I ordered 1 reg and 1 gf Sicilian pie and 1 chicken roll on a Thursday at 5 pm the states 30-40 minutes. An hour later my wife question wondering what happened to pizza order. She called and was left on hold and no one came back I called 1 hour and 20 minutes later at 620 Ana the persons said the order Is just leaving. Though it's hard to judge a pizzeria after just one specialty slice, it's easy to judge on the speed the food came out, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall ambiance of the place. I was only there for about 30 minutes during lunch time, but it was enough to know that it stands out. This place used to be called Gennaro's but now it's called Bravo Pizza. Different owners, but the pizza sure hasn't. This Pizzeria is a relatively new addition to the neighborhood. However, in the amount of time it's been open, it's managed to win my heart and taste buds. I enjoy how the cheese is drizzled over the topping of your selection. It's a tasteful way of anchoring the topping in place. The shop walls are nicely decorated with the local numbers/letters of the trains in the area. A nice personal touch for those of us who care about aesthetics. The gentleman taking the orders, preparing and serving the pizza is personable and friendly. The items on the menu are moderately priced, add to that how delicious and authentic it tastes and it's a great recipe of success. I've been going to this place when it was first opened many years ago. I would highly recommended it.I've been going to this place ever since it opened. Even when I moved I still would drive to get something even though I could walk across the street to go somewhere else . I have told many people how great the food is. There was a model of the place when it was the circus tent with the added area /room and I would show it to people and tell the history of the place.I have a photo of myself and my dad leaving with pizza and probably zeppoles.I had a blown up photo made and gave it to Jerry in return he gave me lunch. My friend moved out of New York and he told me that he misses the calzones that they were the best he ever had. The jalapeno poppers were not worth the price- We ordered a large pie half cheese and half buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken was delicious however the pizza in general was underwhelming.
