My husband and I just had a great experience at the Dash Inn. We had been driving from TX for the last day and a half and we were hungry and tired. We were the 25th customer and so our meal was free! That fun promotion is going on all of December for Christmas. The chicken was delicious and piping hot. The interior of the restaurant looks like it was newly renovated. We chose Dash Inn based upon other reviews and were disappointed. The meat patties were dry and everything tasted salty. Service was quick and friendly and the place was clean. We don't eat a lot of salt, so it might not be an issue for others. Lemonade was good. read more

The Dash Inn is a fast food place on the outskirts of Buffalo. It's not unlike KFC, but the portions are bigger and tastier (at least in our opinion). We dropped by for a Tuesday evening takeout meal. We ordered the two piece dinners which included mashed potatoes, coleslaw salad and bread (with honey). The staff are very friendly and efficient. They do a big business with the locals and that's always a good sign. Our dinners were really good and the chicken pieces very generous (large). Even the mashed potatoes and coleslaw was good. It's obviously not gourmet dining, but was an excellent meal for a very reasonable price. The rating is in relation to other fast food outlets. read more

A typical small-town burger joint. It came highly recommended by my nephew, who lives in Buffalo. It must be popular with the locals, the line for the drive-thru went around the building at 7pm on a Friday. The staff was very friendly, and fast-working. No complaints about the service. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon was good, but the small burger patty was overcooked and dry. French fries were very good. My daughter ordered spare ribs, they were somewhat fatty, but large. The wife ordered a fried chicken platter. She liked the chicken a lot. The food is cooked to order, so it's fresh and hot. There is plentiful comfortable bench seating and tables, and the place is very clean. You get to bus your own table. read more

Really good pork ribs and dairy bar selection (burgers, grilled cheese, shakes, etc). Ribs appear slow cooked with heavy BBQ sauce. Every time I make a cross country trip I go out of my way to visit buffalo and stop by here. If only they had some beef ribs! This used to be the best fast food place anywhere. It's under new ownership and they are trying to run it on the cheap and it is rapidly going downhill. The portions are getting smaller, the cole slaw recipe has changed and it is not nearly as good. The gravy used to be world class, now it is a coagulated mass of yellow on what used to be a good meal. For years I never had an order messed up, now it is common. All they had to do to be successful was change the name on the checkbook, unfortunately that's not all they changed, and are currently in the process of unmaking a regional favorite. read more

Since this place is located just outside of the RV park we were staying at, it was very convenient to check out. Although there was a long line for ordering, things moved along fast and we were eating dinner within minutes. Our burgers, hotdogs and fries tasted great plus the shakes were really wonderful. We also noticed how clean the whole restaurant was. The tables, floor and restrooms were spotless. It's quite obvious the entire staff takes great pride in their work. I love the Dash Inn. Always squeaky clean and consistent. Amazing low prices combined with high quality. Great food, always fresh and hot, fast, friendly. Great Malts, Super Dash burgers, and the best fried chicken around.And this is from a boy with southern roots! Been in the area since 1992, and it is always a treat. We had an overnight stay in Buffalo. This was the parking lot that was packed, so we gave it a try. Delicious--and I mean delicious--fried chicken dinner. The chicken was seasoned well with crispy skin and juicy meat. The sides of mashed potatoes and gravy were also very, very good. Love it. Keep in mind, this is a FAST FOOD restaurant, not fancy dining. The Dash has a great variety of menu items. Pretty much everything is midwest style, so don't expect a ton of fresh veggies or exotic spices. This is my preferred stop after a strenuous backpacking trip. The double bacon dashburger, BBQ sandwich, and fried chicken are all good. In fact, the fried chicken is the best I have had anywhere in Wyoming. If you are looking for fine dining, look elsewhere, but if you want something fast that is much better than the McDonald's or Hardee's down the street, definitely stop at the Dash. I took a road trip with some friends out west. Stayed at the Wyo Motel. Dash in had to be about 200 yards away. Food was pretty good and inexpensive. I ordered the fried chicken meal. Their slushies are amazing if you like that sort of thing. If you are nearby I would highly recommend this place. Girls working were also very nice. read more

We were there Halloween Night 2015. We must have been tricked. The chicken I was so looking forward to because of past visits was the worst I have eaten. Dryer than the sage along the highway. Mashed potatoes were boxed gravy was institutional. The "bun" was a piece of COLD Texas Toast. We just wanted water and were given two plastic glasses and pointed to 3 semi empty pitchers that we did get 1 glass of water from. Save your money it was way over priced. Dash Inn has been a "family favorite" for as long as I can remember. My dad used to pack us up after church and buy multiple "dinners" for all of us to share. As kids, we would fight over who got the last pork rib, potato wedge, scoop of mashed potatoes... alright, we'd fight over it all. As a teenager, I'd frequent Dash Inn on multiple lunches throughout the school week and get to enjoy a Dashburger or soft taco with a serving of potato wedges that, finally, I could eat in peace. Fast forward to my thirties and I still crave the entire menu from states away. Just got back to visit after almost 8 years... and I'm very happy to say that its exactly how I remember it. The food is absolutely fantastic. The Dashburger is still juicy and messy (which in my opinion, if a burger doesn't require a napkin or two... its a waste of time and calories) and the potato wedges are piping hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly moist and tender on the inside. This place never disappoints and, in time, I'll be packing up my kids one day to give them the same chance at the last pork rib (and of course make bets on which one will win). read more

We haven't had a lot of luck with restaurants lately on our road trip. However, after reading some of the reviews on Facebook, we decided to give this one a try. I must say I was surprised but glad we gave them a chance. The prices aren't real bad and the food, well the food was really good. My girlfriend tried the ribs and I had the fried chicken. We both agree that these folks know what they're doing when it comes to food. My chicken was fried a real nice golden brown, juicy, not greasy and it had just the right amount of flavor. Pretty darned good for a fast food type environment. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that goes through the Buffalo, Wyoming area. Got a bucket of fried chicken other day, it had 9 pieces. I thought it would be good for say 3 meals for one person. However, I think they use baby chickens because there were maybe 3 bites of chicken meat on each piece (not counting the skin). I would not recommend buying a bucket of fried chicken there. However their slushy drinks are very good and taco salad I got yesterday there was very good - well the inside guts of it. The shell of the salad was too brown so I didn't eat that part, looked semi-burnt. The drive-through gets very busy and so does inside the restaurant; sometimes you have a line of people waiting. One time in recent months they forgot to put an item I ordered in the bag and when I got home found it missing. I called and they gave me a credit I used later in week. The best fried chicken in Buffalo Wyoming in my opinion is what is sold at DJs - a small grocery store in town. Their pieces are huge and have generous amounts of chicken meat on them. read more

This place was serving up overpriced nursing home cafeteria food. The 3 piece chicken dinner was mystery meat and very very small pieces. Finished by drum in 2 bites. I think I got half a breast too. The mashed potatoes out of a box had been sitting on the plate for some time as the gravy was firming up. Total kid food for all 3 of us. Over priced and not worth the long wait or the stop.
