First timer here. I had a lovely time! We ate before we played. Food: The food was shockingly good. Service was very nice and expedient. The espresso martini I had was to die for. Perfection. Games: I liked the idea that the tickets are virtual and attached to a car and I don't have to lug around (or lose) physical tickets. A lot of fun games but not every game is a ticket giving game so be mindful. Some are just experience. The Godzilla VR (16 chips) was pretty funny and cool to watch! *if you download the app and sign up, you get 100 free chips when you purchase $25 (100 chips). I've been to a lot of Dave & Buster's, but this was the cleanest one and most friendly! Still cost a lot to get a prize, but we had some help. One of the tenants there/manager named James really helped us a lot. Especially after the adult in our group, me, spilled water all over the table and the floors! And my grandson, Tristan Five years old did not spill a thing! Lol the food was good and well worth the eight dollars they charged. They had a special combination where it was $20 card and eight dollars in play credits and certain food was offered as a bonus! Really great deal! Just a shitty place to go. Drink was overpowering, and the Brussels sprouts were rock hard. Cauliflower was surprisingly tasty, but for the price of $35, you feel like you're getting fucked over, especially when you could've made literally any of these dishes/drinks at home. Behavior of their patrons playing games is generally immature and obnoxious, which granted isn't their fault, but it just makes playing games less fun. That and the price to play the games for a good hour or so is incredibly steep. Just go to swilburger. read more

It was my first time stopping at this Dave & busters and it was smaller then the one in buffalo that I'm used too. They had nice games but some were glitching but thankfully I still got the tickets, they also have a nice selection of prizes! It was loud and the lights were constantly changing colors which can be a bit much. read more

My son and I have an annual tradition of visiting D&B the day before school starts. The staff was friendly and more attentive than in the past. It was a wonderful visit. My son has been saving his points for AirPods and he accumulated enough this trip. The points store was just as accommodating and great to work with. My party of 4 was seated but the server never came to our table. There was a group of 5 people seated in back of us and the male server keep going to the table. Finally more than average wait time we finally stood up and asked for a server. The server Shauna shared too much about her long days, 13 hour work days and moving from FL to here. A few things ... our drinks were horrible and half filled drinks were provided. Someone other than server brought our drinks. Since our drinks came the server had not stopped back to check our table. Finally our food came... no napkins, sauce or server to check. At this point, i had asked for the manager. He looked upset and bothered coming to the table. I shared our frustrated, Brian the manager said what the problem and what drink you want instead. Honestly i felt like he didnt want to address the problem. He walked away came back with sauce and napkins. Oh i was brought hot tea without sugar. Brian comes back with a small server of sugar. He asked is that it and walked away. Our server Shauna tried to assist and came back ever so often to check on us. It was not busy, Brian never came back to check on us. I would not recommend eating here. Good evening. I have some bad reviews about my night. I was out doing a double date with some friends and we wanted to have some food and play some games. We waited at the counter for 20 mins before even being asked about anything for food or games. When we finally got seated it took another 15in for a waiter to come over. And it wasn't busy at all. When the waiter did come over. They had an attitude and just didn't really care about what was going on. We asked for drinks and it took literally 30 min for them to come out. The service was horrible. When we finally ordered, it took an 1HR for the food to come out. When it did it was barely warm. My fiances steak was undercooked like really bad. The chicken wings where awful. Me and my good friend got food poisoning after. I'm writing this while I'm at at a urgent care trying to get something so I can get this shit out of my stomach. I've never had to email a place about service and food. Also half of your guys games are broken. The guitar hero guitar is broken and doesn't work and the other one barely works. Then the cyber punk game gun was broken. I couldn't play with my buddy and it took points from my card and when I said something to the staff they said they couldn't do anything and just left the game alone. It's been a number of years since we've been to the Marketplace mall and was surprised with all the changes... including a Dave & Buster's. My husband has been to one before but this was the first time for me and our 3 kiddos (ages 5,3 and 2). We arrived around 1pm on a Tuesday and this place was DEAD. There were *maybe* 3 other people there. The kids and my husband had a pretty good time. It was a little too overstimulating for me with the the lights and sounds coming from everywhere. All the games were in working condition and there were plenty to choose from. We gravitated more towards the physical games (throwing footballs, shooting basketball, throwing balls to knock over clowns, beer-pong -type game, etc). Price. Eh... we went with a deal that was $56 for 375 tokens. Each game took around 5-8 tokens. We had our fill of games and still had many tokens/points left on our card. (NBD, we will use at another time or give to a friend). We didn't get any food or drinks. All in all, the kids had fun. We'd return if in the Rochester area. read more

