If it's your first time to Italy or Europe, especially coming from United States, of course the service will seem a little off. But if you try to communicate with the waiters and joke around they become really good. Took a minute to order the food but it was quite busy when we arrived. The house red wine was very good for the price as well as the draft beer. The misto fritte (mixed fried seafood) was the best we've had so far. There was an actually whole fried fish, some jumbo prawns, anchovies, and the sweetest most tender calamaris. Delicious. Next we got the pasta alla'arrabiata. On the menu it says with penne but we asked for spaghetti and they accommodated. Wow was it delicious. The perfect amount of spice with a great fresh tomato sauce. Went well with the fried seafood. Even the bread we received was good. If sharing just have to ask for extra plates and they will bring you. Don't assume anything when getting service in Europe just have to ask. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu. Was one of the best I've had. Lady fingers were soaked in a good strong espresso and the mascarpone cream was light yet rich, almost liked the bowl clean. Overall the food was great and the server was entertaining once you got him talking. There is coperto or service charge included of 2.50 euro but that is used as tip and for service charge so don't feel obligated to leave extra. Bill came out to 47€ for 2 glasses red wine, medium/large draft beer, fried seafood platter, pasta, bread and dessert including tip. Overall would go back again. P. S. Never expect much from servers in Italy. All seem cold, they are just order takers. Need not degrade stars from that. Review based only on food and quality. read more
