The arcade area is awesome and there is a huge seating area for food. Staff seated us, but it took about 20 mins before anyone came to take our drink and food order. Our server did check on us more afterward. Food was okay, 3/5. We got the mountain nachos for $17.49, it tasted okay and looked slapped together. Happy hour have good deals. 10 wings for $10 and $5 drafts/margaritas every Sunday, Monday, Thursday! Not pictured was our 10 piece wings. The skin was soft, not crispy. This Dave & Buster's location is absolutely fantastic! It's relatively clean, easy to access and has a massive dining and gaming area. We visited this Dave & Buster's on a Saturday afternoon and arrived at about 12:30 PM to hang out with some friends. When we arrived, it was relatively empty, but it definitely got A LOT busier at around 2 PM - not dining wise, but in the gaming area. First, before we went to the gaming area, we dined in. We were seated at a large table (as there were plenty available) near the bar where all of the TVs were, and there were A LOT of TVs. Let's just say this would be an awesome place to catch a game during football season or during March Madness. The menu was as you would expect for a place like Dave's, mostly bar-type food with simple entrees. Service was a bit on the slow side, but our waitress was very friendly still. Our friends ordered various items, but our family ordered our own appetizer and entrees. I ordered the Fish and Chips, which was an entree that is part of the Eat and Play package. My wife ordered the Southwest Salmon Bowl and we got our kids the Kids Pizza. Also, we started everything off with the Pretzel Dogs. The Pretzel Dogs were a tadddd on the salty side and the dogs were slightly overcooked, but the sauce that it came with to dip in dampened the negatives a bit. As for my Fish and Chips - I actually loved it! I knew it wasn't going to be the greatest fish and chips ever, but it was crispy, crunchy and the fish was tender and tasty. My wife also loved her Southwest Salmon Bowl and I had a taste of the Salmon and it was definitely good. For some reason, our kids weren't a huge fan of the Kids Pizza, but I took a bite of it and it was decent. It WAS on the small side though and it was oddly cut into 3 pieces even though it was a square. Go figure. I would highly recommend getting your kids separate entrees though if you have more than one kid dining with you since the entrees seem a bit on the tiny side. OK, so enough with the food. The gaming? Let's just say they have a little bit of everything for everyone! There are nostalgic carnival type games that they have "electronicized" so to speak, there are shooting games, there are basketball hoops to shoot at, skeeball, shuffleboards, claw machines (including an actual human claw machine!) - you name it, they have it! Your kids WILL NOT BE BORED here. I will say that the redemption area is where it gets a bit tricky, especially if you have very young kids, so beware because they will want EVERYTHING. If you're looking to dine and play all in the same place, Dave & Buster's definitely has it covered. You're probably going to spend more in the gaming area than on food, which you probably don't want to really hear, but, at the same time, your kids are guaranteed to have a blast! read more

Been here many times with the kids a few years ago for arcade fun. But tonight I stopped in with Just my husband to catch the game and have some drinks and food. They definitely upped their game. The bar area is comfortable and there are plenty of TVs. The manager was very accommodating and found the MET game ON apple TV. The pretzel app was delicious and my steak protein bowl was abundant. DEJA VUE is all i can say. approx 4 yrs ago was the last time i was here. i walked in for lunch in the staten island location. there was no one to greet me. after waiting there for 5 to 10 minutes, i walked in and found a lit podium. i stood there for 5 to 10 minutes. i then walked towards the bar area where i saw a waitress serving others and no bartender at the bar. she ignored me and after another 5 to 10 minutes the bartender came from behind the bar where he apparently was just standing around. finally, i was seated, greeted, served, etc. fast forward to 09/09/25. i go there for lunch. i walk in and there is no one to greet me. i walk to the lit podium, no one there. i walk to where i saw the waitress the last time, no one there. i look at the bar and i saw the bartender standing behind the bar doing absolutely nothing. i walked over to him where i was acknowledged, greeted, seated, served, etc. the only difference between this time and last time is that i didnt wait at each step. i realize that they dont rely on lunch for their business plan but they are located in a mall where people shop and people shop at noon even on a weekday. they need a sign to tell people to go to the bar area to be seated and have the bartender stay in the front of the bar area where he can greet people. read more

