The kids and I enjoyed all the veggies and egg for my bimbim bap but the chicken were cut until small pieces were just ok. My husband did enjoy his Spicy Pork with a good amount of spice (they asked him if he wanted spicy) and came with potstickers, California rolls, rice, and a side salad. My daughter actually really loved the green bean banchan and the daikon and kimchi were super delicious too! The owner came to our table to say hi to the kids and each table got watermelon as dessert (the Asian way!) She was so nice and offered extra watermelon for the kids if they wanted it. There is also a good level of fish sauce. The flavor was awesome! I had the cornmeal-crusted tofu, which was excellent. The portion is also nice and large, so I was able to enjoy my pad thai a second day. We'll definitely eat here again next time we're in the area.

Today, I had the Veggie Ramen Soup with shrimp & egg along with a cup of jasmine flower tea. The bowl of soup was so big I had to ask for a container to take home what I couldn't eat at lunch. With big huge shrimps and a perfectly poached egg, the noodles and veggies (broccoli, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, bok choy) hit the spot. The broth was delicious with the perfect amount of spiciness - my lips were tingling with the heat! (Tip: I asked for a "1" on the spiciness chart and it was spicy. I think it might have actually been a "2" because it was spicy! I like my food spicy but if you don't, maybe ask for a "0".) Ordering is accomplished at the counter, which is on the left when you enter the front door. When I said I needed some soup for a chilly day, the man who took my order suggested the Veggie Ramen. He then asked if I wanted to add anything to it and I requested chicken, although I got those huge beautiful shrimp. (I'll be asking for those shrimp from now on!) Prices are comparable to or less than any other place these days - veggie ramen soup was $12 and the pot of tea that I got at least 3 mugfuls out of was $2.50. I had the red curry which tasted pretty good. We shared the chicken fried rice which was tasty. We had a few other dishes that were flavorful. To sum up our experience - it was definitely a lot of food, fresh and tasty. Also, the Noodle Cafe is probably one of the best Asian restaurants in the area.
