The place was packed with kids and family for a late Saturday afternoon, which is always nice to see. The place was bright and clean, with the staff waiting to take our order with smiles. My son quickly picked his regular slice, and I opted for their chicken and broccoli alfredo slice - YUM! It was warmed to perfection, and my son ate his slice with gusto - crust included! My alfredo was delicious and crispy! The slice was more firm than what I was expecting, and was even debating about bringing a slice home for hubby, but decided fresh is best; better luck next time for him! My favorite pizzaria, Staff is ALWAYS welcoming, orders are ALWAYS right, pizza is ALWAYS good. Buffalo slice, alfredo slice, caesar slice, regular/ grandma slice are my favorite and ti amo makes them best. You can sit and eat they got a flatscreen that's always on. Management is nasty. We order a lot of pizza for employees usually 20 pies every month or more. These guys act like they're your boss and tell you what to tip. This story says it all about the owner/operator. I came in at about 9:10pm and the place is spotless and the owner apologizes profusely that he must close early for a family event. Ok, can you recommend someplace for 2 teenage baseball players and their Dads? Mike stops in his tracks and says "wait! Take the leftover slices that I was going to bring home for my family." Me: "No way, I don't want to take food you're bringing home for your kids...!" He insists, shows me the box with 16 large NY style pizza slices and assures me that most of it won't get eaten. To top it off, Mike refuses to take any money, even after I tried to insist. I plunked $10 into the tip jar for good measure. The pizza was great, and the genuine kindness showed by Mike, even as he's rushing to close, is like nothing I've seen in a long time. My husband had been telling me about this great Bruschetta slice that he had around his job and wanted me to try it. We finally took the drive from Elizabeth, NJ to staten island and it was sooooooooo worth it! WOW! WHAT A DELICIOUS BRUSCHETTA PIZZA SLICE! They put an amazing balsamic sauce. Sad to say my experiences with this establishment on three separate occasions were sadly less than favorable The employees ranging from the delivery people to the people working the phone, right down to the person or persons working counter I must say there's room for much improvement. I gave it a few tries not to rush to judgment but on all three occasions they simply fail. #1) Bad delivery ( forget part of my order, #2) Pick up order I waited in person for my pie, they put my pie on top of the oven and forgot I was there, the result cold pizza. #3) I called for a delivery they said 20 minutes, after 45 minutes I called to ask what happened and I was told they hadn't even started on it. Im gonna give 5 stars so people can actually see this super honest review. This place is a total hazard. The workers NEVER USE GLOVES when handling your food. On top of that, half of them dont wear mask, and they also allow people to sit inside without mask on to wait for their food. The owner is also a complete idiot who doesn't know what's written on his own menu and literally would try to blame you if you were to have an allergic reaction due to his mistake in cooking your mean.
