I have been to this pizzeria a few times but tried it again recently. We ordered a large cheese and a chicken parm sandwich. The restaurant looked a bit dingy and the tables were covered with leftover cups and plates that wasn't cleared away. The cashier and pizza person left the dirty tables and it was gross because there was no where to sit that was clean. The areas with spices and trash area wasn't tidy or clean either. Instead they spent most of the time talking with each other and hanging out. The chicken parm was generously sized and came cut in half. The sandwich was okay. The sandwich came packed with thinly sliced chicken cutlet but there was barely any sauce and the flavor was kind of bland. I felt like it they didn't add any spice to the sauce or the chicken. The pizza was okay. The crust was hard and dry with no flavor at all. The pizza was average and had a decent amount of cheese to sauce. It's not the best nor the worst pizza I had. They charge a fee for credit card and tax isn't included in the price. read more

Ordered a calzone and got pepperoni and sausage I read good reviews for this place and was hopeful. Well it was a loss upon arrival it was well baked and looked really good then after cutting into it the pepperoni and sausage or I should say the lack there off was lost in a sea of ricotta cheese. Would have been better if there wasn't a pound of ricotta and some more meat. read more

The food at DiLeos is hit or miss. Their Buffalo Chicken Pie is great. Their Chicken Vodka Roll is dry, Buffalo Chicken Roll is decent. Their pasta dishes are not very good. But that's not what this review is about. The service at DiLeo's has gotten so bad. It's a pizzeria- I get it, so you're not expecting 5 Star service. But you should be able to expect courtesy, and respect. For the second time in a month, I got neither, and it's about time this place was put on blast. First of all, the place is DIRTY. How they have an A in their window I cannot understand. The tables are gross, and you can't sit while you wait. You'll stick to the tables or chairs. The floor was dirty, with crumbs everywhere. Looks like I'd hadn't been swept or mopped in a week. The counter looked older than me. I placed my order- on a slow Wednesday night- 40 minutes before I showed up to get it. It said it would be ready in 15-20 mins. When I got there, it wasn't ready and I was told by the heavy set, loud,and super obnoxious girl at the counter that it would be another two minutes. In the meantime, another person came in to pick up an order. When he opened it, it was wrong. He pointed it out, and this rude little girl got upset, and started yelling to the back. What's the matter, hefty bag- couldn't walk back and speak privately? As this is going on, there's an employee just standing behind the counter by the pizza ovens, eating a meal. That's what every customer wants to see. Go sit at a table and eat. And hey- maybe you'll realize how dirty they are and try cleaning one. I digress... This girl starts getting loud with the customer whose food THEY got wrong. And we are ten minutes in to my "two minute" wait.m, at this point. After taking another 5 or so minutes of dealing with the other customer, she puts the correct item in the box. He goes to take it. She said "let me tape it again so you don't drop it. And if you drop it, you'll blame us and wind up back here- and we don't want that, do we?" I made up my mind at that point that I'll never go back, and I'll make sure my family and friends never go back. Finally, my food comes out, and all I get is "here's your food." No "thank you," or "sorry for the wait-" nothing. They CLEARLY had not made, or began to make my food by the time I got there. I get home, open my food, and they may as well have given me a loaf of bread with nothing on it. So add this to my wait. After my last two experiences with the people that work in this shithole, I'm done. They could make the world's best pizza, and it would be crap to me because these people have NO CLUE how to treat customers. Pizza places are a dime a dozen on Staten Island. No need to bother with this one. read more

