One of our favorite meals during our recent Italy trip! We didn't have reservations, but walked over shortly before they opened and asked if we could make one for our party of 2, luckily they were able to squeeze us in at opening. We were seated promptly indoors (if you want to sit outside you have to ask for an outdoor table when making reservation), our waitress took our order pretty quickly and we were left to wait and people watch. The manner of the wait staff was definitely more blunt than other establishments we visited, however I wouldn't necessarily portray that as being rude. They have limited waitstaff and try to be efficient, I respect that. We split the Gorgonzola gnocchi with pistachio and a sea bass fillet. Both were delicious, I have never had Gorgonzola gnocchi before, let alone with pistachio. The added crunch from the nuts was great to the typical chewy gnocchi texture. The sea bass was cooked perfectly as well. We finished the meal off with a tiramisu I which was also tasty. I would definitely come back on a future visit.

Definitely try the house wine. Also try the local Cinque Terre wines, especially the Riomaggire one bc you are at Riomaggire lol

Wonderful restaurant. Everything was delicious, and the waiter went above and beyond! It felt like dinning with family. Exceptional meal!!!

Excellent food and even better service! We walked in after 2:00pm on our first day and had a delicious meal. We spent four days in the area and ate at other places for lunch but would return to this place at night because we knew we'd get a delicious meal and a friendly welcome. The pizzas are great. We had the pasta with mussels, the pesto pasta, the pasta with clams and some other dishes. All were excellent. The people working there are very nice and friendly. We'll be back if in the area again!

Literally came here two nights in a row. Not only does it stay open later than most restaurants on the street but the food is absolutely amazing! First Night: house red wine (loveeee), meatballs, gorgonzola and pistachio gnocchi, lemon cake 2nd night: salami hot pizza, lasagna, cheese and fig plate and house red wine! Seriously everything on this menu is great!

Stopped in for lunch to order a pizza and it was very average. The dough was great, but the sauce and cheese was pretty bland. Also, the pizza doesn't come cut, what am I supposed to do? Start biting into the whole pizza? lol The sauce and cheese rip unevenly and make a mess when you try to just tear it apart...

Thank you Elena for the hospitality and thank you to the entire people of this establishment for making such a memorable experience. I'll never forget this meal as one of the best I've had in Italy. If you think you've had good fish, think twice before coming here. Prices are amazing for cinque terre. The potatoes are perfectly crispy on outside and soft. Greens are fresh and no dressing needed. Menu has a great variety of options. Located at top of the Main Street, it's worth the short hike. You won't regret it.

Service was really good and people very nice. Gnocchi was also very good. Close to port and easy walk to train and good eats.

My wife and I don't really enjoy fish, but we even liked the local-caught sea bass: Fresh, flaky, tender, and mild but with a nice flavor (most fish is too bland for me). Regarding the speed of service, it is an *Italian* restaurant (in Italy, obviously), so expect it to go more slowly and enjoy the leisurely pace. Also, the house wine (white and red) is delicious. Highly recommended!

Definitely make a reservation a couple of days ahead because they book up fast, and the place is popular with visitors who swear it's the best in Manarola. That said, the service was rough. The staff felt inattentive, and even when I was ready to pay, it took forever just to get the bill. They never came back to collect the payment, so I had to walk up to the register myself... and still wait for someone to take it. And honestly, they weren't even busy. The food itself was good, though not the best I've had in Manarola. The grilled sardines (five pieces) were tasty with bread. The seafood spaghetti, frutti di mare, was excellent with a solid portion size. The "giant" grilled prawns were flavorful but definitely not giant; you'll still be hungry unless you order something else. The grilled vegetables were a bit soggy and underwhelming. I kind of wish we'd gone for the lobster pasta special. I saw it at other tables and it looked incredible. Overall: good food, great views, but service that needs improvement. Not a bad meal, but not the must-visit some make it out to be.
