What's a great spot for truly good drinks and even better food. I went during happy hour but stayed through the early night. Had several drinks from Tito's to pistachio martinis to legacy bourbon neat. Had some jalapeño poppers, a Philly cheesesteak and a Reuben. The sandwiches were so large I could only eat half of each and have plenty of leftovers. The french fries were amazing too. The service was excellent and it's got the typical Irish bar ambience that you would expect, but in a more friendly atmosphere. The bartenders were attentive and super friendly. First time coming in this place and last time. Came here for dinner on Friday and this has to be on my top 5 worst restaurant I have visited this year. The place is nice parking is available, has outdoors section, indoors nice spacious bar, and a section aside the bar so dining. We sat down at a nice area place feels cozy and vintage very nice decorations. We had: Drunken Clams - Clams were really small really looked like tiny baby clams I don't think with the manager in site in the kitchen I'll let this plate Be served. $14.00 Veggie Kale Burger - If you look in the menu you honestly would think this is a burger but when they serve it to you it's on a wrap. Why can't you just change the name to Veggie Kale Wrap! There was more lettuce in that wrap then Kale! The taste was dry !! $14.00 Maryland Crab Cake - it's suppose to be 2 crab cakes I only got serve 1 not only does this plate look Terrible the presentation sucks! Why would you put the chipotle sauce over it like that. The crab cake taste like it came out of a microwave certain spots where hotter than other. Wow. I have lived in the neighborhood for 7 years and I passby this restaurant/bar a million times a week. As the weather got warmer, I finally decided to walk over for a beer outside and just chill. First, the waiters/waitresses are very nice. Asked for an outdoor setting to enjoy the weather. They have got a lot of drink options. The vibe everyone is chill. I noticed most of the customers are locals, which is good. You might run into a neighbor. The older folks there are very friendly and welcoming, regardless of your age/ race or whatever. Went here for a New Year's Eve Celebration...We had a table of 10 for their NYE Package which includes a 4 course dinner and all you can drink from 9p-1a. We also had a 2 piece band playing for the majority of the night. Most of our friends have never been here prior to tonight. I'm a local that's been here numerous times for drinks and light fare. We were blown away by the quality and portion size of the food! The selection they offered us was truly impressive. The service was also outstanding. Honestly couldn't have had a better experience here tonight and will most definitely make this a regular dinner destination! Love O'Neil's! When you are looking for a great place to chill out, it's the place to go. The atmosphere is so relaxing with great music! The dinners are delicious. My go to are the crab cakes which are perfectly seasoned and served on a bed of arugula. My husband always orders the pot pie which he totally enjoys. The staff is friendly and welcoming! I've been here once pre pandemic, it was good, decided to stop by to see how they're doing. This place has a huge parking lot so now they have outdoor dining in what was their parking lot. Looking for parking took a few minutes but no big deal. This restaurant is on a busy street. Greeted at the front right away, seated immediately for lunch, not too crowded but wasn't dead either. They have hi and low seating options and asked for preference, love that. We chose hi. Server came over quickly, service overall was 10/10. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Just know that the buffalo wings aren't real fresh chicken seasoned and made into buffalo wings. These are wings that come maybe in a bag that were frozen with the breading and thrown into a fryer, I've had both before, I prefer real chicken but these are ok, I ate them. I was really looking forward to dining here when I drove past them a couple times and saw that they had outdoor dining right now. I found out that their igloos were heated and that convinced me to give them a try. I made a reservation same day and we were seated immediately, just me and my dad. I thought that would be a good sign, but there's nothing really good to say after that. Two parties of 8 and 5 were sat AFTER us but both received their food BEFORE us, a party of 2. Our server said it was because my dad ordered a steak... I didn't know steak took an hour to cook but okay... I wouldn't blame our server though, I would say it has to do with the management of the kitchen. We still tipped despite the service being weird, because it is not any of the servers faults I believe. Shrimp Scampi was eh, they left the shrimp half peeled so I had to peel each shrimp as I ate, and found some of the shrimp shells scattered in the linguini too. My dad asked for a medium steak and it was cooked well done. Food wasn't hot when it came out. My dad asked for his steak to just be microwaved to compensate for the temperature and it took almost 10 minutes for it to come back to the table. You would think that a well done steak would come out HOT right. Overall the food was fine but not much better than a home cooked meal. I would have given 3 stars at least, if the service wasn't so bad, or if the food was better even if it took an hour to get to our table. I have never dined here before, so I'm not sure if the service quality has to do with the pandemic, or if it has to do with it being busy on the holidays. Won't be giving this place another shot to find out though. read more

Also, when asked for Bangers & Mash & say that you don't have mashed potatoes but have roasted ones - you do know that people know that you get them pre-made & they are not made fresh. Several of the guests requested substitutions, additions, and omissions to a few of the orders. The waitress on the phone was courteous, thorough and knowledgeable. Our orders were perfect. He went with the chili burger accompanied with a side of sweet potato fries. I of course ordered traditional Irish grub food, fish & chips. Our food was very hearty & filling. As with most Irish pubs that I visit, each one has their own personality. O'Neills is a throwback to the older bars paying homage to Ireland. I'm not an Irish pub person. Usually to loud and to busy. This is still loudish but if you come for lunch /early dinner it isn't bad or crowded. I've been here twice and I enjoyed it the first time not sure why it took me so long to come back. They have a Groupon and sometimes you tend to think if there's a Groupon it must be trying to make up for something. Not the case it's a great deal if you get it. I liked my -cheeseburger on an English muffin and -Reuben egg rolls appetizers. On my second trip I had to have the Reuben Rolls again couldn't resist. I was craving a BLT so I got a -BLT on toast with side salad. It accidentally came with fries but we mentioned it and they brought a large fresh salad with house balsamic. It was delicious, such a nice break from fries, though they are good fries. I was to full to try the one of their specials so I got it to go. It was -Buffalo Chicken Blue Cheese Dip. Not to sure how to reheat. I think it separated too. Nice flavor but quite messy. The service is so friendly. It's pretty clean for a pub. Went there this past Friday. We sat under 1 of 3 large tents. They also had tables with umbrellas that filled the parking lot as they were very busy. Under the tents was nice but I'm not sure I'd like to sit in the lot. There are also a limited amount of tables under their front awning. Food was good pub grub (potato skins, buffalo shrimp and a veggie wrap). Service was friendly but a bit disorganized. Live music was fun. Our drinks were mixed up a little but all in all I think they deserve 4 stars read more

So sad because I had great things about this place, but honestly, it was terrible. We came for brunch and from the first drink to the last bite I would eat there was nothing good. The Bloody Mary has such a strange flavor that I didn't know what to make of it. I decided to get a Bud Light instead. No go there. They apparently carry Bud, but not Bud Light. Umm ok. Onto the food. My sausage egg and cheese wrap was so bland that the only way to make it edible was to dump a ton of salsa on it and even with that, I only ate half of it. My husbands pepper sausage and egg hero was bland as well. No seasoning. Even the sausage, whatever they're using it's bland. That, coupled with listening to the bartender talking about how she works in so many different places that she doesn't know what place does what, doesn't give a lot of confidence that this place will have any consistency. I usually love this place. We live nearby and have often ordered and eaten in but recently we went and honestly it was disgusting. The outside was filthy. The tables were dirty even after asking to be moved. The place was empty and the service was super slow. I hate leaving bad reviews but I believe it helps improve the businesses and again I used to love this place but this was just an awful dinner..... I hope it improves but I won't be returning. read more