We stopped here strictly for the games. We came in when they first opened. The facility was clean and I noticed they did have an eating area but it appeared to be just high top tables. Front desk wasn't helping people, it wasn't taking cash from what she said.. we only had card.. so I didn't understand that one. we were instructed to go to the bar. The bar tender helped us out and was really friendly. Downside is several games were out of service. Hungry hippo game which is new not working. Skee ball didn't have balls in it, had to flag an employee down to fix the problem. There were other games that were locked or not functioning. After playing for awhile our child wanted to cash in his tickets. No employees to be found. They had at least five to six when they opened. We ended up back at the bar so they could call someone to help us. We have been to the one near buffalo and preferred it over this one. My son had fun so it wasn't a waste of time in that aspect. read more

We stopped here last night after dinner to use up what was left on our player's cards, and for some late night happy hour drinks. We've been here like 4 times, and I've never seen it so busy. The bar was crowded when we got there, and it wasn't even happy hour yet. We played games for like an hour and stopped back at the bar. The entire bar was full, and so were most of the tables, and there was one bartender working. One!!!! We sat down, but there were at least 5 people standing at the bar trying to order drinks, and no servers came to our table. It would have taken forever, so we just left. We'd have been there awhile if we could have gotten any service. We might not have been here on a Friday night before, but if it's usually this busy, why aren't more people working?? We don't really feel like going to Dave & Buster's at 9pm when we need to work the next day, so we probably just won't be back. And the bathrooms were atrocious!!! The first stall, the seat was soaked. The second wouldn't lock. The third was semi acceptable, but everything in that bathroom was dirty. And then there was no soap! No food ordered here-this is for drinks and gameplay. Got here at 5:30. Games were fun and drinks came out fast. My Shirley temple was 90% syrup. No alcohol either. Not a huge deal. Alcoholic drinks came out fast and tasted really good! Bartenders were quick and came right up to us when we got to the bar. Unfortunately, a good amount of the games we played didn't work properly, and we had to call employees over. Admittedly, I was not a fan of their food but the past year or so with menu updates and perhaps a change in kitchen staff, I've found the food to be a huge improvement and haven't had a bad meal here yet. I find the arcade itself to continuously update and add new games which I find exciting. It's clean and I haven't had any bad interactions with any of the employees. We asked four times if the TV could be changed to the game. Food, as per usuall, was meh but with the two teens in tow it was the best place to watch the game and keep them busy playing games. Not much to say about Dave and Busters - it's exactly what you would think. This one wasn't super overcrowded or sticky on a Saturday afternoon. We rented out the party room for our school trip (~25 of us) - which they called the "Museum". The food provided was your standard kid-fare: sliders, fries, chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, etc.; basically, everything was beige. Fountain sodas were also provided. I do have to say, I've been to multiple Dave and Buster's and this one had better food and it was cleaner overall. Definitely a pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend for a kid party, just don't expect anything green. read more

