Family pizza joint with a nice bar/dining area on one side and a pizza place atmosphere on the other. We sat at the bar which had a decent selection of booze and a dozen beer on tap. I had a blue moon and wifey had a bud light which her cold, fresh and served in chilled glasses. We ordered a chicken Caesar pizza which had copious amounts of chicken and a nice crispy crust. Live entertainment on weekends rounds out a nice place to hang and chill read more

This place is nice. I'm not typically a big sport bar person, but this place was not noisy, cramped, or divey. We stopped in with friends for some drinks and karaoke. We were already too full to order food, unfortunately, because the pizza looked tempting. The waitress did a good job in keeping us supplied. We ordered the usual ales, ciders, and stouts. However, the menu offered a number of interesting cocktails, mocktails, and frozen drinks. They apparently have live music events (as well as karaoke) fairly often. read more

I have no idea why this place has a high review as the food is awful and the delivery service is just as terrible. 10 inch thin pizza and soggy limp chicken wings with no breading. Great deals for any ny sport game! There's a quick service and dine in seating with a full bar. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is great for a watch party! Their pizza is definitely the best option but enjoyed some other apps as well. Ordered a cheese burger. They put parmesan cheese all over everything. When I wanted it remade they sent it back cold with the buns toasted on the stove to hide the Parmesan cheese. It was the same burger. American cheese was congealed. Burger was cold. I felt like throwing up after I ate it. Service is poor. Always mistakes. read more

I have never been to the restaurant. But my sister lives close to it and that is our go to spot for pizza. One night I was watching her cage and I had to feed them. So I asked him where would you like pizza and they said bravo Coming from Brooklyn I was skeptical but away I ordered. I have to say I was very surprised. The pizza was excellent and the delivery time was quick. So next time I'm out at my sisters, I will be getting pizza from here. read more

I've ordered takeout and dined in. Let me make it clear how outstanding this pizza is. It's May be my favorite place to get pizza on Staten Island. I don't think other pizzerias compare to the quality and perfection of this pie. If you go in to dine it's a good sports bar theme, and there's plenty of seating. Food is usually good, however we ordered zucchini sticks for the first time and they delivered 9 zucchini sticks for $9.50, so more than $1 per stick. Thats absolutely egregious and it was justified with the response "it's weighed". Okay well If we knew there would 9 zucchini sticks it would not have been ordered. Pizza is good. Just dont get delivery. Took over an hour on a Sunday afternoon. Then I call and they tell me it's on the way and should be there in a couple of minutes. Over 20 minutes later, it arrives. I guess if I ever order from here again it will be pick up. read more

Bravo pizza, replacing one of the most well known pizzerias in Staten Island, had a lot to live up to. Though it's hard to judge a pizzeria after just one specialty slice, it's easy to judge on the speed the food came out, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall ambiance of the place. I was only there for about 30 minutes during lunch time, but it was enough to know that it stands out. The restaurant is divided into two- half is a straight pizzeria, half is a sports bar, and I'll be sure to come back to truly experience the other half, because this place was great. read more

I must admit that their food is absolutely good. The, in restaurant service, is good as well, but when it comes to delivery, that is when it sucks. Many months ago, they left my food at the front door, claiming they had texted me, when the phone number that they had was a land line. Text? I don't think so. Also, when we order, the food usually arrives cold and we must have to reheat. The whole purpose of ordering food, is to avoid turning on the oven/stove. Finally, the delivery man/boy/person usually has a nice attitude, but lately, it seems they are so miserable, that they personality of the delivery person sucks. To the Bravo owner/manager, please regroup, hold a meeting with your employees and advise them, that if this keeps up, you will, for sure, lose customers. At least, i won't stand for attitudes. I will send my hard earn money elsewhere. Thanks. read more

They are definitely a good pizza place but I usually only really get chicken rolls and every time I get any type of roll it's got parts that's raw. I feel like you can taste that raw dough taste and also you can see it in there too that's really the one thing that turns me away these days read more