I would come here to play casually, but I would hold off an event here. I had a birthday party here recently. Everything leading up to the event was fine - The email responses were polite and prompt, but the day of the actual event was quite disorganized. My event was on a Sunday, and the Friday beforehand I messaged the representative the amount of power cards I wanted and the value for each. I got an automated email she's on vacation, but a number was listed I can reach out to. I reached out to that number, and I tell her the amount of power cards. By the time I know the value I want I messaged her later, but it was past 5 pm, so I got an automated message she's out of office. That's on me, but she previously mentioned I can add the power cards the day of the event, so I planned that. The day of the event, there is confusion. I took a screenshot of the pricing I was quoted over email since there is a discounted price for power cards for parties. The planner could not confirm at first if that pricing was what they could offer me? My planner said he did not know, but I can pay for all my guests and find out the number of chips after. So basically I would pay and hope for the best? He also said I was supposed to do it ahead of the event anyway? But 1). The person I was in contact with went on vacation. 2). I was told I could order it in person 3). Even so... How could you not know how many chips I receive for a price I pay until afterward? Just seems like a whole lot of poor communication at D&B. They weren't trying to scam me or anything (I actually got more chips than online quoted), but I'm pointing out a major flaw at D&B that the employees could not tell us such important information. Luckily, it was figured out eventually, and they asked to look at my screenshot/email of the online quote a few times, which means they likely don't have this info written down somewhere or were aware of it. I was also brought to a secluded back area for the party, so that was appreciated. I asked if my guests will be directed to this party area when they come in at the front desk, and I am told yes. However, when my first guest entered and informed someone at the front desk he was here for my party and said my name, the person at the front did not know who I was and had to call someone to figure that out. So again, seems a little disorganized. I was also surprised by this because there are only 3 time slots on the weekends for parties, and some employees at the front desk were just not informed about this event? Overall though, I had a good time with my guests. I picked this location because the dining area is nice, and it's much bigger than the Woodbridge location I was originally looking at. I also liked the fact that a lot of the games were functioning well (Drop It needs to be fixed though!). My guests and I were also pleased with the food, although one who got the cheese steak said it was way too heavily salted. This is a good Dave and Buster's to visit casually, but for an event I would pick a different location or proceed cautiously. read more

Me & my family had dine in here many times and food has been good and consistent. I'm pretty sure a lot of people may think that D&B restaurant is just one of those chain restaurants, so don't put any expectation. My sisters,I,friends & family would come to play, but also to eat. They would rather choose somewhere else prior to this place becoming available to eat for dine in experience. I proved them wrong by inviting them to dinner here since it's been here. They were very surprised ever since at how the food came out and we continue to always enjoyed the food so much at this location. We all think that it is much better than red lobster, Applebee's, any compatible chain restaurants. Service is good, burgers here is great, pretzels dogs with that dipping sauce is a must have. Mom love the steak salad bowl and many other entrees as well. Many kids i mentor love all those chicken strips, fries and appetizers. I like how you're able to make any of their salads into a wrap which wasn't so bad. The games are all up to date and functioning. Brand new location that opened up at the Staten Island Mall during recent renovations, and let me tell you, it's one of the best D&B's I've ever been to. I visit this spot quite often with my friends, and it's actually a chill place to hang. Their full selection of drinks are always stocked, and the food is pretty much a decent selection. Sure it's a bit pricey, but for the atmosphere, I'd gladly pay more just to keep the same quality. The games are numerous and LOUD. All I hear from every corner of this place is bells ringing and whistles going off. The games are all unique and not found outside these franchises, which is why I do enjoy frequenting here. They have a huge amount of TVs to watch sports on, and their room is stocked with staff asking if you need to be serviced. Really quite an excellent spot, and one you should definitely visit if you are in the area. If you are shopping at the Staten Island Mall, this spot is DEFINITELY worth a trip. