointment, drinks. They will absolutely rape you on everything from a plain Coke ($3.99) to a drink with alcohol ($16.49). The waitress was super nice and the arcade is fun. The drinks, just absurd. read more

We had a blast with the games and the atmosphere was high energy. The food was actually better than I expected for a sports bar! Giving it 4 stars onlybecause it was a bit loud and some of the machines were down, but we still had a really good time read more