I went to Bravo! To have a drink and watch the game. Whilst I was away from my seat, someone took my phone. The owner went above and beyond. He took me to his office and ran through the security tape footage, finding the perpetrator. It turned out to be a mistake, but the fact he put in the effort made my night. 5* service all the way. Just had their eggplant parm dinner and my wife had the shrimp parm both with macaroni. It was excellent. Large portions (enough for two meals and I'm a big guy ) and cooked perfectly. This place used to be called Gennaro's but now it's called Bravo Pizza. Different owners, but the pizza sure hasn't. This Pizzeria is a relatively new addition to the neighborhood. However, in the amount of time it's been open, it's managed to win my heart and taste buds. I enjoy how the cheese is drizzled over the topping of your selection. It's a tasteful way of anchoring the topping in place. The shop walls are nicely decorated with the local numbers/letters of the trains in the area. A nice personal touch for those of us who care about aesthetics. The gentleman taking the orders, preparing and serving the pizza is personable and friendly. The items on the menu are moderately priced, add to that how delicious and authentic it tastes and it's a great recipe of success. I've been going to this place when it was first opened many years ago. I would highly recommended it.I've been going to this place ever since it opened. Even when I moved I still would drive to get something even though I could walk across the street to go somewhere else . I have told many people how great the food is. There was a model of the place when it was the circus tent with the added area /room and I would show it to people and tell the history of the place.I have a photo of myself and my dad leaving with pizza and probably zeppoles.I had a blown up photo made and gave it to Jerry in return he gave me lunch. My friend moved out of New York and he told me that he misses the calzones that they were the best he ever had. I'll be sad to see the place close however I'm happy that they are doing what is best for them. There will never be a place that is as great. Had high hopes for this place and was left disappointed. Our server was very nice however the food was mediocre. The jalapeno poppers were not worth the price- We ordered a large pie half cheese and half buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken was delicious however the pizza in general was underwhelming. I'll definitely give this one more change as it's a great location and a great place to watch sports/have a drink. The single slices also looked better than the pie we ended up order. read more

This place is a typical bar and pizza place. They have some huge monitors and projectors that display the game. The staff is amazing here and very helped. The service in general is very quick and seamless. The food was pretty good it was the typical pizza and pasta place so options are pretty limited but the food tasted amazing. The waitress gives great suggestions as well so definitely listen to the staff. They know what they are talking about. The ambiance is nice. There was a pool table and a jukebox in the bad along with some claw machine games so you can pretty much hangout before and after your food with a drink around that area. I didn't get any drinks from this place but the bar was full of people sitting and having a great time. So it must be good. read more

My wife loved her Butternut Squash soup (served with crispy bacon) and I loved the long hots. Dinner was as enjoyable. I haven't had a Chilean Sea Bass as well done as here (oreganata style on top of spinach and mashed potatoes with capers). My wife's pappardelle with a creamy mushroom sauce was exceptional. Dessert and coffee were excellent. On an island with so many Italian restaurants, if you haven't visited here you are missing something special.

We sat ourselves and then 15 minutes later we received our waters. bread came out at around the 20 minute mark. We didn't put in our drink and food orders until being there for about 30 minutes. Put our order in, server doesn't write anything down, but that's alright seen plenty of servers work that way. Appetizer comes out 25 minutes later, and the calamari was pretty good. So now we have Been here more than an hour, which is alright I guess but longer then usual from my experiences before reconfiguring a main dish. Then after the the appetizer gets taken away we then wait another 30 minutes for our main dish. We start getting antsy and hungry and the server comes up and tells me the food should be out soon. Great! Wait another 10 minutes and server comes back and asks me what I ordered and my date. I respond and tell him shouldn't you know that? At this point he goes back and asks my date after she is coming back from bathroom what she ordered and now they have our order and hour and a half later. Server comes back and I ask him how much longer until we get our food, to which he says the tickets got lost in the kitchen and should be another 10 minutes. We wait another 10 minutes and nothing, ask server again and couldn't tell us when food will be ready. Will not be recommending this restaurant or returning. What a shame.