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE KITCHEN!!! We came on Wednesday night and ordered some bone in chickens. The first time it was undercooked there's still pink blood in the meat so we sent it back. Second time the first piece I had tasted like fake meat and we also found this really weird looking thing ( picture below) in the basket. Never in my life have I seen any chicken wing that looks remotely like it! Even if they tried to tell me it's chicken oh boy that does not look appetizing or edible at all!! I was there for the first time for a young adults birthday party. The place was so incredibly noisy & overwhelming, it was difficult to talk or have very much fun. The food was served buffet style & was mediocre, at best. Typical frozen finger foods, like pigs in a blanket & rubber chicken nuggets. While everything was in warming platters, nothing was hot. All the food was at or barely above room temperature. I have no doubt that the host of the party spent quite a bit for the whole spread as well as game cards for all the attendees, but I found it hard to stay in such an atmosphere. Thankfully, the party was only two hours long & I got to experience it on someone else's dime. While the place was apparently clean (nothing was sticky, no obvious nastiness like some of these party spots) I found the whole environment very overwhelming & uncomfortable. While the eating area is slightly less noisy than the gaming area, there is nowhere to retreat to for a few moments of calm or quiet. The concept of this place is totally lost on me! If you're going with children who may have sensory challenges or are easily overwhelmed, use extreme caution & be prepared to exit the location for frequent breaks. read more

My daughter worked at the location on 42nd St & shared how the happy hour drinks are good. I recall this when I took her when she was a lil' one. So we headed out and had a ball. Brought my 14 yo son and 13 yo niece on a Wednesday afternoon during Winter school break. The place was not crowded at all and the service was excellent. We were seated right away. The food and drinks were good and the waitress checked on us regularly to see if we wanted or needed anything else. The games were half price (the Wednesday special) and there was little to no wait for any games. We've been to the Times Sqare location and prefer this one's set up by far. It seems more spacious and there's a lot of seating within eyesight of the arcade so the kids can easily find your table. Lastly, my niece lost her phone in the arcade. I was sure we weren't going to find it. After retracing her steps with no luck, we asked at the front desk if someone had turned in a phone. Turns out they had! The cool thing is not only kids are having fun, the adults are too so awesome. We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food. The girl in the front was helpful and explained how the card works. I've been to several Dave & Buster's locations & this one is by far my favorite one. All in all, the food, spacious areas, Sanitary conditions & a great time is what you will experience here. I actually liked this location so much that I came here twice, 1 month apart. The first time we came with the kids and had a blast. I love that its not as packed as the other locations and the fact that parking was such a breeze to find. After all it is inside a Mall. First time around, I had the Steak & Shrimp Linguine w/ the Lobster sauce & it was amazing. I wish I would've saved the picture to show off :( The 2nd time around I showed up kid free for some drinks & a late night bite. I had the pork tacos which were great, and our server was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with my families experience at the new SI location. I was expecting another over priced crappy video game Place. We had dinner first. The waitress explained all the Food & Play packages so we went with that, which was a good value. Was about $25 a person for dinner and the game card lasted way longer than I expected, I thought my kids would be begging for more money after 15 minutes. Food took awhile to come out and was nothing outrageous but your typical chain restaurant burgers and fries. We did have the Mac n Cheese with bacon that was yummy, cheesesteak was very dry tho. Staff was nice and managers walked by making sure all was well. Then came time for the game play. There was something for everyone. Me and my husband had fun together being competitive while the kids were able to go off and enjoy themselves. I think what surprised me more than anything was the ticket redemption room. There were actual decent prizes and you didn't need a Million tickets to get something decent. We will definitely return.