I went on a Thursday around 2pm..a day after the half price games weds. Also 4 days after grand opening. The crowd was nice. Not too big, not to small. I did not witness any fighting...The staff seemed friendly. Our waiter was very courteous. The food was actually good. Very Tasty. The gaming was SO fun..It's a huge gaming area/arcade. It can be overwhelming...My advice is to walk it couple times. take a tour...Watch others play games you might wanna play...then have at it! I really like that you can leave your drinks at your booth/table and come back to it after you have played in the arcade for a while. We did this and our drinks were still waiting for us when we returned after about an hour an half. So While the food was good....the portions are definitely on the small side. And Pretty Expensive. If you have a big appetite, my recommendation is to eat before or after at another place. My brother and I did the eat n play combo for like 20 dollars each...but when you order a soda it comes to more like 23 dollars each. Then we did the "power up" for like 6 dollars more....This gives us like an additional 10 bucks worth of games...Not so sure if its worth it but when all said n done, we ended up spending like 30 dollars each. We spent about an hour and a half playing games....and by the time we were done we were hungry again. So then we ended up getting take out after at a different place. What fun! This is not a place just for kids! They have a wide variety of games, surely everyone will find their niche! You can also hit up the restaurant and/or bar. Their menu is very extensive touching on many different types of foods. I had the enchiladas and my friend had salmon. They have meal deals that include money to play games. This was my first time going here with friends and it's safe to say I wasn't disappointed! However, despite the fun I had, the experience had some drawbacks. First off, I would not call this place cheap. For about 250 chips, my friends and I were able to enjoy a good amount of games for about 2 hours but it set us back $40 which didn't include drinks. I wouldn't recommend spending more than $40 unless you have more people with you, the fun diminishes once you've tried every game. Atmosphere was super noisy and very flashy so I had a hard time focusing on a single game but I got used to it the more time i spent invested in the games. As for the games themselves? The variety is incredible from trivia to classics like Connect 4, Monopoly, and Wheel Of Fortune To movie games such as Jurassic Park and even (my personal favorites), Mario Kart and Luigi's Mansion! I could spend hours in here if I had more time and money but to be honest, you'll get your moneys worth for just an hour or two. Be warned though when it comes to prizes! The three of us managed 1,000 tickets but all we could really get was candy and a rubber band shooter. In my opinion, not really worth it but it depends on personal preference. Overall, Dave & Busters too me is a great weekend getaway. I would even recommend bringing your children along for the ride if they are into games. This place is amazing it's like a giant arcade for adults. I've been here plenty of time in another state always had a blast. First time to this one. Had so much fun I love the racing games and shooting games. You can do so much here, they have party rooms you can rent for birthday party, company party, and more. Came here to celebrate my son's birthday. Haven't been here since COVID. Was looking forward to enjoying ourselves. The employee checking us in was unfriendly and seemed like we were inconveniencing him. We wanted to sit and eat first. Our server was friendly but I was very disappointed with the whole ordering experience. I had questions about the menu and there was no one to be found after she sat us and walked away. The menu itself was weird for a place like this. Salmon on the menu but no onion rings??! Food was okay. Not great and definitely nothing to come back for. I saw our sever 2x. Fred: older guy, his customer service was terrible. I asked to be seated for food and he said we have no servers (meanwhile there were people seated and I saw several servers). He takes me to the bar and tries to seat me in the middle of the most busy area. I asked can we be sat somewhere else it's super busy right here. He replies we have no other spot. So I say all these empty seats and this is the only spot. I added cancel the seating. He tells me that I didn't have to be rude about it. So I told him to shut his mouth and he turns around and starts walking to me as if he wanted to fight. I spoke to his managers and they treated it as if it wasn't a serious matter. These guys need to be fired. A great worker named Antonio came over and gave me the best customer service that I have received in a long time. He told me he would take care of us and immediately sat us at a table (where we were just told they had no open tables), Antonio really made us feel cared for. Some of the games as a little overpriced, but sometimes they have coupons for buy $20 get $20 free to load on your card with makes it better or half priced games on Wednesdays. I tried the shredded pork tacos and they were even better than I expected! I will definitely order them again in the future. Check out the giant Rock'Em Sock'Em robot game(photo below). The not-so-good: I had to wait ten minutes for a second Bud Light. There were no more than six people at the bar. My bartender ("L") was seriously inattentive. She finally noticed the empty glass at the bars edge, after waking by it 12 times. She never checked how my food was - not even when I finished. She never said thank you when slapping my check down. I left 20% anyway. That's just me. Mis this a generational thing? Am I wrong to expect a smile ams a thank you? I can spend my money anywhere. Bartenders and servers in Rochester have a real opportunity to make great money. Simply be attentive and personable....as most are NOT. While I'm sure this bartender is a nice person, she missed an opportunity for a higher tip. She clearly wasn't interested in providing a fun experience.
