There was a contest and the winning totes sales goes the University of Howait West O'chu Acodemy of Creative Media who was there with a claw game and gave out aloe plant for prizes is fun and unique. Thank you to Mini of Hawaii for sharing their space with us all and the community it's very nice and can't believe how cute their vehicles were but the totes are more my thing at the moment. Before I ordered, I had considered buying a MINI on the mainland and shipping it to Hawaii myself. Garthan patiently answered all of my questions, walked me through the advantages of ordering directly through MINI of Hawaii, and gave me the confidence that they would take care of me when I arrived on Oahu. That decision turned out to matter far more than I ever expected. My original JCW made it all the way to the Port of Los Angeles, where it was severely damaged during transportation and ultimately totaled. Instead of the car I had ordered arriving around the same time I moved to Hawaii, I suddenly had no car at all. Garthan personally called me with the bad news. What I remember most about that conversation, though, is that he didn't just tell me there was a problem. He immediately told me there was a plan. MINI would fast-track a replacement JCW built to my original specifications, and MINI of Hawaii would make sure I had transportation in the meantime. They provided me with a courtesy Countryman S for nearly three months, at no cost to me, until my replacement JCW arrived in August. Throughout the entire process, Garthan kept me informed, answered what must have been a ridiculous number of questions from me, advocated for me with MINI USA, and continued helping me even after I took delivery. He and the dealership also worked with MINI USA on a goodwill gesture for the delay, which ultimately helped pay for a custom surfboard from a local Hawaii shaper. That's a pretty great ending to a story that started with my brand-new car being totaled before I ever got to drive it. Anyone can sell you a car when everything goes according to plan. You find out how good a dealership and its people really are when something goes badly wrong. That's why I'm especially glad I listened to Garthan and ordered through MINI of Hawaii rather than buying on the mainland and trying to handle everything myself. When the unexpected happened, I had someone here who took ownership of the problem and made sure I was taken care of. Garthan and the MINI of Hawaii team earned my business and my recommendation. In my experience, an honest dealership that genuinely cares about customer satisfaction is worth a lot when buying a used vehicle. My experience with Aloha Kia Leeward has earned them my loyalty, and I would strongly recommend them over dealerships that simply want to make the sale and collect your money. In my case, I had an issue with the car after the sale. Even though the vehicle was sold as-is, the sales manager personally got involved and did the honorable thing by taking care of the problem for me. I arrived around 10:50 a.m. on Friday, pulled into the service area, and was greeted by Michael B. He answered all of my questions, explained the recall service, gave me an estimated completion time, and reviewed all of the paperwork with me before I signed. He was friendly, professional, and communicated everything clearly. At around 2:30 p.m., Michael called to let me know my vehicle was ready for pickup. When I arrived, he went over the completed service paperwork and even walked me out to my car. As a nice bonus, they gave my Kia a complimentary car wash. My car looked fantastic--the exterior was spotless, and even the wheels were clean and dry. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at Kia Waipahu. Unfortunately, I've had disappointing service visits in the past (as I mentioned in a previous review), so this visit was a refreshing change. Michael mentioned that he's new, and I'm so glad he was the one who assisted us. His professionalism, communication, and customer service made a huge difference and completely changed our experience. I knew going into the purchase, it is a USED VEHICLE, with a 3rd party warranty, so don't go into a used car lot expecting a brand new 2025 vehicle. Skylar was able to find a vehicle I could agree on with an affordable price. The cons is the vehicle does need a bit of work to be perfect , but again it's a used cheap vehicle.

When i came to look at the vehicle i noticed the vehicle tags were expired. Firstly, the vehicle was not even ready to be sold none of the paper work for the truck was ready. Went for a test drive and notice the AC was out. So then they needed to fix the AC before i even considered buying it. They do not let you get up to highway speed when test driving it BTW so be careful when purchasing. They offered financing there DECLINE it if you can my credit was ran through a poor company called Westlake. I offered a significant amount of employment verification for them to still turn down the loan because "of fraud and inconsistency" even though i had already signed a contract of what i would be paying. While i was doing that i was also trying to get a loan through my bank to see if i could get a better loan amount. Because of that Westlake decided they needed a million things from me because i was wanting to get a loan through my personal bank. Anyways. I signed all the paperwork paid the down payment paid for the insurance and the vehicle was released to me. I had the truck for a month !!!!!! And now TCA IS DEMANDING IT BACK BECAUSE THEIR LENDER WAS A FLUKE!!! They sold a truck with broken headlights which i paid to be fixed , i installed window tint because i had THOUGHT I WOULD BE PAYING THE CONTRACT I SIGNED!!!!!! SO NOW IM OUT OF A VEHICLE AND A LOWERED CREDIT SCORE TRYING TO PURCHASE A VEHILCE FROM THIS SLIMY COMPANY There way of trying to make up for this was doing a "in house loan" at $515 a month with a 23% APR NO THANKS $30k for a $18k truck RIP OFFS

I immediately called his shop at 8am and he was quick to answer; told me to bring my car in right away. I wasn't able to come til later in the afternoon, but he was still able to service me and inspect my car. He narrowed down the problem based on my description, did a quick and efficient inspection, then offered the solution. He showed me the problem, which turned out to be my tires, and made sure I understood the corrective action and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. They are located in industrial area of Kapolei. They always seem to be busy, yet they have got us in to look at our car to order parts in advance if needed. Once on calendar they have always finished in the time/day promised. They have always charged a reasonable price and not suggested work that was not needed. Sometimes in afternoon they have not answered phone so we dropped by. We recommend them as a good local shop.
