The pizza here is pretty good. I went with a vodka pie on my latest visit and a "MOR" pie a couple of months ago. The vodka pie was delicious. Their vodka sauce is top notch. Sweet, tangy, and layered with fresh mozzarella. The MOR is a pie with meatballs, onions, and ricotta. This pie is HEAVY but definitely delicious and something different. The sauces and toppings here is what makes this pizza slightly better than what's in the area. Although the pizza was crispy the dough just didn't have any kind of taste. If I could give negative stars, I would. My boyfriend and I ordered online, gave an address, paid for the order and we were given an eta for the delivery. That eta has come and long gone. We try calling a few times, only to automatically be put on hold. Finally way over an hour later, someone answers and hears our complaint and question about where our order is. They then told us it was somehow placed as a pick up, EVEN WITH AN ADDRESS GIVEN, but now they'll have one of their drivers deliver it. Pizza Finally shows up and it's cold and we've never regretted ordering from a restaurant as much as we have from this place. We will never be ordering from them again or any of the affiliated restaurants (district, Richmond Republic) ever again. This is bad business. This place never delivers on time. Last 3 times I've gotten cold food. I used to cater from them all the time and now you can't even order one pizza pie without a 2 hour wait. Even when you pre order and put a specific time, it's still late. I also live only about 8 blocks away from them. I understand things get backed up but then stop taking orders or get more drivers. read more

Providing a detailed summary of the horrendous experience I endured this evening. I arrived around 7:45 with the intention of ordering a large plain pie and their Parlor Knots. Halfway through placing my order, the woman behind the counter cuts me off, tells me the wait will be 25 - 30 minutes, and quotes a price. I calmly completed my order and received a new price. I pay in cash, and get the wrong change. (I'm getting back less than a dollar, so I let it go.) I wait outside and make a call that lasts roughly 28 minutes. I head back to the counter and ask whether the order on top of the oven was mine. The same counter person asked for my name ... I paused, explained she didn't take it the first time, just my order and money. After a minute, she found my order in the system. Then, strangely, printed the ticket with my order, and walked it to the prep station. It was then I realized, 30 minutes after placing my order, she hadn't put my order in. 45 minutes after placing my order -- admittedly, that was my mistake for waiting so long -- a crowd forms, several complain about the long wait, as the same counter person loudly complains that their pizza maker disappeared for 20 minutes. There were also a couple of people behind the counter openly eating slices of pizza ... which felt quite disrespectful in the moment. 60 minutes after placing my order, I see a boxed pizza on the oven. I assumed it was mine, as I'm the last person in the place. It also appeared the second part of my order was prepared incorrectly, as their $5 garlic knots were bagged, instead of the $11 Parlor Knots I paid for. I finally reached my limit, when I pointed out my pizza was sitting for 20 minutes, requested a fresh pie, and both the counter person and pizza maker made a big production, stating the pie "just came out". The best part about the experience was receiving a refund, even without an apology. I was a consistent customer at this establishment for years. After tonight, I'll never return. read more

This place is phenomenal! The menu has so much variety which makes it hard to choose cause everything sounds so delicious! I came here for the lunch special deal which is unbeatable, $9 for an entree, potato croquettes and a beverage. I ordered the south beach salad and a chicken soup lunch special. Both were amazing!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! If zero stars was an option, I would give this location exactly that. Ordered a pie at 1:20. Person on phone tells me 30 minutes. One hour and 10 minutes later, still no delivery. Call and 5 minutes later pizza arrives and it's totally burnt. Call back to let them know at 2:30, ask for an ETA and again, told 30 minutes. When I questioned the person as to if that will really be the case, rep guaranteed that we would have replacement in 30 minutes. So now it's 3:15 and I call again and pizza still hasn't even been sent for delivery. When I ask to speak to a manager, I'm told that they're telling the reps to say 45 minutes. So when i asked why I was told 30 minutes and it's almost 2 hours now we are waiting for our delivery, now I'm told we are "waiting for a driver." I will say I was offered a gift card for my trouble, but what good is a gift card for a place I'll never order from again??? Terrible terrible terrible experience. Absolutely awful. Amidst the craziness of what's going on, I simply wanted a relaxing night and some good pizza. We normally pick up from a place down the road but the fact that I was able to read the descriptions of the pies helped make the decision easier! The service was quick. The wings were fantastic! The Sweet Chili sauce was spicier than we thought it was going to be and it was AMAZING! We ordered one of the garlic knot pizzas and I was extremely impressed with the presentation. I like my pizza on crispier side so next time I'll request a crispier crust and for it to be sliced to where we could see the cuts. They were hard to find in this pie. Never again. Ordered food with my best friend and his wife (who s allergic to dairy). We ordered pasta and asked for no cheese due to her allergy. When the food came we saw there was cheese on her pasta - no big deal. Everyone makes mistakes we weren't going to yell and scream. We called and informed the manager of the issue - and he accused us of LYING about. I'm unsure if he was accusing my friends wife of being a liar about her allergy or about cheese being on the pasta. Really cool looking place nice atmosphere. Went with my family to have dinner during the week. The service was very slow being the only people in the restaurant. The waitress left us for long periods of time just waiting. To be fair her and another counter person were the only people there.. The waitress did acknowledge the wait and bring us free garlic knots ( really good). The food still took a very long time being we ordered sandwiches and pizza. Pizza was good but some of the sandwiches tasted like wet rug. The fried eggplant in particular tasted like they found it in the basement refrigerator, microwaved it and brought it out . They close at 10 and i called at almost 9:40 asking when they close and if they deliver. They gladly took my order and were so kind. I ordered 2 slices of pizza and an order of fries, was $16. It came in barely 30 minutes (maybe because i was prob the last delivery, but still great). I opened my food and there was 2 extra pizza slices. Have ordered takeout from them numerous times. Never had a problem with their service, delivery or food until the last time I ordered the meatball sliders and found a large piece of glass inside the slider. You couldn't see the glass before hand because it was covered by the melted cheese and when I went to take a bite I bit down on the glass. Luckily the glass didn't break or cut the inside of my mouth. Will not be ordering from there anymore.