Had a cheese and pepperoni slice. Decent. We sat in and couldn't believe how dirty the restaurant is. If it looks this bad when you enter-I'm scared to see what the kitchen looks like. Outstanding restaurant with a huge menu. If you can't find something to eat here, abandon all hope. Crispy fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cream gravy was on special for $12.99. It was amazing. A huge platter of fried bluegills, also on special, was excellent and would have easily fed two. The service was great. If you are in the area or even if far away you need to try this place. Best service I've ever had. The owner was like a genie and granted every wish. The food was amazing and had huge portions. If you have a family to feed and need awesome pizza. This is the place. Also, it will not break the bank. I'm coming here from now on. It's not my first time eating here. Was with a big group and they handled it very well. Good food, good service. Had a delicious Friday, fish fry. Had a great pizza and service tonight from Valerie! This pizzeria is hit or miss. I ordered a salad last week with extra dressing (balsamic vinaigrette) and got 2 portions of what looked like ketchup. Needed last-minute catering for a retirement party of 60 people. Hearing the panic in my voice, the owner was very reassuring. Wouldn't even discuss payment in the moment... just told me to call back after the party. They arrived within 45 minutes. The food was hot, delicious, and there was more than enough for our guests. The celebration went on and most folks weren't even aware that there had been an issue. Stopped in for some pizza before we left the area back to Maryland! My sister and I ordered a cheese pie (should've gotten garlic knots too!). While we sat and waited I checked out their menu, they had some awesome lunch specials, as well. If only we lived closer. In about 15 short minutes our pizza was ready and hand delivered to us at the table. Once we took it out to the car we couldn't even wait to crack open the box and check it out because it filled the whole car up with delicious pizza goodness. The pizza is raw , I asked for it to be well done and as you can see from the pics I'm posting that it barely even cooked . It's greasy as hell and a complete waste of money . The slices u see missing are in the trash cause when we picked it up to put on the plates it completely fell apart and was inedible . The sauce is tasteless as well . My son got me I to this place. I have ordered pizza (it's good but you must be exact with what you want on it. I like onions but they put sautéed ones and now I tell them just reg onions). Cheese adequate and it's cooked well. I also have gotten salads one was a pear salad (lettuce and other salad things with sliced pears....they do have other ones like orange, etc . Prices reasonable but the pear was no quite ripe. My favorite salad is the steak one! They use real steak cooked to order and it has lettuce, onion, blue cheese crumbles, sliced sirloin , tomato and ranch dressing. It's delicious! Perfect meal with mozzarella corrozza! Try it! Being out of work I don't order much but the menu is large and food is good. Delivery through COVID they asked you place payment on card and they would ring bell and leave on porch to avoid contact. This is a pizzeria in a small strip mall that I passed several times but never tried. We had surprise company one day and I decided to give them a try. Our regular takeout place had an hour and a half wait. Long story short, our food was here in a half hour and wow it was so good. And it was about 15 to 20% cheaper. Ordered off seamless at work today decided to give them a shot, I ordered zucchini fries and a pear salad. I was pleasantly surprised how well the zucchini fries traveled usually they end up soggy by the time they get to you but they were delicious and crispy. The marinara sauce was on point. The pear salad was pretty good and worth the price for 7.99 it had a good amount of ingredients. I'll def be ordered from them again. Only downside was delivery took a little over an hour and they forgot to give me a fork. read more

Ordered buffalo wings and a chicken parm... Not sure what I was given, but I've never eaten buffalo wings that were anything like that. The wings were breaded, and soggy... even the parts that weren't in the yellow gloop pooled at the bottom of the delivery vessel. That sauce was... well a sauce I guess? It tasted like it might have been butter and cheese mixed together. Not at all a sauce I would put on my wings, much less breaded wings, the breading soaked up the sauce, by the way, so about halfway through I simply gave up because it was basically just biting into some soggy cheese-butter-grease thing that vaguely resembled a chicken wing. My fiance' had the chicken parm, she commented off-hand it was very dry and composed of chicken strips, which seems like a lazy way to prepare such a sandwich. She commented the sauce was good enough, but didn't warrant a star bump up. Lesson learned. Beware should you be eyeballing either of these two entrees, and consider moving on to a different meal. read more

Ordered lunch from here the other day. Spaghetti and meatballs came with 1 meatball. So... spaghetti and meatball. It was a pretty big meatball, and tasted awesome as did the gravy- but come on. Gotta do better than that. The Italian hero was a mess. The bread was actually pretty good, but the sandwich itself was absolutely overloaded with the Italian vinaigrette. This used to be a chain pizzeria, opened about 3 years ago. Though I can't say it the best on Staten Island I have never been dissapointed with the food there. They have great spinach rolls and calzones. In the summer they serve Italian ice. Worth a look if you happen to be in the area. They also have outdoor seating in the Spring/Summer & Fall. read more

I was born and raised in Brooklyn and I moved to Staten Island five years ago, I was and still on a hunt for good pizzas. I discovered this place through college's parties in five years ago and I was not a fan. I never looked back. Last year, I became friends with a co worker at my workplace and he mentioned that he is friends with the owners. I gave this place another try, ordered pizza at home and it brought me back so many memories of Brooklyn Pizza. I enjoyed eating pizza from this place, authentic sauce, cheese and dough was made good. I would order from this place almost once a month. Their Brooklyn Squares beats L&B's, sooo good! I would give a 5 stars, if only the owners would clean their ovens often. I am tired of seeing burnt pieces all over the bottom of the pizza and would have to dust off the slices before I can take a bite. The pizzas are made well and why they would not clean the oven? Kinda ruins the moment to enjoy a good slice. I hope they will read this review and take a notice to clean the oven. read more
